Kyra cursed as her foot slipped onto a spike. She had gotten careless, so focused on the shadows she didn't even look at her feet. Though the damage was fairly minimal it still stung and made her head dizzy. "Of course it's poisoned." Kyra gritted her teeth and tried not to let it bother her when she saw a figure looming over her. Thinking that it was a cultist she struck out with her dagger aiming for the neck. But when she got close she saw that it was actually Brannor; the poison had made Kyra not recongize him. At the last second she tried to pull her blade back before it could hurt him, hopefully deflecting off his armor. "S-Sorry!" Kyra shakes off the dizziness in her head. The kobolds were now aware of them so Kyra needed to get ready to fight. She heads further within and tries to find some cover and draw an arrow.

@Hekazu

Sorry about the wait, I've been having Internet issues. I was hoping to put this into a post but I'll just give you the results: 10. I really hope this isn't going to be too disastrous or else I'll need Brannor to purge any poison in Kyra's system.
I rolled a 14, 16 with advantage if this perception check has anything to do with humanoids.
@Zverda

I'm a life cleric, though I have a level in ranger right now since she's always trained with her father for hunting. She's just learned enough to really qualify after the attack on Greenest.

@Hekazu

I'll have Kyra tell everyone what she learns then. She'd suggest heading left; the right path probably just leads to the kobold rooms or something since she doesn't notice any human footprints, but the path with more tracks likely leads towards somewhere important.
After resting the party moved forward. Kyra stayed near the front; her new found tracking skills would hopefully help them find the kobolds and brigands inside of this cave before they find the party. When they reached the crossroads, Kyra also noticed the foul spell and figured that the area up ahead is where they dump their wastes. It certainly smelled like a cesspool. Going forward wasn't something Kyra wanted to do, so she looked towards the left and right path.

The right path had some sort of flimsy spear nearby which made Kyra curious. Even to her, the thing barely seemed stable enough to be used as a weapon. She was just going to dismiss it as the kobolds here being unkept and dirty, but surely they weren't so lazy that they couldn't throw away their trash at the literal trash heap before them? Was it a marker for a trap? They had seen a trap at the staircase before. While a pitted spear would be too obvious of a trigger, perhaps it was merely meant to be a distraction. Not to mention the right path looked man-made. They must have dug out this section of the earth for their own purpose. What purpose? Kyra wasn't sure.

The left path had even less for Kyra to work with. Just a space leading to elsewhere. "Waste heap up front, some mystery stick to the right, and the unknown to the left. Think Kyra! Use what your father taught you!" Taking a moment to think, Kyra got low to the ground and used her elven senses to try and find any noticeable tracks nearby. Mainly kobold, but also people, possibly even dragon people if Cyanwrath was here. Even if most of the camp was evacuated there was no way they would leave one of their own nurseries protected by just kobolds and cultist. So Kyra took the moment to find out where the bulk of the cult would go, what their numbers are, and whatever else she could expect.

Ugh, I don't know why the ranger of the group is doing so bad at her stealth either. I have an 8. I don't know how Hekazu determines the score, but that puts us at an average of 15.4, 15 rounded down. Which is better than before, but I hope it's good enough.
After picking up her bow Kyra and the others retreated from the bar swarm and went to the mushroom garden to rest. Kyra made sure to keep everyone out from the dangerous shrooms as well as to make some rudimentary camouflage. It was far from foil proof but it’ll at least give the party a chance if they need to hide from danger. Once everyone was settled in Kyra went about patching up her wounds with her supplies. Orchid seemed to have been able to patch up his own wounds well enough that Kyra didn’t need to help him. Latin was bloodied but it looked like she used her own magic to undo her injuries. Brannor wasn’t harmed at all, likely thanks to his heavy armor protecting him from the insects. Torus was physically fine, as his animal form had taken the most damage. So all she needed to do was take care of herself.

Once Kyra was sufficiently healed and looked to the others. ”We need to press on, though I don’t want to awaken that bat swarm again.” Kyra raised her hand towards Brannor with a hint of magic on her fingertips. ”It’s not much but if we have to go through there again, allow me to provide some Guidance. Every bit will help.”

Right, sorry for the wait. I’ll have a post up ASAP.

@Zverda Welcome to the game! Can’t wait to see what you’ll bring to the table.

Dulga Tarata

Dulga simple crossed her arms and looked at the two soft looking girls. Really, one was a dragon and the other could probably one of the toughest fighters in the class, but their ultimate weakness was a bit of snow and chilly wind? It made Dulga feel somewhat annoyed. "All the more reason you two need to come. Didn't you just tell me you wanted to get stronger? First step is to deal with your weak points. It doesn't matter how powerful you can become if you have a critical weakness that your enemies will exploit." While Dulga was nice and friendly before (As nice and friendly as she sometimes is around her friends), she seemed much more stern this time. She didn't like the thought that these two were going to just give up so easily. "In fact it's not even a choice anymore. I'll drag both of you to Hokkaido if I have to. I'll make sure you train and practice in the snow so much you'll grow numb at anything less than subzero." Dulga's tone wasn't joking either, though this was also the tone she used for joking too. Whether Dulga was serious or not wouldn't been seen until the next weekend.

There was some legitimate questions though, namely about transportation. She still had some of her mother's coins so she could easily secure transport from the station to her home and back. "There is a bullet train that we can take from Hosu to Hokkaido, though it won't be a short trip. About ten hours or so, if the weather doesn't cause any problems. From the station to my home I can rent a shuttle for the weekend. As for who'll go... Honestly, I only planned this to be a girl's only trip." Dulga raised her hand and stuck out two fingers, and would raise a finger for each name. "Yozakura and Kaida of course. Kishimoto if she can muster up the energy to actually train. Possibly Akasha if I think she won't be more trouble than it's worth. Kasuke could be worth training too." Those were the only ones that Dulga knew personally. The others Dulga has seen in class and through training, but never personally interacted with them. "The others are free to come too, if they want. Mori, Fumika, Mamoru, and Maeda. Though I don't expect them to drop everything they're doing and come just because I ask. I'm sure they have plans for this weekend too."

Thinking about this trip some more, Dulga was going to need to spend a bit of time to prep. If it was just herself, Dulga had more than enough supplies at her home to survive a weekend alone. But if she had to take care of even just two more people, she'll need more food, water, firewood, and other essentials to survive the nights. And that's not assuming their training doesn't end up leaving them stranded in the forest away from her house. It's a very real possibility what with the blizzards that could mislead them or treacherous terrain putting them off course. All the more reason Dulga needed to prepare ahead. "Take essentials, but pack light. This isn't a vacation or a camping trip. Dress warmly and have spare clothes. Right now there's no running water or electricity at my house but there's going to be plenty enough space for everyone and it's built to stay warm in the winter. I should have some firewood left to heat up the stove and hearth too. Might need to bring your own food. I wouldn't rely on hunting and gathering except to supplement meals." Looking up Dulga tried to think of what else to add or say. Honestly aside from that she thinks she had everything covered, but before she finished she had one more thing to add. It was going to be very important for the girls.

"Leave the drama at school. You can't afford to be prissy and petty up north. I'm not taking you girls up north just so you can fight."

@Heartfillia@Ryonara
We could find more potions in this cave, but time and spell slots aren’t going to be something we can regain in a pinch. Could we try and scout ahead for a safe room or something?
