The love she gives is unlike anything my heart ever believed this world could offer. The love she is owed is my purpose, and it is my honor to fulfill such an oath. My heart is yours forever.

Will definitely wait for Professor Mark to fill us in a little more before I respond. Otherwise, it'll be another 10 posts of everyone responding to everyone responding. :P

Fair enough :D.
Things had escalated quickly. ‘Why do things always have to escalate around me?’ Nathan thought to himself. He did have a history of causing escalation but as far as he knew he wasn’t the cause; at least this time. He watched as students walked in while still listening to the altercation that was taking place. It was strange to really stop and look because he could tell just how many different walks of life were represented in this room; yet they were already in a dispute.

“Well, so much for mutant unity.” He mumbled under his breath unaware that it hadn’t emerged as a thought solely in his head. It was just about then that one of the instructors arrived. He spoke of graduation, the idea of the students in the room representing the first class to graduate this program. Professor O'Donnell mentioned that Dr. Ashford “feels” that they could be the ones. That stood out to him because they hadn’t even truly started the program yet so he wondered what exactly the words meant, or if it had anything to do with the Doctor’s mutant abilities. Nonetheless, Nathan took the words in and looked around the room once more, at a group of teens and young adults that had just been arguing and smiled sarcastically at the thought of them being the first class to graduate. Irony, to him, was the funniest thing in the world.

Right on cue more aggression emerged from a couple of the students as they questioned Professor O'Donnell’s words. Nathan honestly understood where they were coming from. He hadn’t come here necessarily to sign up as part of a mutant army or any shit like that. He had come here mostly to get away from where he had been, and to hopefully start to heal from what had happened.

“Mother loves you Nathaniel. You can’t escape my love and you will never escape the love of God. I will not let the devil take you.” He heard the words in his head so clearly it was as though she were standing in front of him. Of course, that would be impossible because she is dead. ‘Thank God she is dead’. Immediately that thought came with guilt, with regret, and with nausea. He forced the memories back down deep into his mind and returned his focus to the scene playing out in front of him. It was just in time for him to hear a question about the “…programs and facilities…” that they would get access to.
I'm feeling a little better today. I had a vacation in the hospital lol, but I'm back home and will get a post up today. Thanks for your patience, and feel free to post in the meantime. There is plenty for you all to react to :).
I have the flu but I promise I'll get a post up tomorrow?
@Lady of Lore We're just waiting on The Unknowable's post and we should be off to the races :).

Beautiful lol.
Morning everyone :).
@Dark Light Is there a specific character sheet?
@Dark Light Then I will write up a CS and get it to you soon :D
I'm still very interested in this one. I'm currently running an X-Men game, two table top games, work full-time, and have a kid. So, I may be a bit of a slow poster but if you'll have me I'd love to join. I just wanted to be open and honest about my situation before jumping in.
