"My offer still stands. Though, you're not storing those in the duat, are you? Teach me your ways, O Edgelord."
She pulls her weapons out of midair, twin khepeshes made of a clean red metal. The pommels have a small animal head on them -- like a greyhound or a jackal, but with a weirdly shaped nose, and the ears are boxy. One can tell that the artwork is too good for the differences to be accidental. She turns them over and over, cutting small bladed noises into the air.
Set laughs to himself, interrupting her train of thought. Hot Chick.
What are you up to, little god?
Just a feeling. And don't call me that, pathetic girl.
Elias looks suddenly very uncomfortable. "I don't suppose I got away without being seen, then, and I certainly don't expect someone like that to just stay in jail and let himself get executed."
The younger vampire begins walking alongside Vinashy, presumably to the throne room. He may have been here before, to receive missions, but he hardly knows his way around. He sighs dramatically. "Have you dealt with him before? How long until he comes tearing through the castle walls and rips my head off? I'd rather like to keep it."
@Jasper19 Is charlie in their room? The egyptians are going to have better wards than that :/
Aster laughs. "Set is a god, hundreds of millennia old."
Older. Much older.
"Older, he says. He's had plenty of time to practice, though not necessarily with Greeks."
She looks at his weapons closely, squinting. She seems to see something, and smirks.
"Your weapons are in mediocre shape. What, did you fight a monster and just throw them in the duat? Rookie mistake. Let me help you clean them. There's a training room in here somewhere, and you can test them out there, afterwards."
I think I'm gonna stick to two, and I'd reccomend everyone else does, to (save for out lovely GM, bc I can't tell him to do fuck-all). I think many more will take up a lot of room and make the IC chat absolutely crazy, and it might intimidate new people from joining.
Also, I haven't read them :<
Aster turns to Artimes. "So you're a daughter of Poseidon? Impressive." She waves her goodnight, and turns to the rest in the room.
Hmmmm, that boy... Hades. I guess Hades. Her god swirls around her head, finally interested. So much movement gives her a small headache.
10 points says Apollo.
What? Idiot girl, that makes no sense!
To Devon, she asks, "Who are you a child of? Based on aesthetic alone, Set thinks you're a child of Hades."
"I suppose. I saw some sort of metal glint, but I had figured it was armor. Now that you say it, a steel arm makes sense."
Aster laughs, adding ZR, RTMS, and DVN, and scrambling the symbols of JCB and STR to read BTCH and WKLNG, respectively. "I have been with Set with a while, yes. It helps that we get along so well. No hard feelings back. From me, anyways." She drops her wand back into the duat.
Pah.
Oh, hush.
She goes to the communal kitchen area, pulling open a cabinet. She throws a packet of Reeses at Jacob, and takes a bag of pretzels out.
"I had thought Serapis was destroyed with his staff. Maybe he's just resting somewhere deep in the duat or the underworld. It would be foolish to hope that Setne's influence stopped when he was imprisoned. It wouldn't suprise me either way if Serapis was whispering to magicians or demigods or if followers of Setne were trying to revive Serapis."

Llewellyn thanks Aster and Jacob and enters his room to sleep, visiting Hades. He is able to practice his powers there.
@Sharidi37495 Sorry to @ you twice in a row, but

"She senses some demigods nearby, but that boy is like Aster."

Neither a demigod nor a magician cannot sense the presence of other demigods or magicians, nor can they tell if a magician is a host. Set and Sobek were able to sense each other, that's all. They communicated that to their hosts.
Additionally, the 18th nome was a rogue magician's base until the Kanes destroyed Apophis. Regardless, most magicians except for those at the 21st nome discourage and distrust magicians who follow the Path of a God (ex Leonid or Felix), let alone those who Host gods (ex Aster or Walt).
She feels though if Set had hands, he would've flipped the kid off. So, in his stead, she does. "Weakling? Is that a challenge? I promise you, boy, you will lose."
She shakes her head, Set's cackling resounding through her skull. "I remember the Kanes taking down Serapis a year ago. That's about when I took Amos Kane's place as Set's Eye, actually. If this quest has anything to do with Serapis, we're looking at cultists."
She procures her wand, and writes JCB and STR in hieroglyphs on two of the doors. "Greek demigods? Is that what they call their hosts? What are their names?"

"No? I'm not a host. I'm the child of a human and a Greek god. Uh, my name's Llewellyn. L-L-E-W-E-L-L-N. Uh, shit, no, L-L-Y-N. Sorry, dyslexia." He hopes she wrote it right, being completely unable to read the markings, but the repeat letters are there. He remembers something about hieroglyphs not including vowels.
