@Mae Aaaaaah sorry i haven't checked here in a few days!!! Still totally game for this

I'm good with my three characters for now I think... we'll see...

Group #1
Location: Outside|| Action: Inconspiculously trying to get away. || Mood: Relieved --> Worried/Confused--> Sneaky
Interacting with: Kain@Orpheus, Targilde @Mae, Kaleo @Tenma Tendo

Iggy sneered as the man thrust his spear out. He almost immediately went on guard, brandishing his own makeshift weapon at him. It was only until he spoke that he realized what the man was doing. Iggy snorted, was the man so foolish as to give up a weapon? Even if he already had one? His threat made him reconsider his actions, but it didn't hurt to have, right?

The frazzled man took the spear, perhaps a little too harshly, inspecting it carefully. He felt a sense of relief wash over him, even though he kept a careful eye on the other three, he was glad to be as safe as he could be right now. He was always grateful to be alive, this wasn't any different.

He took a deep breath, looking at his surroundings a bit more carefully. It was then that he realized exactly what was surrounding him, strange gold flecks floating around, but more importantly where he was. The train should have made it obvious, however, as did the tributes surrounding him...assuming they actually were tributes...

“Shit…” he muttered, moving the spear and metal rod into one hand, rubbing his face with the other. Did he want to go back to the Camp? It certainly hadn't worked out well the first time... Maybe it was safer now? The mere though made Ignatus laugh, but would it be worth it to stop over, if just for a night? It wouldn't take long to walk there, though quicker by train. It was strange just how close the train go before crashing. Ignatus assumed it was his own fault it crashed.

He looked back towards the others, his brow furrowing as a strange black...shadow snake wrapped itself around the man with the cross bow. He had no idea what that was supposed to be. Ignatus wasn't going to stick around to find out.but what about the Misery Hounds? Ignatus glanced around, they could still be lingering. "Shit..." he muttered again, maybe for now it would be safer to go to Camp? At least follow the path there... It was an idea. He glanced back at the three of them, one unconscious, one with that thing wrapped around him, the other completely unconscious.

Ignatus shook his head, keeping an eye on them as he slowly backed up, trying not to draw attention to himself as he did so.

Location: The Mists|| Action: Watching the chairs with mild amusement. :: Insisting they leave || Mood Intrigued --> Frightened :: Anxious
Interacting with: Viola @Fox of Spades, chair.

The chairs responded almost immediately to the request, letting Alexis down gently to the ground. Oxe couldn't figure out why the chairs reacted the way they did (and what he could have done to insult them in the first place). He was glad to be able to stand up without worrying about being knocked over, however, as the chairs seemed to lose interest in him.

"Thank you very much, it was lovely meeting you but we must get going." Alexis said politely, as her feet finally hit the ground. There was concern obvious in her voice. She raced over to Oxe, barely acknowledging Viola, or the one chair that seemed intent on following her as Oxe scooped her up into his arms. "I saw where the mists end but we need to hurry." Alexis said, cupping a hand to Oxe's ear, whispering quietly and quickly into it.

Oxe's eyes widened, his memory coming back to him. He simply nodded, lifting Alexis up and placing her on his shoulders. "I saw a clear path." She said, pointing to where she remembered seeing where the mist began to end, trying to keep clear of anyone she had been able to see when she had been hoisted up above them.

The chair that had followed Alexis ran in quick circles around Oxe, either to prove it was fast, or to make sure Oxe wasn't hurting her in some way.
Group #1 Location:Stuck under a train--> OHMYGOSHI'MFREE!|| Action: Removing offending pieces of metal from my abdomen--> Escaping from under the train--> It doesn't even matter anymore!|| Mood: Pain/Shock --> Relief--> Ecstactic --> Cuatious

It had given him a new strength, grabbing onto the piece of metal that was stuck in him. Biting down even harder onto his arm he pulled. It was swift, almost painless as the metal piece came out, only his jaw and arm ached mildly from his biting. With the rod out of him it seemed as if the darkness around him cleared, the fear he felt gone. He was ok for now... he knew how to escape.

He could still hear the voices above, someone asking if someone was ok, someone mentioning having fought off something, but in that moment he saw only the sliver of sunlight coming through. He coud see now, it was where the two train cars connected. There was just enough room for him to get through. Taking the piece of metal and sliding it out from under the train he crawled over carefully, picking his way through the opening. He barely squeezed through, but he managed it. Sunlight hitting his face he picked up the piece of metal. Gripping it in his teeth he lifted his jacket and shirt, both sporting a new hole, to reveal the damage the metal had caused. It still stung, but now in the dazzling sunlight Igantus could see that it was barely much of anything.

He couldn't help but laugh. It wasn't the first time he had been in a rough situation, each time just as relieved that last. He was a bit bruised, a bit shaken, but he was alive and surprisingly uninjured aside from the small wound in his abdomen. He let out a sigh of relief as he ran his hand through his hair, miraculously not getting stuck in the obvious tangles and knots that rested atop his head.

At last he looked around, he couldn't see the Misery Hounds, though he was sure they were nearby, somewhere... He did, however, spot what was inevitably the voice he had heard while under the train. He was taken aback, not expecting them to be so close. A tall blonde carrying a girl, talking to another man holding a spear, just in front of him. What were they talking about? Ignatus took a step back, clutching the piece of metal tigher, his hand moving towards his pocket.

"I'm fine." He said completely out of the blue, the amusement and excitement nowhere to be found in his voice. He didn't look fine, of course. His hands covered in blood, only some of it his own, and his frazzled, messy appearance seemed to indicate anything but 'fine'... But he felt fine, which was all that mattered.

Oxe was thankful when the woman stepped up, fighting off the chair. Helooked to the woman, nodding as he placed his hand against where his mouth was hiding and moved his hand forward in her direction, 'thank you'. However his thanks were short lived as the chairs came back. He scrambled to get up, but they didn't attack him this time.

His brow furrowed as he stared at the strange oblong shape they had brought to him. His eyes watched it carefully. Strange yellow eyes looked back at him amidst complete darkness. His eyes widened as he registered what he was seeing. His nose flared as he looked around him and down at himself, but nothing seemed amiss. He looked back at the strange object, but it was merely as it had presented himself, a oval shape covered in a grey cloth. Nothing with piercing yellow eyes in sight... He took a deep breath, looking back up at Alexis, who had by now found herself stacked several chairs high, her eyes wide in amazement and awe.

"This...is incredible..." she muttered as everything came into view. Sitting above the mists it was as if everything had cleared itself in front of her. There were shapes moving about, the mists itself moving in the directions of those that moved into it. There were strange objects and beings all about.

From where she sat Alexis could two figures, one looked perfectly normal, but its companion was short...child-like but... inhuman? She squinted her eyes trying to get a better look, was it covered in scales?

Beyond them, far away from either of them she could see a huge figure hulking about, seemingly minding its own business. A person off in the distance standing on the edge of the mists, but then seemingly convinced it should stay, simply turning around. The Mists themselves were alive it seemed... Nothing seemed to stay the same either, something would spark into existence, immediately followed by something else disappearing into nothingness. And was that the train? It looked like it. And there were people roaming and making their way through the Mists...

And...and... And suddenly she remebered what she had been doing before, the trance watching the mists had over her gone. She let out a surprised yelp "Oxe! Are you ok?" She called down, wringing her hands. Her eyes were wide "Excuse me, chairs? May I please go back down to my friends now?" She asked politely, a hint of fear in her voice.

Oxe looked up, frowning deeply. Something happened but what? Her eyes seemed to be searching for something, but he couldn't figure out what would startle her so much... She must have been seing something he didn't which worried him greatly. He nodded at her, to give Alexis some reassurance, and though she smiled back it seemed nervous, she was suddenly very worried about something.

His eyes were beginning to adjust to the darkness. He could see the shimmering blood, and was that where it was coming from? He could see it, a gap he could probably get through. His eyes widened, it was freedom. But then there was a sound.

It echoed through his ears, but it was different than the laughing he could hear before, it seemed to encompass him, it was creaking, and then suddenly a sharp pain. And then his eyes widened even more, this time in pain.

Aaaaugh." the shout was loud and guttural as his eyes welled up with tears. He clenched his jaws, closing his eyes as he tried to take deep breaths, each movement just exacerbating the pain more. He didn't want to look at his new wound. He didn't want to move.

He could feel his heart racing, he was beginning to shake, he didn't know if was from pain or panicking. Did he dare take it out? Or did he try to escape with it still in him.

He was having trouble concentrating, the sharp, throbbing pain in his abdomen was all he could focus on. Even the sound of the familiar cackling seemed distant...

He gritted his teeth. Come on, you've been in pain before, you can do this... But he couldn't remember feeling this trapped.... He gritted his teeth, leaving it in could cause it to get stuck on something... It would be harder to move, it needed to come out, if it got caught on anything while still inside him...

He held back sobs as he very carefully moved to his side, trying to steady himself. He bit into his arm, ignoring the dusty taste of his jacket sleeve as his free hand gripped the piece of metal lodged inside of him. He took a few steadying breaths stealing himself for the pain he was expecting as he pulled on the piece of metal, hard and steady trying to keep it a swift fluid motion.

She looked at the woman’s hand and took it, offering her a smile. ”I’m Alexis, and that’s Oxe, he’ll be glad to meet you.” She said brightly, though she wasn’t actually so sure of that.

As they neared the table Alexis' eyes widened in surprise as the chairs began to fly around. She felt on nudge her from behind, giggling as she fell easily into it. Oxe, unfortunately, seemed to have issues. The tall man had merely been knocked over. She had a look of concern on her face, but she couldn't help but laugh more as the chair seemed to parade around the table.

"A...are you ok, Ze?" she asked between fits of laughter.

Oxe's eyes narrowed as the chair assaulted him. He glanced at Alexis, his nose flairing. He wanted to get her off of the dancing, acrobatic chair, but the chair that had tried to, and failed, to get him to sit on continued to attack him He could feel bruises begin to form as the hard plastic hit against him.

He groaned a bit, trying to grab hold of the chair while taking in the situation. Alexis was being carried around by the strange, moving chairs, while the woman she had brought with her had mostly settled, just moving in a seemingly rhythmic pattern.

Cups swirled around the table and all Oxe could do was grab hold of the chair to try and get it to stop. He could only assume that the only way to get it to do so was to sit on it, but the chair seemed unable to realize he couldn't do that if it kept attacking him. He glared at the chair, pointing at himself, and then at it, as if to tell the thing 'alright, I'll sit.', hoping it would work.

Meanwhile Alexis' chair was now moving up and around the table, spinning around in dizzying, but exciting circles, holding onto the chair so she wouldn't fall.

Train... voices... Misery Hounds. Those were his choices. For now he preferred the voices above.

Someone had answered his call for help. And called him 'sir'. What sort of monstrosity would niceities in a time like this? Ignatus took a deep breath, perhaps who or whatever was on the other side of this train (or rather on the inside of this train) would be easy enough to deal with once he was out of here. Unless they use this opportunity to do something to me.... This thought seemed to resound inside his mind heavily. He was completely stuck under here. He could do nothing if whoever had answered him intended to attack him instead. Why did you call for help? But he hadn't meant to, it was involuntary.

And then there was a scream,a nd something warm and wet seemed to trickle down to where he had been stuck. Ignatus could feel his heart pounding is chest. Was that his blood? No... he hadn't been cut up enough for this. Was it... his eyes widened behind his glasses. The familiar cackling was still audible, had it gotten closer? Were the hounds in the train above him? Had they gotten to whoever had answered him.

They were so close now, weren't they? He could picture the garrish pathwork dogs tearing the flesh off some faceless figure above. But if felt different. None had gone after him yet. Surely they would hear his breathing, would have heard him shout, would have smelled him. It was only when a new voice spoke out and the voice that had answered him spoke once again that Ignatus realized whatever had happened was not related to the Misery Hounds. The blood was from something else. Ignatus tried to calm down some, taking a few deep breaths. Wait.... Almost as if being hit by a ton of bricks (but far less painful) Ignatus realized that the blood was coming down. There had to be some sort of opening somewhere, but where?

He seemed completely ok with running his hands through a stranger's blood, trying to follow the trail to somehwere, anywhere other than trapped in here. An opening, perhaps, or a simple crack in the walls that pinned him down, but the blood fell from somewhere and managed to land near him. "Where are you coming from?" he muttered under his breath.

Though his face was concealed, his eyes were clearly relieved when he head shouting, a thud, and then the sudden silence that followed. The singing had stopped and Oxe seemed to relax a bit from it.

He could hear Alexis above him laugh, and he couldn't help but follow suit. But then his eyes wandered again towards...something hidden in the mists. His eyes narrowed, wondeing what it could be. He had been about to walk towards it when a voice from behind called to them.

Oxe turned to face the the girl as Alexis tapped his shoulder. "I'll talk to her!" She said brightly, clamboring off his shoulders to talk to the her.

"Yes, we were both on the train, we didn't know if there were any others." Alexis said, running up to her. "We have no idea what had happened to it." She said biting her lip. She glanced back towards Oxe who glanced back at her as if in reassurace.

Oxe's mouth twitched slightly, eyeing the two of them for a moment before moving towards the object he had seen.

He approached it carefully, his brow knitting in the middle as he realized what it was. A table, on top of it a tea pot sitting perfectly in the middle, and there seemed to be a hint of steam pouring from its spout. The round teapot was surrounded by five plain cups sitting upside down, completely surrounding the teapot. They appeared to all be the same distance away. It looked as if someone had set up a garden tea party in the middle of the mists. He then noticed the chairs stacked neatly behind the table, as if whoever set it up expected their guests to get their own chairs...

Oxe walked around the table, inspecting the table carefully, his hand almost absently reaching out to pick up one of the grey yunomi cups. He hestitated for a moment, turning to look over towards Alexis and the other girl, wondering if he should call Alexis over. Oxe's free hand rubbed his mouth as his other hand was hovering over the upside down cup nearest him before wrapping his hand around it gently to get a closer look at it.

They had been chasing him. He had hoped beyond hope that the train would provide the smallest of havens, just to get him away from them. But Ignatus Buford the 3rd knew better. The sound of the metal crunching around him as he lay stuck under the train was loud, but not nearly as terrifying as the cackling the rang in his ears, could htey get to him under here? Probably...but if not them, then the train itself would kill him.

The beasts brought back vague memories but what they were he couldn't recall. Anyway this wasn't the time for that. I think...

Ignatus swallowed the fear gnawing away at him. The metal crunching around him, or them. And then a voice. What was it? Would... Ignatus closed his eyes trying to concentrate, the fear building back up. His eyes flew open, feeling for the familiar pieces of cool plastic, cluching them tightly. What could he do.. Should he answer them? He swallowed, taking a deep breath. Beasts... train...voices...

Could the voices help? Maybe, if only temporarily. He closed his eyes, the cackling echoing through his ears as another wave of horror ran through his body. He pushed at the walls surrounding him. They were walls, right? some sort of enclosed space keeping him pinned under the tain. And as he heard it creak again his mouth flew open and he heard a voice call out "Help!" It wasn't the voice above, but his own. Why would he call attention to himself? He didn't know what that voice was...

But cackling of the beasts and the creaking metal were his answers...

Letting out a soft sounding yawn as Alexis rested her chin on top of Oxe's head. She couldn't see anything past the fog, so she kept her eyes closed as Oxe continued walking at his steady pace. The ride was smooth and oddly relaxing. She ran her fingers through his hair absently.

"Where do you think we are?" She murmured, her voice soft almost sleepy. She could feel Oxe's head move to look at her, though the angle made it impossible. But his eyes said everything. He wasn't sure, he had no guesses.

He could hear th singing, it was off tune and terribly loud. How Alexis didn't find it annoying he didn't know. He ran a hand over his face, resting on his mouth tucked underneath his scarf. He let out a stream of air from his nose as his eyes looked around.

He could feel familiar small fingers run through his hair, and it seemed to reassure him, at least a little. His eyes narrowed slightly. It was hard to hear much else over the incessant sinigng.

"Relax, it's not that bad." Alexis mumbled, kissing the top of Oxe's head, but it was clear he vehemently disagreed. And it seemed to be getting closer. She wasnt't nearly as worried as Oxe seemed to be.
