The fight had gone underway as Kenji had expected. Yuudai, Metou and Jiang were the first to fight the large, expressionless men, landing blows that are deadly to the normal man but simply an annoyance to the horned henchmen. Since that was the case, it was only obvious to target their legs. Meanwhile, Takumi explained that the smiling woman was from the Empire and not at all a local. She seemed to know about the group's mission and is intent on stopping it. Kenji figured the thieves did not want anyone on their tails but the woman adversary seem to know more about the group than the group did. That warranted questions.

Kenji wanted to help out but his large sword might hit an ally or be an extra burden to them. An opening would be quite nice for him. Yet no opening appeared but he did see the smiling woman pick up a rock while keeping a hard gaze at Yuudai. Kenji could tell the Zhuni was planning something and quickly threw himself between Yuudai and the Zhuni, drawing his giant blade.

The rock was simply thrown but with the force similar to a cannon ball's. Kenji brought up his blade's broad side and focused much magic into it. The energized giant sword deflected the powerful rock skyward but knocked Kenji into the ground like he was slammed into it. "Urg...!" One thing was for sure, blocking that rock was painful.
Well if her back story is flexible, I'm thinking a (hot) witch could summon her as a familiar and the two could go on adventures while avoiding hit men after the witch's head.
Sorry... I'm not interested in war role plays... Thank you for the offer though.

Do you have any other ideas?

@PaulHaynek

You're not going to participate in the war though. In fact, you will have to avoid it as much as possible.

But if your answer's the same then let me think of another premise.
I be interested in the HeroXDemon King one but if you wish, I'm down with the SorcererXRoyalty one.
Taps, taps, taps as far as the eye could see...

Anyway, would you be interested in an experimental RP I want to try out. Basically, a Japanese youkai being requested to deliver something in the middle of World War 2.
Kitties? That is just one kitty!

Hehe, anyway I'm (kind of?) interested.
The party had reached the entrance to the path but unfortunately they were blocked by four muscular men who all had heights comparable to Yuudai's and wore seemingly random pieces of colorful clothing. Their faces were as blank as unwritten paper and sticking out of each of their temples was a triangular object seemingly made out of a bone like substance. In the middle of them was a young woman with two short swords at her side and clothing more common in lands outside of Baji. Despite her smiling face, she only invited intimidation. Her posse of men not helping at all.

Like Takumi had predicted, she was clearly expecting the fellowship and seemed intent on stopping them if her drawing her swords suggested anything. Yuudai was the first to speak to the woman while Kenji turned to the guide who looked like he had his soul scared out of him.

"If she is involved, you may want to consider just quitting this journey now. I've seen her in Naji lands before, and she isn't someone you want to mess with."
Takumi

"You know of her, Mister Takumi?" Kenji inquired. He already knew the answer and he already knew this was going to be a problem, he just wanted Takumi to elaborate.

A fight was coming up, that was certain. However, Kenji was not certain if the fellowship was going to be the winner if Takumi's reaction was anything to go by. "I guess Yuudai was right after all..." Kenji muttered as he grabbed the hilt of his giant sword, ready to unsheathe it.
I wonder why Jiang didn't ask Kenji to look after Takumi. Mah boi Kenny is more than happy to stay behind since he's the medic and all.
@PaulHaynek funnily enough, she doesn't want to live forever, she just wants to control when she dies. and she also doesn't really want to fight, but is capable of doing so.

Well those are just Cage's thoughts anyhow.
@PaulHaynek I believe that edit was from a few days ago, before you posted, maybe?

Oh. If so, I'm a wait for either RyuShura or AgentFallenSoul to advance Sings and Miharu's story.
