With the offer of company rejected, Yuudai walked away which turned into a bolt out of Ru village, jumping over the walls in a single bound. "Whoa." Kenji was still a bit flustered with what Yuudai earlier but now he was simply impressed. Deciding to heed her words, Kenji headed for the inn though he was not sure what inn they were supposed to stay in while in Ru.

"Ahem!"

Kenji turned to the food vendor, an unamused expression plastered on his face. "I don't give food for free, you know?" The Yang could only make a half-hearted laugh.

"Err..."

-----

Budget cut in half, Kenji wandered through Ru hoping to either get a lead on an objective or at least meet up with a party member. Soon the Yang found Jiang and Takumi standing in front of an inn. With some words given, the guide left Jiang on his own almost as if he wanted to get away. Kenji approached Takumi as kindred spirits in being separated from their partners, albeit with opposing circumstances. "Mister Takumi. If I didn't know better, you wanted to get away from Jiang." He greeted, not loud enough for Jiang to hear.

"What's up with the inn by the way?"
Sir Sings-A-Lot finally reached the town, with no idea on the condition of his baggage, just that he needed to find aid quickly. "Help! Help! I've injured and she is in critical condition! Please, can anyone point me to the nearest apothecary or something?" He yelled at the present townspeople. Hopefully they won't ask any questions and just help straight away.

There was also the two immobilized people back in the forest and one of them also needed dire aid. Sings' night was certainly going to be long.
With the door now fully opened, an empty hall greeted me. The place's dim but there's enough light for me to see, and I see a book or journal laying open on the floor. It looked like it was dropped. I slowly approach the discarded item, watching if this was a trap or something. Nothing happened when I reach the fallen book though and I crouch down to read the page exposed. Maybe it holds some answer as to why or how I got here.

"..."

So I WAS kidnapped! Doesn't say here by who though but I know for sure now this was a kidnapping for a surely nefarious purpose. This was not the place nor the time to read all of the journal entries so I pick it up and get moving. I don't know where I am nor where I am going to but I know it's better than staying put and waiting for my captors to show up. Though then again, I could have overpowered my kidnappers and force them to get me out of here but Fights always told me not to underestimate enemies.

Wandering around some more, I noticed the place lacked guards. Shouldn't kidnappers keep an eye on their kidnapees? Maybe they were pretty confident I'm not escaping this place if I attempt to do so.

"Huh?"

Soon I reach a place that seems... heart-easing. A beautiful garden with flowers of vibrant and varying colors. I was struck with awe. It was hard to think that my evil kidnappers could own and maintain such a garden.

But that's stereotyping and Fights also told me not to do that.
"Hnnn..." My body began stirring. What happened? All I remember I was going to check up on Sir Plants-A-Lot in the castle garden and then... and then... blackness. Am I dead? Or did I get kidnapped? Maybe I got kidnapped and killed? I open my eyes and look around to know the answer. "Agh..." Pain rushed into my head. It was either from the incapacitating blow that struck me or I quickly looked around after I had only woken up. Probably both.

Taking a more slow look, I seem to be in a guest room of sorts. I wonder who took me here. If I was kidnapped, shouldn't I be in a cell or something? I get up and dust off my apparel. Again, if I was kidnapped, shouldn't I be stripped of my weapons and armor? Just what is going on here? Well whatever's happening, I need to get out of here but I need to be careful. Drawing my sword, I approach a door in the room and slowly opened it.

A lot of mysteries float but hopefully one of them is answered beyond this door.

"Haa... Haa..." A knight, wearing an apron over his armor, with a unique helmet covering his face, scrambled into the office of the Lot Order's leader. "Thinks! THINKS!" He yelled, startling a person up from his desk.

"What is it, Plants?!" A knight, wearing light gray armor under gray robes with a hood covering his face, quickly inquired.

"The Queen... Lizzie... She's gone!"

Thinks was silent for a moment as all color drained from his body. "Sound an emergency meeting! Now!" He regained his composure and issued an order. Sir Plants nodded and dashed away. All the knights should be assembled in five minutes in an emergency meeting. Ten if they're not inside the castle. A loud gong was heard signalling the meeting. Thinks got up from his desk and left his office.

As he walked towards the throne room, he began to do what he does best. Think. Think of who could have kidnapped the Queen, how she was kidnapped and more importantly, why she was kidnapped.
Yeah go for it Im gunna try and jump start this RP again, sorry for not posting!

Uuukay.
@PaulHaynek

Is it alright if we start right after the kidnapping and have them flash back to right before it happened or something similar?

Sure!
Kenji quietly listened to everything Yuudai had to say but she certainly did not help the Yang's conscience, in fact the opposite. Then, Yuudai mentioned she forgot something in the forest where they fought the Ki Witch's daughter. The half-Oni stood from her seat and peered at the darkening sky.

"I will make sure to be back before night. Without anyone else it is a simple run."
Yuudai

Before Yuudai could leave, Kenji placed a hand on her shoulder to stop her. "And leave me hanging? How cold of you, Miss... er... Yuudai." He said. "Let me come with you. Leisurely strolls... er, jogs... in the night is best spent with a companion yes?"

However, if Yuudai refuses, Kenji would let out a sad sigh. "Well, if you insist. I'll wait for you here then."
You and GM (I think, maybe Paul can just post again and get to town..bump into us so we can regroup). ^-^

If the GM permits me to do so, I guess.
Dude... Not cool ;o; Now he won't be in your harem, Kitsune!

Is that good or bad?
"Do I really feel like the type of person to do that?"
Yuudai

The words. The tone. Kenji messed up and he knew that. "Ah! No... What I mean is..." The Yang sighed. There was no salvaging the situation. "I have no excuse. Please forgive me, Miss Wakahisa." With the bowl served to him, Kenji wanted to dunk his head into his soupy meal and drown.

Some moments passed with the two enjoying their meals, at least one of them. Kenji was still a bit guilty about what he had said but he knew that nothing good will come out of brooding over it and so tried to get his mind off of it. The rift of silence between him and Yuudai was not helping that. He needed a new subject to talk about. "Miss Wakahisa, you are the adoptive child of the Legendary Youkai Mystic Kyuki Wakahisa, yes?" He asked knowing fully what the answer was.

"How lucky. To be family with a person who has legends surrounding her. You are likely to be in the pages of history because of that. And if we are successful, you're place in history would be assured." Kenji said. "Now that I think about it, it would make for a good story."

"Yuudai Wakahisa. The child of the Legendary Kyuki Wakahisa, travels across Baji to save Shima, her home, and the rest of the Isles." Kenji continued, not knowing that announcing their mission in public was a bad idea.
