Plot Magnet is meant to be a supernatural character themeselves, actually. ^^; Just... probably not particularly trained, and definitely not aware of the wider supernatural world.

A totally mundane Plot Magnet character would be in a very, very bad position in a battle to the death between magi.

Senran Kagura: Dark Progeny

"We've been at war with the yoma for God knows when. Lots of sacrifices for absolute jack. We need something more efficient. Having these shinobis duke it out while simultaneously fighting the damn monsters is an outdated system way past its prime. We have technology, ladies and gentlemen, and with the right research, we can end this war once and for all. The road, however, won't be painless. Hell, it won't even be ethical. Probably violating every single item in the Human Rights book. But think about how many lives we'll save in the long run."

Welcome to Senran Kagura: Dark Progeny. Set in the world of Senran Kagura (and by definition Valkyrie Drive), more particularly a newly-opened artificial island west of Japan. The island is built to suit all sorts of recreational needs and wants of humanity. From high-octane rollercoasters in the amusement parks to the buzzing of slot machines in the casinos. The island was going to be Las Vegas times five and money was projected to be spent in the trillions.

The students of Hanzo National Academy, Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy and Gessen Girls' Academy as well as the renegades of Homura Crimson Squad have all decided to take their vacations in this recreational island. Knowing very little about what was going to go down in the island.

But who could blame them? They, nor their upper-classmen, nor their teachers, nor their superiors knew about the deepest parts of the shinobi world. And the worst part? It hides in plain sight.
