Thanks for the interest ! I'll add in a form and some more information. With some more interest, I shall create a thread
I like your idea for her! She would fit fine :)
I was leaning toward mid-late teens and perhaps older can fit in spots. I didn't intend on allowing crazy skills especially since when you first arrive you don't really know how to control your power very well
Deep within the middle of no where in a classified area of the United States lies an academy unknown to most of the world. Its students are nothing like you can ever imagine. They possess qualities no other students in the world will ever possess. TV shows, comics, and movies all portray the idea of having superhuman abilities as a gift. Those who have them are regarded as "heroes" and "villains." In real life, regardless of what damsel in distress you help or what mayor you save, you're a villain. Traces of the X21 gene began surfacing in 1970. Dozens of unexplained occurrences began appearing in the news. Children everywhere were seen doing things no one could exactly explain. The government soon got to the bottom of it. All news being reported on any of these happenings were to be destroyed, all newspapers, any TV reportings... Everything. They didn't understand why certain children could do these extravagant things. They didn't want to understand and they sure didn't want the country to know about these freaks of nature. These children were dangerous. In the sneakiest of ways, most of these kids were annihilated. They made their deaths look like accidents and no one questioned a thing. Those who weren't were taken into labs and experimented on inhumanely to find more about these strange abilities. It was eventually concluded these mutants were not classified as humans and leaving them alive and in public could endanger the human species. It was for the good of society that a secret military force called the X force would be made to quickly find and dispose of these mutants before anyone could find out about their abilities. A select few people felt differently about these mutants. They felt that it was not their fault they had these abilities and could be taught to conceal them and control them. Thus, a secret academy was created in 1990 in an unnamed location in the woodland area. Their goal was to find people with these abilities before the X force did and bring them to their school for protection and to teach them to control and conceal their abilities so that they could safely live their lives in public. They found that the gene was inactive until a mutant's mid-teens at the least. Currently, in 2015, the ages of the students have ranged from 14-24. A student's normal education continues here along with the ability training however a student will remain longer if he or she cannot master his or her ability. Many remain in the school as faculty to ensure a safe life. Those who master their ability and the ability to conceal it are allowed to live on the outside, knowing very well if it was to be used at the wrong place and time that the X force would detect it and come to annihilate them. However, there are always those who feel they shouldn't have to hide anything... There have been some students lately who feel wronged by the treatment of the government and even this school. They feel that they should be allowed to embrace who they are and use their powers freely and that if society were to know of their existence, they might even be accepted. These ideas tend to spiral down a dark path for some students. ABILITIES: These range from mind-oriented abilities to even elemental abilities. What seemed impossible can be possible. Telekinesis, mind-reading, telepathy, even shape-shifting... All suddenly possible. Elemental abilities such as manipulating the fire, the light or the wind are also possible. However, most people need to have the essence at hand to use it and it is not easy to control at all. There have been rare instances of people sprouting wings from their back or other animal-like qualities but these people are often quickly terminated due to being easy to notice. No one knows why this is all possible. The government permitted very limited research as to maintain very little interest in the mutants. The goal is eradication, after all. FORM: Name: Nickname: Gender: Age(Most people don't know they have the mutant gene until their teen years. However if you insist on being that one really young kid I won't mind): Brief Personality: Ability: Limits to Ability: Age admitted into Riverwood: Background: Appearance: Other: Anyone find this interesting ? :)

Adaline was convinced she was either dreaming or drugged up. Had someone slipped something in her drink last night? Nothing was making any sense. Where had the ice came from? Sirens sounded through the air as teens evacuated the parking lot. She had never been so confused in her life. Well, there was the time she found her cousin running through the streets in a clown suit screaming in some foreign language but that story's for a different time.

The boy she had met at the party and some other guy didn't waste their time leaving. Adaline wasn't particularly surprised. People tended to evacuate as if there was a storm coming when the cops showed up. Knowing fully well she had not done anything wrong, Adaline didn't care. She shook her head and knelt down to the girl who had collapsed earlier. She could recall hearing somewhere that her name was Arina. Adaline reached her hand down to her, "Hey come on. Let's get away from the smoke before I faint too." She helped her up if she did accept the hand and led her away from the car. (Is that alright? Let me know if it's not!)

She glanced over her shoulder to see the two that were in the car having a moment and smiled. Though she had no idea how the hell she had made ice form out of thin air, she was happy she had done something that helped save lives. It made her feel like a hero.

The police soon arrived and began questioning everyone. After about a half hour, they were allowed to leave. Adaline was set on going to her dorm and taking a long nap until she felt less sick. Then maybe she'd try to comprehend what the hell had happened.

Hunter spun his key chain around his finger as he made his way over to the parking lot. He halted as the sight of smoke billowing into the sky caught his eye. Hastily, he began running over as the bright red, dancing flames came into view. He ran into two guys shadily making their way away from the parking lot and made note of them. Mike and Floyd. His eyes narrowed as he examined the sight before him. A number of cars were up in flames and the police were now talking to everyone.
One of them was his.

Fury filled him but he kept a calm exterior. He'd blow up their cars next and perhaps worse than that. It had took him weeks to get enough money to buy that car. He inhaled deeply and turned and began making his ways towards the dormitories where Mike and Floyd were heading to.

It was time to pay them a visit.

Adaline wondered why she had thought it had been a good idea to attend a party without any friends. It certainly hadn't been her type of crowd either. For a good half hour, she had sat on the couch in white floral dress, watching a bunch of drunk idiots scramble around the room like an insect nest. Dense smoke billowed throughout the room, making breathing a bit less easier than normal. She waved it out of her face with a grimace, choking. She had never been to a party like this before and she wasn't sure she wanted to come to any more. It sucked. Everyone else was probably too drunk or stoned to realize it. Perhaps that was the point. With a sigh, she finally stood up. There was no reason to sit around, bored out of her mind. She was at a party after all. As stupid as everyone else looked, they were at least having fun. She wandered through sweaty, dancing teenagers in hopes of finding someone to talk to. Everyone seemed too stoned to hold a conversation. Adaline felt awkward approaching people anyway.

"You look like you need a drink, freshman." Adaline turned to find a dark-haired boy smirking at her, his blue eyes full of amusement. She hadn't seen him before today. He was definitely at least a foot taller than her. She thought he looked like he had walked out of a Abercrombie magazine or something. He seemed like the type that was attractive and knew it better than anyone.

"Is it that obvious?" She asked with a slight smile.

He chuckled and said, "Pretty much. Everyone's been saying you look like Alice in Wonderland. You've been walking around aimlessly for the past ten minutes."

Great. She must have seemed like a complete idiot. "Oh.. Uh I was... I was looking for my friend." She explained quickly. That seemed less awkward at least.

"Yeah sure."The tall boy grabbed a beer and popped it open. "YOLO, kid, "he told her, handing it to her. "Name's Hunter. Try to have a good time. "

Girls like her didn't belong in places like these. He wondered why she even bothered coming. It wasn't that he cared much that the girl had looked bored out of mind. Hunter liked making sure as many people knew him as possible. The more people fond of him, the more he could get away with. He took his place back on the couch, wrapping his arm around the drunk chick he been previously making out with and continuing. He knew the other girls were watching with jealousy. It was fun to let them think he might be in a relationship or something along the lines of one. It got people talking. He had been here two years already and most knew who he was. Though quiet, he was rather popular amongst the ladies for his good looks and mysterious attitude. People were easy to Hunter, teenagers especially. There were a couple types and they all followed similar thought patterns. All it took was a little charisma to gain some trust.

Adaline meanwhile found herself drinking the beer out of sheer boredom. It didn't taste that great but she was enjoying the sensation She found she couldn't remember much of the rest of the night but she did recall giving some random dude her number for some reason.

She woke up on a couch as sunshine peeked through the blinds that morning. She slowly sat up, feeling extremely dizzy and disoriented. Glancing in the mirror, she found her braided brown hair was no longer braided and was just a complete mess. Adaline groaned and combed her fingers through her hair in an attempt to fix it a little. She stood up on wobbly legs, glancing around her. There were sleeping teens all over the place. Why had no one went home? The room had become too stuffy to breathe in and she was starting to feel nausea kick in. Carefully, she stepped over people and walked outside to get some air. She walked down a street, paying more attention to the sunrise than where she was actually going.

The sounds of an explosion made Adaline pause and look forward. Someone was screaming the words "holy shit" as fire engulfed three cars in a parking lot. "What the hell?"She muttered. She felt like she was in a Michael Bay movie. She made her way over to the parking lot, the sound of roaring flames and panicking teens becoming louder and louder. She recognized one of the guys from earlier on at the party. "What did you guys do!?" She called to him.

Thanks! Haha hopefully friends but both do seem like they'd get in a fight if one of them said something that ticked the other off.

Personality: Depending on the situation, Adaline can leave the impression of either the nicest person or the most stubborn person you've ever met. Despite being quite the introvert, she can be caring and kind to those she cares for. Meeting new people has always been a struggle for her as she tends to be too shy to start up a conversation. She is the type to open up the more she gets to know people. It takes time to earn her trust. Those who do get to know her learn fast that she's very stubborn and very sarcastic. She is bull-headed and nothing will change her mind once she's set on something. Her temper can be struck easily despite her kind nature. Adaline is not very patient and will do things without thinking sometimes. She's reckless and has to remind herself to stop and think often. She's frighteningly brave to the point that she could easily endanger herself. Not many things seem to scare her.

History: Adaline learned the hard way that she could never fully trust anyone. Her own mother told her from young that her father had passed on after he left them. It was not until he returned years later and she recognized him that she knew her mother had lied to her. The woman hadn't been quite reliable growing up. She was always drinking away her loneliness and sorrows. She had assumed it was due to her father being "dead." Adaline never asked. There was not much interest in taking care of Adaline. She was forced to fend for herself often and became significantly independent. Her father returned shortly before she departed to college, stirring up confusion throughout the entire family. He answered no questions to where he had been and why. Her mother would not answer why she had lied either.

Power: Ice Manipulation: she can manipulate water into ice in forms or even create it herself and manipulate it offensively

Personality: Hunter is seemingly very mysterious. He doesn't give much information about himself to anyone yet can easily get people to like him. Charming and charismatic, he's known to be flirty when he wants to be. Hunter's a natural born leader and can sway people with words. He may act sweet but his own interest is himself. He's very arrogant and smug in reality. Even with a very high temper, he tends to hide his emotions and put on a cool, collected demeanor. It is not very apparent but he is not quite right in the head. He can be cruel and manipulative. He tends to have malicious intents against people. Hunter's extraordinarily cunning and deceiving. He will do ANYTHING it takes to get what he wants.

History: Hunter was adopted as a young child after his parents got sent to jail for murder. He was adopted by a seemingly kind family. They didn't click well so to say. They found him at the age of twelve outside his house, crying hysterically as fire engulfed the house behind, along with his adoptive family. It was back to the orphanage from there. However, he disappeared one day. It was clear he had run away. It's uncertain how he got into a college or even paid for it. The authorities gave up trying to find out as his answer was always "I earned it." There was no evidence to prove otherwise.
