"If you wouldn't mind I would like to stay."Emma said, "I haven't found people in a long time and even though I don't fully trust you two I don't want to just walk away from this. " She listened to Tim's suggestion, fiddling with her braid. She didn't really have a particular place. Sure, she had a few places she came back to once in awhile but she was mostly nomadic. She hauled her bag over in front of her and took out a can or two of food. She pushed it toward Tim. "I heard you say you were hungry before. I have about six or seven I believe right now, and some crackers."

Emma then turned to Dean. "I promise I won't be any trouble and I'll help with supplies as much as you need me to. "
hi
Emma sat down the same way, setting her backpack by her side, holding on to it tightly. She didn't necessarily trust them. It was very hard to make her trust someone. However she felt comfortable with them at least. "I'll say a little."She replied. She swallowed hard. There wasn't one time when she had ever told anyone anything about herself or her life. " My name's Emma. I've been on my own since I was around nine or ten. Umm... I have some experience with the infected monster-things but I can't hold my own with the REALLY huge ones that well and I usually run for it instead of trying to fight it. I did kill one once though! I haven't talked to people in at least two years except for a couple of guys chasing me down the street for some reason I don't even know. My birthday's in a couple of days and I really like tomato soup with crackers." Emma scratched her head after that little explanation. Maybe she wasn't the best story teller. If it was a life story he wanted, it was not what he was going to get. She tried not to think about life with her parents and brother. It had been very traumatizing watching them die and she did not want to talk about it.

"Oh! I forgot to mention."She wasn't sure telling them this was such a good idea. Emma hoped they truly weren't malicious people. "I have asthma."She pulled over her blue, dirt-stained backpack and rummaged through it. She took out an inhaler. "It hasn't been giving me problems lately but I guess you never know. I took whatever medicine I had left and I've been using it sparingly. I have quite enough right now but I find any more of it so there's a chance my days are numbered if I happen to run out of medicine and have an attack. "She explained. "I haven't had one in years but can't say it's impossible."

Terry watched as a girl came up to her and she smirked. "Yep. Their inaction sure does."She said with a laugh. "Hey Rach. I'm Terry. " A quick glance at the rising sun told her time was ticking and she needed to find a good smuggler. "Listen I gotta find someone. Kinda about to do something crazy so if you're into that kind of thing you're welcome to come." She could remember her brother telling her about a smuggler and where a lot of people went when they wanted something from him. Terry racked her mind for a memory of where it was and managed to think of a general location. "I'll explain later." She said quickly and began walking off in the direction. It was some sort of headquarters where tons of people all squeezed inside. If only she knew what he looked like. Hopefully he'd stick out.

Many people would just shoot all of them. That wasn't exactly Tobias's style. Recklessly just shooting anyone was cruel. He preferred to spare lives if possible whenever he could. That doesn't mean if he saw someone killing people he wouldn't shoot him.Toby would not hesitate when the situation called for it but this time all he wanted was a horse.
He knelt down behind a prickly, dead bush and began scoping out the area. His gaze fixated on broken half of a beer bottle. Slowly, he reached for it and then got to his feet. He chucked it as hard as he could somewhere down the hill and knelt down again. He peered through the thicket, watching as the men stood up and all but one abandoned their fire and ran toward the noise. Toby got up and wasted no time. He sprinted down, hitting the one guy with the hilt of his gun.

"Hey!"He yelled in surprise, unfortunately dragging the attention of the other men. They glanced over and quickly began running back, realizing their idiotic mistake.
Toby smiled at him. "See ya."He wacked him again, rendering him unconscious. Tobias saw a little bag near the horse that seemed to carry its food. He grabbed it then hopped on the horse just as the men were coming back. He gave it a gentle kick and it began galloping away. A chorus of yells and bullets being fired filled his ears as he held on tightly to the rain, urging the horse faster. He could feel the bullets whizzing past him, barely grazing his face with a rush of air.

"Sure! Thanks for inviting me."Emma said. She knew he didn't trust her. Emma suspected her cheerful demeanor made him suspicious but in all honesty she couldn't help feeling absolutely relieved to see people again. At this point, she didn't care if she got killed. There wasn't much to live for anyway. She just wanted some company after years of solitude. Her heart ached as memories of her family came back to haunt her. No. Emma didn't want to relive that moment again. She took a deep breath and pushed it out of her mind. It was then she realized she was wasting time standing around. Glancing behind her, it seemed she wasn't the only one with a heavy heart. She had looked in time to see Timothy wiping his eyes. She let him march past her, quietly singing an all too familiar song. Emma joined him and took his hand comfortingly. She gave him a faint smile, "You don't have to be ashamed of crying. I think everyone alive in this world has lost someone important to them. It doesn't make you any less stronger. " She let go and followed Dean up into his house. "You know my dad always used to sing that song. He was a big fan of it. Guess it never gets old, huh?"
