I made the PM myself. Check PMs fellow Russians.
Let's do it, then. Invite Mihn too.

I wasn't aware that you had claimed the Russian royal family. I would love to work something out so we can both be happy. I did try to limit the history to my own region but I did wright a few events that I thought were likely to happen. Like Russia selling weapons and refugees from ottomans which which did happen. If you have anything you really don't like message me and also include things that will effect both of us.

I'm still stuck on a phone but I can try to answer any questions through a PM. I'd prefer you PMd me though cause my connection on this phone is spotty.
I do take issue with how you've more or less written the history of Russia instead of just your region. Since I'm playing a direct continuation of imperial Russia, I do feel like I have more or less reserved the right to determine the fate of the royal family and the details pertaining to Russia in the years leading to the fall of the Czar.

That's not to say I wouldn't allow a counter-monarchy, but I don't like how much liberty you took writing about the royal family, among other things, since I consider that to have been reserved by me.

Or he lives and you have a sort of Baldwin IV style sickly monarch.

If he lived he'd be the tsar that gets dunked on by the Finns, since his dad was already 50 by 1918. So he'd be dead anyway, probably. Either way, we end up with Nick II's grandson as the current monarch.

I do plan on making things kinda murky with rumors that the whole family was killed, in case anyone wants to play as a different set of monarchists who challenge the legitimacy of the current tsar. The idea being that the current tsar was injured during the attack and assumed dead for a while, so some people think he's just a fake put in power by imperial generals.

What happened to Alexei?

Probably gonna go with "died young". The life-expectancy for people with his condition was 11 years back then, and by the time he was killed IRL he was 13 so...

I figured that since the likelihood of him surviving is low, I need to come up with a way for a different male heir to have outlived him. Maybe Nicolas has another son, and that son is the czar that is killed.
Still on phone and can't write app. There may be some hope #soon though.

Random fun fact: the leader of my imperial Russia will be Nicolas II's grandson, who never existed obviously cause of the damn commies.

EDIT: Also, Feo and I have been working some stuff out in a PM and came to the agreement that the Baltic states were more or less partitioned. Imperial Russia will own a slice of the Baltic and is no longer just St. Pete and some outlying territories.
I think a union of two nordic states would be fine, as long as the history makes sense. Just not all of the nordic states right off the bat.

Persia is a regional power, recently remilitarised. Armenia is close enough to be in our sphere of influence, surely?

Depends on your history and if Armenia lets itself fall into that sphere. You should probably work that out with Evan.
Great War wasn't fought for decades lel. The Ottomans may have exited early, because IRL their beef during the war was mostly with Russians. They fought the British too but in PoW it's not clear for how long. After the Russians leave, it's likely they then focus their troops elsewhere and crush some of the rebellions and/or focus on the British. By then the British would not be in shape to fight in Anatolia since even IRL they had their fair share of setbacks. The Ottomans probably still got wrecked by rebellions and a long war, but Russia leaving probably helped them a bit.

As for Poland and Persian aid, that's iffy. This is a reboot and in this new canon Poland isn't powerful. The same may be true of Persia.

I'm on a phone and can't bitch to the fullest extent though so Imma just say Armenia stronk and the old canon doesn't matter.
