STATUS: I'm finally getting overdue help for my mental health. This year has been a roller coaster: coworker stole money, lost an aunt, went back to school/been struggling there, and it all hit me this week. 4 yrs ago

Freudian slip of epic proportions. Talking about the penal code and I said another word. Grateful my colleague didn't catch it. I recognized what I said was wrong, but they were oblivious.

Well I am coming back! Needed some time off to deal with a job I didn’t like anymore. Yesterday was my last shift, and I am transferring to a new location where hopefully I’m treated better.

My inner-history buff is speaking and its telling me that I'm in dire need of a semi-historical RP, I have very few rps going. So now that I've established what I'm craving, here are my ground rules/pet-peeves.
-This RP will be causal to advanced
-I play men usually, but I can double as a female in special instances for as long as needed
-I do PMs 95% of the time, but I will do thread if needed. Sorry I don't do email RPs
-I only have two limits when it comes to content: no crazy sex (this is not 50 Shades of Grey) and lets keep gore to a minimal. I'm not here to read a reply where your character eats an internal organ of a person
-I average my posts average two or more paragraphs, but I can type more. I'm very versitile.
-I do think some M content helps the plot move, but that'll be done in PM only
-MxM is strictly platonic
-I think romance can help a plot move along, I'm a proponent of romantic rps (if you want a romantic RP)
-DON'T FLAKE, I hate flakers. Be man (or woman) enough to tell me your done with this RP
-Please talk to me, I like friendly OOCs. I promise I don't bite (I got my rabies vaccine and everything)
Now those have been established some pairings/time periods I'm looking at:
-Ancient Egypt
-Rome's glory days
-Renaissance
-Ancient Greece
-New World Exploration (Marco Polo's exploration adventure included in this group)
-American Revolution
-Native x Explorer, (me playing the latter of this pairing)
-Cannibal x Explorer (this one has a few exceptions to the rules. PM me for more information)
-Colonist x Native
-Pirate x Cannibal
-Pirate x (Whatever you want)
-French and Indian War
-Civil War
-Wild West (really wanted to do this Native x Cowboy, just saying)
-Jungle Book (though there's no historical aspect behind it, I've just been wanting to explore this for awhile)
-Write-In option (PM me your idea)
