Whoops, I will edit that part out later. I swear you mentioned that in one of the IC posts, though.
Sorry if you guys feel I could have done that post better. I've been working on that one for a while now, and that was the best I could come up with. At this point, somehow trainers are now a part of the battle. I could edit it if I missed something important.
Apologies for the delay. Hatakekuro really set me back a bit. Did not expect a human body playing meat shield. Anyways, he certainly saved the day, this time.

Purrloin was so easily defeated, much to the surprise of it's trainer. Panicked, Rowan was preparing to run away, making sure to first ask his teammates. The situation was dire, it was already down to Dwebble versus Kira in a solo match favored against Kira. He saw the odds were low, so he made his decision. He had to get away before Charley could get a chance to swipe their Pokemon. He was the only one prepared to run, though.

@Morose

Charley was sure this was the end. That was, until Kira threw the pokeball into the air. Charley was speechless for a second, did the cat just throw HIS Pokeball? That was the last straw, they were really getting on his nerves. He's been Scratched, Leered twice, and stolen from. How could these trainers possibly think they were any better than him? No time to speak, he had to catch that ball. He ran as fast as he could, this was important to him.

Dwebble on the other hand, was going for the kill. With cold eyes it skittered towards Kira. With deadly accuracy, it struck at it's final opponent. However, no one could have expected what happened next.

@Hatakekuro

Despite Yasha being down his only Pokemon, he still wasn't done here. With quick action, he ran in front of Kira, arms crossed in anticipation of impact. Dwebble was too committed to the attack, claws striking the flesh of the intervening Yasha. Blood splashed from the wound, trailing down his elbows, pooling down into the cracks below him. Dwebble's claws glowed even brighter from the attack, reaching full power.

There was a brief silence as Dwebble had to comprehend what just happened. This left a golden opportunity for Kira to jump around Yasha and use Scratch. Catching Dwebble off guard, she hit deep into it's side.

-Critical Hit-

This caused Dwebble to stumble back, claws embedding into the wood of the bridge to stop it's momentum. It was a lucky break it's Fury Cutter was at full power, or it would have failed to dig in deep enough. What wasn't lucky was that this bug still was able to battle, despite looking hurt. One more push will end up sending it over, an all too true realization for Charley.

With a speech, Yasha continued to lecture Charlie, who stopped running to stare at him. The Pokeball went flying over the edge, quickly forgotten by Charlie. He knew this guy was trouble, yet he felt respect instead. Charley was covered in bruises and torn clothing, while Yasha was bleeding.

He stared at Yasha and said, "You really are something. You just took a hit instead of letting this end. You are the single reason I haven't walked off with your money yet. So who are you, a rival group? I guess now's not the time. Finish that Pokemon with Fury Cutter, I'll take care of the trainer myself." He pointed at Yasha, these trainers were nuts. Usually the trainers sat to the side while he beat their Pokemon down. With fists raised, he ran towards Yasha. All he had to do was make sure Yasha didn't get in the way again.

Dwebble felt pity for hitting a trainer, but he didn't aim for Yasha. Either way, he was told to finish this battle. Claws glowing with the intensity of the sun, he charged for Kira. Perhaps the battle was turning with Yasha jumping in the way, or was it delaying the inevitable?

@hatakekuro
...Did you, did you just...
Did you just take the hit from a second attack of Fury Cutter? I just, wow, alright. Despite what happens next, you are a brave person. No one can take that away from you.

Sam, I might have to promote this Dwebble to the top one percentage. Slap him up there with Champion Joey.
@hatakekuro It's alright to be genuinely confused what to do. It's a bad situation getting worse by the post. You could always board the "Operation Run Away" train Rowan is boarding. Technically, there is no wrong way to respond. Just take a moment, maybe you could come up with a new idea or tactic someone missed.

Sam, love that reference. Sadly, I do not have the power to do that. I would need Ash's Pikachu for that.
Randar Xenil

Randar was a bit distracted by the hustle of the people arriving. Nonetheless, he shook her hand. Farrah seemed nice enough, but she somehow missed the Dissonance? Well, guess it's possible. Small talk wasn't so hard after all. Wait, who did the Dragon belong to? He shook his head, he was supposed to be paying attention to the people around him, not get distracted in conversation. He was prepared to reply to her when an announcement interrupted him.

Thanks to unforeseen circumstances regarding some of the participants, we will jump straing to the Quarter-Finals! All combatants present yourselves at the arena floor immediately!

Seems like this was all that made it to the competition then. That was a relief, less people means less fights to worry about. It seemed urgent, so he simply said, "Whoops, looks like I need to get moving. Nice meeting you Farrah, got to win my fight. Talk to you after my round is over." He waved farewell to her for good measure. He had to tell Cothyl it was time to do this. Just one thing bugged him on who his opponent was, Mary Stratford. To make it worse, she had the boulder from earlier with her. What was her plan?

He ran outside and yelled to Cothyl, "Hey we need to get to the arena, the fight got pushed to right now." Cothyl looked down, "What do you mean right now? I thought we had a few minutes still." Regardless, he nodded, not like he needed to know who was his opponent. Hopefully they wouldn't get hurt too badly though. Randar pulled out his piccolo, first playing a song to dispel his Spirit, then one more to charge his gun. The notes rang out, high pitched and nicely tuned, even dare say pleasant if someone were to hear it. He turned to quickly run back in, which ring was he in again? Randar was far too excited for his first match to be anything but first into the ring.

Let's see, Farrah was ring one, so that left three other possible places. He ran to ring 3, hopefully this was the right one. Excitement crossed his face, yes, first one here. Now to think of handling Mary and her crazy tactics. She has her spirit and for some reason that boulder she rode in on. He gave a sigh, shouldn't be too hard, right? He played the same song as before to summon Cothyl, not like his Spirit could have walked through the tiny doors. Standing at 16 feet tall, the stage was set for the fight. Now to wait for Mary, no doubt she had a plan for an over the top entrance.

Charley felt satisfied with that kick, watching the small Pokemon go flying. That feeling ended when he realized it still held his Pokeball in a death grip during the short lived flight. What made it worse was realizing that Pokemon's trainer was trying to confuse Dwebble with words of hope and compassion. All this talk over a shell, guess it was pretty important to Dwebble. That thought made him realize, his lack of care is why it wasn't obeying him, and she was using it against him.

He stood there, trying to quickly come up with something to win back Dwebble's respect. All he could come up with was "Dwebble, after we beat these guys... Let's take a break to pick you out a nice, shiny new rock. So what do you say, buddy?" These words didn't sound as polite or sincere, almost like kindness wasn't natural for him. He refused to let some stranger try to turn his Pokemon against him, though.

@PlatinumSkink

Dwebble charged for Purrloin, straight as an arrow. Purrloin tried to leap over it's attacker. Without Dwebbles rock, it was much more mobile, jumping up to intercept Purrloin, managing to hit it with it's claw. Upon hitting the cat, it's claws glowed brighter, gaining power seemingly from it's opponent. A powerful hit, quickly bringing down the poor cat.

-Purrloin is Unable To Battle-

Dwebble turned towards it's last opponent, an Espurr holding a stolen Pokeball. Just one more opponent before this was over. At this point, it was clear that words won't work, something had to be done. Behind Dwebble stood the cliff, the waters rushing below. Charlie looked out and gave another command, "Last one, finish it quickly with another Fury Cutter." Despite his ruined clothing and newly forming bruises on him, somehow this just made him look more intimidating.

Few options remained for Mara, convincing it to stand down would need quick words. Perhaps Yasha had the right idea, trying to push it off the bridge. Maybe it wasn't Mara's idea, what was clear was that one hit will end this fight. Dwebble raised it's glowing claws and charged towards Kira, how will she handle this?

If @Hatakekuro still wanted to get a post in before I do mine, he will get the chance. He may not be able to fight, but that doesn't mean he has to silently watch the fight from the sidelines. You also can elect to not do a post, just wanted to make sure.

Also, Whimsley has been pretty quiet. It's kind of odd considering he is usually on every other day. I'm sure life just got in the way for him. Either way, it's worrying because he talked of making a post two days ago now...
Sorry for the delay, that took a while to write. Post is up, so good luck.
