Harper watches the two of them vanish, his arms crossing over his chest, his narrowed eyes staying fixed on the point. The portal whirls and swooshes, but not in an overly loud way and both Harper and the doctor look to Rue as he lets out a long sigh. The little fairy drifts back and forth a bit, wishing like one wouldn't believe that he could follow the two men he admires most to a world he's only seen in his head. 'I hope Mister Seishu and Lord Enasi don't run into any trouble. I know that our lord is really strong and all, but I can't help but worrying, it must be part of what makes me me' He finally notices the two staring at him and with a startled squeak he darts off down the hall to do as Enasi had asked him.

On the other hand Harper turns once more to Crios, the hard yet concerned look on his face making the doctor's innards tighten. Before he can address the matter however Harper speaks up. “I think I saw what you were talking about. That little something. . . .I can't describe it, but it was there.” Uncrossing his arms he reaches up to tug on one of his ears.

Crios nods, understanding the rabbit man's inability to describe just what it is between the two. That intimate feeling of of peace despite the outer turmoil and bickering that they display most of the time. 'Somehow I do not think that even given the chance or inclination, that either of them really harbors any urge to attack the other'

Crios has never been on the battlefield, so his experience with the two coming together is restricted to the last few days. Harper however has seen them meet in the midst of a blood bath before. That look in their eyes was very different. Seishu was haughty and menacing, but almost completely dismissive of the Dream Guardian. While Enasi had always seemed to have nothing but loathing for the dark creature. 'But then again I never really looked all that hard. I never had a reason to, and my own anger and hatred in that situation could have colored my judgments. I will not deny this' Harper becomes lost in thought and does not even notice when Crios excuses himself to return to work. Halfway down the hall Crios turns to look once more at the confused man before letting out a sigh and continuing on his journey to the hospital wing.

_+_+_+_+_+_+_

The trip through the portal is very short, but Seishu still feels sick to his stomach when they reach the other side. Portals to and from the nightmare realm consist of black, dark blue, and dark purple. The white, yellow, and bright red swirls of the Dream Realm transportation was a bit of an overload. Tightening his grip on Enasi's shoulder he bends slightly, looking to the dark asphalt to try and get the spinning under control. 'Oh, god, why are all things from the sparkler's world so bright and shiny and. . .Oh my head' As soon as he's sure he's not going to tip over he lets out a sigh and stands upright. His eyes skate over their surroundings, not really taking much in other than they are in a city of some sort. 'Not just a city, but an ally in a city. Lovely, the smell is wonderful, thanks Hops' Shaking his head slightly he sighs again and looks to his humanoid crutch. “So how you wanna do this? I'm use to approaching things from above, so this ground level thing is really new to me.” Sirens sound in the distance, accompanied by many classic city noises.
Dorian makes a light clucking noise with his tongue and reaches up to grip the boy's hand once more. 'I can understand his fear. Even in his new life, such beast would still activate the fear of his original human nature' “It is alright James, you do not be afraid. They are our pets. They are our tools. Just by being what you are now you may command them and control them as an extension of you will.” Glancing over at the pack leader he waves a hand to signal for them to back off, not wanting James to be more frightened than he already is.

“They are the Wahru. In the human terms, you would think of them as werewolves. They are made by vampires to serve and protect us. We use a science that you can't understand having been alone all this time, however you may trust me when I say they can not harm you.” The pack moves off a bit, but the leader stays close enough to keep an eye on Dorian should he need something. At a bridge the wolves crash full force through the water on either side, only a couple taking the bridge because of their positions behind Horace. He soothes his hand over James's a few more times before letting go and taking up the reins with both hands once more.
No problem. It normally take about 1-2 days per response for my anyways, due to the shear number of RPs I'm doing and the thought I have to put into some of these OOCs while I'm setting them up. So I don't mind.

Jungles are fun. All green and viney and with big trees. . . . . So, should we have the battle like, a couple days from the nearest settlement so after we get stuck we can have some other characters to play with eventually?
As he waits Alexi begins humming a little tune, his foot tapping in time to the beat. He relaxes his thoughts for a time, preparing himself for the upcoming conversation. It wasn't until he had begun getting ready for the day that he realized that he had as of yet to fill Joseph in, and with as much as he values the elder vampire he felt like perhaps this time he should be a little more cautious. 'Joseph would never betray me, I know this. There isn't a doubt in my mind about this, however. . . Would it hurt him more to know my intentions or to be kept in the dark?' Alexi knows full well that the old slave has no rights, and as such he doesn't have to tell him anything. However deep down he can feel it approaching. That all important moment in his life that most people die without knowing. That one thing that will make their life worth living.

Finally the door opens to reveal the focus of his deep musings. His foot stops and he turns to gaze at the vampire waiting respectfully for his response. He remains silent as he move before the fireplace slowly. The flames leaping at his back casts his front in shadows hiding his expressions. He lets out a sigh, crossing his arms over his chest so he's gripping his elbows in opposite hands. A thoughtful expression crosses his face, still hidden by the shadows and he says quietly, “You were with Mois.” There is no question in his tone, just a simple statement of fact. Alexi would often send for one servant or another, forcing the message delivered on foot. His reasoning rather simple but one he feels no desire to reveal. 'If he had been in the house it would not have taken that long to get to this room. Joseph takes my summons seriously, and I know his walking speed very well from having spent days doing the math' Despite the pride he feels from the accomplishment, Alexi is ready to take it to his grave, or to award any who figure it out. It has always given him an air of mystery.

Motioning to one of the tall backed chairs before the fire he waits for the slave to take a seat before speaking up again. “I'm curious. I have no doubt why he called you.” He shifts to the side, tilting his head with a faint smile. He knows Joseph may have a hard time seeing the smile itself, but it is a common stance he's sure the other recognizes as non-threatening. “I have not told him much, so I am curious what of that he's told you.” He shifts again, leaning back against the top shelf of the mantle. “I'd also like to know, what you think of the situation, with what you know so far. Come, be honest with me. I know it's bothering you as I have never seen you bothered before. . .” He waits quietly for a response from the other, making no motions to rush the elder.

Letting out a sigh as he closes the door behind the two slaves Mois covers his eyes with the palms of both hands and presses down. 'Alexi, you are insane, and if I have to lock you in a little box to keep you alive at the end of this, I will. Without hesitation little brother' Throwing his arms wide he lets out a little groan and stretches. The events of the day have exhausted him, so after consuming the rest of the sandwich and drinking a couple glasses of the wine, Mois retires to his bedroom to get some sleep. His bed, while large, is dwarfed be the size of his brother's up in the manor. However Mois has never felt the need for a bigger one. 'It's big enough for me, and that's just fine. I don't need room for two, or ten like Alexi' On occasion his own reasoning threatens to depress him, but then normally he drifts off to sleep comfortably and he avoids thinking of it for another day. This time however he lay awake for a long time simply staring at the blank ceiling, as if somehow the dark blue paint could give him the answers he seeks.
Well, I think slowing down a bit so our characters can get to know each other and they world they live in a little better sounds good to me. After that I can see some drama creating events like assassination attempts, meetings with the rulers from the other two nations coming in for meetings and the like.
Perhaps you are unconsciously having an aversion to having a couple where one character is underage as far as American law is concerned? As a solution we could have each visit every 5 years so he is 18 on the next visit?
I would never claim to be better than you. If I wanted to say I was better than you I would say "I'm so good, I can do this!" But I don't, because I don't think that way. I am really sorry it upsets you, I really am. I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to "show that I'm better than you" because in all honestly, I have no such intentions. It's why I posed it the way I did. You asked what to put in a character sheet, so I told you what I see of my character. What I would put into a character sheet. As for matching my standards, you should see some of the people I RP with. You far exceed my baseline and interest standards and we haven't even begun RPing yet.

As for taking control of an RP. . . I'm not sure what to say other than it's not true. From my initial idea only one things has remained the same: There are two beings. Through your questioning and you want of change -

*They switched from simple light and dark to actual directed energy beings
*They no longer just have live springing up around the, they are the cause or at least tools behind it
*They went from being completely innocent to a kind of god figures
*Their purpose is well on it's way to being firmly established rather than remaining vague for us to work on during the RP

My initial idea was the extent of my planning at that point, then you began asking questions. You began directing my thinking pattern.

"Are you going to want to roleplay as the gods? Or would you rather create gods, and then roleplay as the people in the world they create? Or a combination thereof?"

You gave options, ideas that I thought you wanted to work with, so I looked the way you directed me and gave you my thoughts on the matter. after that became our tumble of disagreements. I know how gods normally work in worlds, so I thought it would be fun to make this world different. And you said that was interesting, so I thought we were doing good. You rejected my idea of other beings like ourselves, and I accepted it without hesitation. Then you posed the "Something" idea" and I went with that. . . .Do you see where I'm going with this? I can see how this seems like, near the end, that I was being stubborn on things, but that was only because through your questions the vague forms of ideas I once looked at took form and began to settle. You would keep asking what I see, and in the end, that would of course make it look like I did most of the planning. I am always open for input, I am always willing to change, but one something takes form and is solid before me. . . .

I can see the spot where we, at least to me, began butting heads. It was the point where I wanted to keep things simple, give our guys no greater motivation than to build, and you decided they needed a reason. I knew if we went any further in that we would begin seriously disagreeing, so I tried avoiding it by being as obtuse in my opinions as possible. I tried not giving myself a foothold, but you kept asking more and more what I saw, so I told you. I don't like controlling the planing, I don't WANT to be the one doing the building and planning most of the time, because it does not feel fair to me. It makes me feel like I'm overriding my partner's ideas they have not yet had or posted. I tried very hard to not reach the point where I begin solidifying things in my head, I really did. I even told you as such right near the top of this page, about the time where we had a misunderstanding about energy types. In fact I think it's the same post. *Looks* Yes, yes it is.

For my own part my initial idea of two beings coming into existence would have started our RP with nothing more than two character sheets bringing forth two beings into a void of mostly nothingness with nothing more than two exceptionally creative minds driving the world and their actions, and that was good enough for me. That gave us the opportunity to work things out in a more natural way when it comes to RPs. Your level and kind of planning is very well suited for novels and the like. I can see you creating an amazing story with only someone else as a sounding board should you want a flush of ideas to work with. I can tell you're a good writer, I really really can. And for RPs, I can see your attention to detail and slue of questioning being good as the RP goes along, but after reaching a certain point in pre-planning it's better to just do the RP and let the planning be directed by the RP itself. It's like. . . You said before you don't want your character stuck in a particular personality, your type of planning makes us stuck with a setting that may have done better being built in RP. You asked fro something simple or vague or something like that, then insisted we go above and beyond.

Just so you know I'm not upset, just a bit confused. I am a writer, and I use my skills to write my responses in RPs, but I am also one very sure that writing and RPing should have it's very defined lines between them. Writing is planned, hashed, discussed, scripted and goal oriented, and I enjoy it very much. RPing is, at the beginning, simple, formless, empty, and is built through the talents one two or more people bouncing off of each other until they find a good rhythm. That too I enjoy very much. Once my eyes see beyond a certain point in the planning of an RP, I begin seeing things really like, and want to keep, but for my partner I am willing to forsake a lot of it. I know I sound arrogant, stubborn, and a bit controlling at times, but when it comes to RPs I try my best to never reach that point.

I don't know everything in an RP, nor do I ever want to, and even if there is a picture in my head right now of the world and it's inhabitants, because we have never discussed them it is still very open for change. So too are all the tings we've discussed, however because of the discussion i have some wants and some things I may ask not be changed. Like the relationship between the gods and the people. Mostly because we seemed to agree that that would be interesting.

I just want to say one last time that I'm sorry you are bothered by my mental faculties and reiterate that I in now way see myself as better. Just because my mind works the way it does, making things easier on me, does not mean that it's better than what you can do. I think it would be amazing to be able to actually PLAN a character rather than it just springing into existence. However I like the way I find my characters, and I am in awe of people who do it differently. Also, I want to say one last time that I had no real plans going into this second try other than what I initially stated, so in essence, you built this RP through my brain. I have conceded or integrated most everything you brought up to a point, so I am sorry for the few things I put my foot down on.
If you wanna time skip to when they meet again, I think that would be the very next day. Yu sits across the path that leads to you guy's school, so unless tomorrow is a weekend, he would see Yu up there again the next day.
As Rue babbles on, Seishu lets his gaze drift over to his counterpart, relishing the expression on his face when he notices his subordinates staring at him. 'Ah, delicious. Now I even have his own men working to aid me in my conquest!' He chuckles aloud at his thoughts, rolling Rue over so he busts out into giggles once more. When his eyes catch those of Doc he raises his eyebrows innocently and looks back to the overly giddy fairy. 'Ah yes, I'm going to totally lose all of his confidence and perhaps scare the ever living crap out of him right here, right now, ensuring that I either get left on earth, or will have to put up with even more flippant and irritating jabs from my dear counterpart. You are the smart one Doc'

When Rue whispers his question a slow innocent smile finds it's way to his lips and he pulls the boy in close. “It's a secret, but I promise to tell you later. You'll get a kick out of it.” Crios and Harper both look at him with expressions of horror etched on their faces, both easily able to hear his whispered promise. However he is saved from having his ears ripped off by those in full belief that telling Rue is tantamount to rending his innocence from his permanently by the Dream Guardian speaking up.

Crios glances at him then back to Seishu, glad to be on to a business that he feels safe and comfortable in for the most part. 'I really must talk to him in private when he returns. I know he's not lying, but. . . .I just don't. . . .' Shaking off his rapid thoughts making unease begin boiling up again he coughs and moves towards the end of the bed. “I've prepared a set of needles to be used in case of emergency. Painkillers mostly, but there are a few tranques that will knock him out should things get desperate.” Reaching inside his sleeve he pulls out a utility belt equipped with eight syringes. Six are filled with a green liquid, the other two, a sickening looking pink color. Seishu watches curiously as Crios passes the belt over to Enasi. Rue bounces up and down but remains quiet, not wanting to interrupt the important matters. No matter how badly he wants to express once again his desire to go with.

Harper then steps forward. “For my part I have selected a good location that should have plenty of what he's looking for without being in the center of the unusually high level of activity by the Nightmare Realm Minions as of late.” He glances at Seishu but the guardian's face is unreadable. Looking back to Enasi he continues. “I set up the passage in the main hall and have ordered all the palace staff away from the area until I give the all clear. I don't think Seishu should be near any more dream realm beings than absolutely necessary, for his sake as well as theirs.” Seishu snorts, making an offhanded comment about being glad 'Hops' worries about him so much, but Harper ignores it. Instead he looks to Enasi with honest concern in his eyes. “I know you want the three of us to stay here, but could you not at least bring a couple guards along? Or even one? The high level of activity from those foul creatures makes even you unsafe so far from the realm. . .”

Seishu's eyes narrow at his beloveds being called 'foul creatures' but before he can say anything Rue bounces right up to Seishu's defense. “That's not nice! They may be all mean and stuff and make people suffer, but Seishu says it's for a good reason! Just because we don't like what they do doesn't give us the right to think less of them! I think you should apologize to. . . .Mister. . . Seishu. . . .” His voice falters, realizing he spoke very much out of turn. With a little eep he shuffles back to the head of the bed and coils around so he can hide beneath the covers. Seishu's eyes soften ever so slightly at the little lump beside him. He doesn't speak however, not sure what to say really. True, he loves his underlings and knows of the good they are doing the human race, however he can't find it in himself to fault the bunny man for his way of thinking, despite the overwhelming urge to tear his head off for talking about them that way.
Tatsuki lets the silence stretch on, the comfort he now holds in the man next to him letting him eat in peace. However as more and more dish is seen, and less and less food, the shinigami can feel eyes on him. Eyes that he does not wish to respond to, however when the gazes stay despite his lack of response he lets out a sigh. He quickly finishes his last dish, hoping to leave before the ones behind the staring have the chance to swoop in, but he fails miserably. Watching Shigetoshi walk away after making an odd little noise Tatsuki shakes his head. 'I'm being abandoned to the wolves! Shigetoshi-kun you traitor!' The over-the-top accusation in his brain is enough to bring a smile to his lips as he addresses the girls.

“In my travels one in never sure where the next meal comes from. Also, being a cook allows one to not only get free meals as often as not, it lets one meet many interesting people. It's a skill that's very handy, and I learn quickly.” His voice is smooth and earnest and he watches as they keep their attention so completely. The simplicity of their instincts however loses his interest rather quickly and before they can raise another question Tatsuki rises and gives them a little bow. “Forgive me. I would like to help clean up the mess I helped make this evening, if you will excuse me.” They let out twin whines but after a few seconds the skitter over to their table and begins stacking their dishes. All around the room the remaining dishes find their way into piles as he grabs the second platter. Gathering the rest of the dishes Tatsuki smiles as he receives many more compliments on his cooking, and with one last look around the room he wanders off down the hall to the kitchen.

'That was easier than I thought. I should be careful, they may have more devious plans in mind for later tonight. I should have checked when I had the chance. . . .' Letting out a long sigh he shakes his head at the girls actions and shallow motivations, turning around so he can push the door to the kitchen open without disrupting the platter. Giving Shigetoshi a smile he sets the platter down on the preparation table and sets to work cleaning. Before the other can protest Tatsuki chimes in. “That was fun. I can not wait to help out again. It is always good to see smiling faces, even when they are smiles of hunger for a poor defenseless somebody. . . .” He lets his sentence trail off gently, an obvious light hearted note in his voice..
