Current Nihilism is freedom. To be without purpose is to be free of the oppression of destiny. To be without cause is to be free to make your own. Woe to he who has an outside reason to be. For he is a slave.

Let's not go too far off the deep end. They do have to fit inside the box. And in spite of just how big this thing is, and it's big, it can actually be kind of cramped in here.

I can agree to that compromise.

But life is empty. Always has been and always will be. It's just a way to pass the time until you die and vanish forever into blissful oblivion. So like don't leave for tomorrow what you can do today.

Of course not. But you can't consistently get it out of human writers either. That's why you read all the millions of manuscripts sent to you by would be Tolstoys and Tolkiens and pick the good stuff.

Bio

Long ago in the distant past there was only color. Color to be loved, to be hated, color to please thoughts and corrupt minds. Color to color but newer shape. And than one day everything changed. We do not speak of this event nor of the times thereafter. For they were dark times when color took shape and shape rejected color. To this day the two remain separate, ever touching but newer becoming one. With one exception.

What you see before you is the purple cube of the cosmos. The merger of shape and color and ultimate avatar of the color purple in its physical form. Its N-dimensional form exists beyond your comprehension leaving but a shadow in the form of a cube for you to perceive. A cube with right angles and yet no sharp edges.

It's guardian, a being of it and yet distinct from it and one with it all at the same time dwells within. Or perhaps they dwell together, or just dwell. The later is most certainly true these days a the cube orbits earth having after an eternity in space discovered the internet and its endless supply of cat videos. Now the two orbit hungrily in search of satellites to consume so as to feed its insatiable hunger for cute.

My point is that I basically have no idea what you will and won't allow before I try it. And I can't really figure it out by just reading your document.

Hell, to be extreme if I can control water molecules than frankly the obvious thing to do is fission.
Cool. Always nice to see this sort of thing taken to its logical conclusion. Anyway, next question. I read that you want us to apply science to the techniques. But like what does this extend to? Basically I understand how "throw fireball" is useful in combat and I understand how "use control over water molecules in somebodies body to make him boil and die horrifically" is also useful in combat. But I don't see how the former is overpowered and later isn't if you catch what I am trying to say in general.
No idea about the hat but new faces are always welcome. Being new here my self I have to say that so far I've not been driven to suicide once by the locals. And that's always a good thing in my book.

So welcome.
Hm... That does make sense. So basically what would be our job in this world than? Without wars to fight would we essentially end up as superheroes? I mean, I know that the obvious answer is that we'd be a military force but realistically i can't imagine a roleplay about barracks life being too exciting. :)
The concept is certainly interesting but I am unsure as to how it is going to play. I mean, fundamentally Naruto is about melee fighting but with magic. With modern technology what's to stop someone from just pulling out an AK and ending it? And that's just the first question to come to mind. Like, I'd be interested in talking this through if for no other reason than because it's interesting.
@Maglar
Er... I looked at that page several times now and there is no "New Roll" anywhere. It's just a list of previous rolls.
It's in the character tab, the instructions are there, let me know if they are clear

The instructions are:
Roll a 1d6, whatever the role click the link under the hider for a secret writing prompt.

How do I roll 1d6? Do I get a physical dice or something or is there some mechanism built into the site?
I have an… odd affinity for female characters with parental issues (ie- Asuka from Evangelion).

Tell me about it. There is just something about such character that triggers my paternal instincts. Like I was watching that Japanese horror movie about the little girl that comes out of your TV and murders you because she was drowned in a well as a kid. Something like that. I can't recall the name right now and the details are fuzzy. Anyway the entire time I just couldn't be scared by it at all. All I kept feeling was sorry for the girl and how nobody ever just tries being nice to her instead of trying to escape.
All in all I have a strong feeling this is going to be fun.
Room for one more?

We have a similar concept personality vise. Let's see how that turns out. Hopefully it involves shopping because my girl just lost all of her clothes and makeup... and family...

Also if it's no problem story vise. My background involves a mysterious strange alien, as you've all seen. I haven't quite figured out yet what to do with this. But like it's not the guy that summoned us here. That'd be too easy. It's either the guy that blew up the world and for some reason spared her or the guy was there to save them, failed but for some reason saved her. Either way it's something I'll have to work out with the GM(s) eventually. But only eventually. That's like late 3rd character arc level stuff or something.
