WELCOME TO THE GAME

The Basics:

You will Role play as a character from a game. As an individual your character knows they are in a game, but that is all they know, therefore they can break the fourth wall and resent the developers, or hate the graphics - that is up to you. An example would be an Uncharted character that can see their objective behind a metal fence, but has to trail around the map, zigzagging between streets and avoiding detection before they finally reach the checkpoint - only to find that they forgot to collect the key to the door, which is on the other side of the metal fence, which could easily be climbed over DAMNIT!

A short example of a post:

Mac took out his pistol and switched the safety then he peeked around the corner, the bastard was still there. A few bullets sprayed the wall as a warning and he ducked back to cover. The ledge above him was a perfect way to get around to the shooter, so he pulled himself up and crouched, moving along the upper level and dropping down behind the guy.

"360 no scope!" he yelled jumping and turning 360. As he landed with his shotgun raised he saw the muzzle of a gun, then a flash of red.

"FIRST BLOOD!" Boomed a voice.

Oh c'mon...

Rules:

• Respect and cooperate with your peers, praise good work and give constructive criticism when it is asked for.
• Listen to my and any future co-gm's words, they are important.
• Unless your character is a God, no God Moding. Mario isn't suddenly going to find an ak47 in a hidden area and proceed to shoot his way to the end.
• Post a paragraph at the least and only ever post less than this if your character is talking to another character.
• Always have fun.

Working with other members:

If you're planning on sending your character into the digital world of someone else's game, PM them or talk to them about it first, and only post such things if they agree that you can. At this point you have two members in the same world, do not get overly competitive as it will only lead to frustration, keeping things comically or action packed will suit this thread perfectly.

Character sheets

I will not give a skeleton, as many characters will vary in detail etc.

I do however insist on:

Name: (SE)
Game: (SE)
Genre: If your going for funny, then its comical etc. If your action packed, action.
Info: Things others should know about the game/your character and how you're going to portray them.

Also a picture or description could prove useful.
