Current Getting new RP ideas is agonizing when you realize you need to shelf them until you're less busy.

Liam Matthews

Location: Aunt Sue's Inn #10
Interacting With: Aloise Zamora @Morose

Liam watched Aloise for a moment or two as she asked him further about the shapeshifter, eventually he chuckles awkwardly, realising he had no real leads to give her. "Uh, no, not really..." He'd scratch at the back of his neck, shrugging. "I've only seen it once, at the town meeting yesterday, she complimented me for making the press take their stolen generators back to the hospital." He explained, watching her quietly afterward. While he was waiting for any further input from her however, his attention was stolen by something far more dramatic.

Turning his gaze toward Sariel as she appeared, he seemed confused at first, and a little nervous as he looked toward Aloise, as if to gauge her reaction. Looking back to Sariel as she spoke suddenly, he seemed still confused, not quite yet understanding the weight of her words. "Sariel, what do you mean, who has risen?" As he was speaking however, the thoughts became clear in his mind. Her brother could only mean so many people, and from how distraught she was, which one wasn't too far to put together. As the look of realization crossed his face, he gulped somewhat.

"Oh. Crap."

Darren Andrews

Location: 1 Grant Road
Interacting With: Jade Cornish @Morose

"Well, shit." Darren wandered back down the stairs in Howard's home, into the room where his body lay and he'd left Jade. He gave her a momentary look of concern, she was clearly different, certainly not as talkative as she had been in her previous life, but he supposed Hell sucked that out of you. Part of him wondered if it might've been cruel to bring her back, to give her a break from the suffering and possibly just damn her back to it. Now that the angel blade had eluded him, he had no idea where it could've gone, or where he could get another.

Sighing, he scratched at his chin as he looked over at her. "You manage to find anything down here? Any hints or..?" Again, he frowned as he watched Jade, he didn't know what to say to her in any situation, he hadn't known her desperately well in the first place, but it already seemed like he was back to square one. On one hand, it felt good to see her still alive, to know he'd done at least something to put an end to her suffering, but now he couldn't help but be racked with a different kind of guilt, the kind where he had to force himself not to admit that he may have fucked both of them over, put them in way too deep.

He already regret his deal, he should've bartered for some better deal than the reapers, something he knew he could kill with something else, he just needed something to make sure she wasn't about to get dragged back. But it didn't seem like he might've been that lucky. Sighing again, he stood there quietly, watching Jade and waiting for any answer.

Javier Crypt

Location: Crypt Manor
Interacting With: Belladonna Crypt @Lady Amalthea

Javier let the right corner of his mouth curl upward in a twisted smirk, his fingers trailing along he sides as she spoke. "Well my beloved, we'll just have to find ourselves a replacement for it, won't we?" He purred as he felt her finger running gently along the line of his jaw, the mere touch sending an icy chill down his spine. It was truly as if she was running an ice cube along his jawline, so cold, refreshing and even unnerving. He adored it.

Hearing the words against his ear only served to send another chill down his spine, his body pressing back against her own as he let his arms shift around her body, a finger trailing idly up the length of her spine in a feather touch, letting his heat burn through her slowly, spreading throughout her coldness in a flurry of passion. Slowly, he shifted his head down, lips brushing a mere inch from here own as he pushed forward, granting her a brief but passionate, firey kiss in the moments before the Cauldron bubbled over and exploded.

The walls were covered, as was the floor, and more importantly, the two of them. Javier didn't mind, in fact, he was more amused by the turn of events than anything. Grinning as he looked about for a moment, he looked back toward his love, leaning forward to steal another kiss, letting his tongue flick out to taste a bit which had landed just on the corner of her mouth, pulling back as he licked his own lips clean. "Delicious." He grinned in a coy manner, slowly letting his hands leave her as he moved to stand up straight, beginning to work off his coat as he knew full well it would need to be washed.

Lucas Walsh

Location: Safe House

The past week had not been easy on Lucas, between his girlfriend almost dying in an explosion and recovering slowly, quitting his job (both of them, technically) and more than likely the aspect of being hunted were piling up to almost be a little much for Lucas. He forced himself into distractions whenever he could, trying not to think about anything that was going on if he didn't have to. He'd dismantled and cleaned every weapon in the safe house a few times over, and it was his mission now as he slid the barrel out of the rifle he had laid out before him. His sleeves rolled up as he scrubbed at the small bits of grime that he had missed last time around.

He let his eyes flick up toward Gregory as he stood in the kitchen making something for them all. Lucas recalled the explanation Risa had given him about who the man was, unfortunately, it didn't help. Lucas still hadn't shown the messages he'd received to Risa, and certainly not to Roy. As far as he knew, Roy could see the message and take it upon himself to complete the mission, Lucas was still oblivious to how much Gregory actually knew. The death of his roommate had been unfortunate news, but aside from finding the circumstance odd, Lucas didn't care too much to look into it, he hadn't ever known Jeremy properly, and while it was unfortunate, he had more things to worry about.

For a moment his wandering thoughts were distracted by the feeling of Risa's lips against his own, he turned his gaze over to her, forcing a half-smile as he watched her wander off toward the bathroom. In all that had been happening recently, she was still the one thing that made perfect sense to him, the one thing holding him down to reality in a world gone to shit. She was his anchor, more-so now than she ever had been before. Sighing softly, he continued to clean the rifle, slowly beginning to reassemble it as he heard Gregory speak up. "It'll be fine." He said plainly.

Placing the rifle back together, Lucas slid a magazine into it and pulled back on the charging handle, setting the weapon down as he leaned back, idly resting his hand on the handgun he had holstered at his side. It wasn't any real secret that Lucas still didn't trust Roy properly, Lucas didn't have much to trust those days, things weren't going to be easy getting back to normal. Sighing softly, he reached down to the small crate he'd been working on his weapons on, picking up a small packet of cigarettes and slipping one between his lips. Lucas didn't smoke, not regularly, when he did, it was exceedingly rare, and generally came from a great deal of stress. Sighing, he grabbed the lighter which sat beside the packet, lighting up the cigarette as he took a long drag, blowing out the smoke as he leaned back in his chair.
Working on a post now. ^^
@Lady Amalthea

What would I do without your back seat gming? lol :P

@frapet

She pretty much said it all, you're welcome to choose your own military rank as long as its within those suggested, and perhaps find a lighter colour so it's easier to read. Once you've made those edits the character will ideally be good to go.
@SouffleGirl123

Yes! I think I got 'Amber' and 'May' mixed together somehow, lol :P
@frapet

The Vindicator has no real second in command, which could be a possibility, or you could choose to play someone who isn't necessarily a part of the Empire, but just aligned with them. Anything from a slave-trader to a rich warlord, depending on how you make the character ^^
Harry Walsh

Location: Alf Leyla Salah at Opera Square

Smiling softly toward Aziza, Harry thanked the bartender quietly as his drinks were set down, picking one up and swirling it idly in his hand for a moment before he took a drink. Letting the liquid run down his throat, he savoured the bitterness and the burn as e let out a relaxed sigh, settling in finally as he took another quick drink and set the glass back down, eyes following her gaze over toward Lauren before turning back, not knowing the woman she waved to.

As Aziza asked about his writing, he gave her a semi-forced smile, chuckling softly as he raised his shoulders in a shrug. "Not too terribly, though I just keep finding myself stuck, I never quite know how to explain something or what to really say..." It was always hard to explain the things he had gone through or that he'd been exposed to. Putting it all into words was not an easy task for the man, and as usual he skirted over anything specific that he'd written about. She was always able to get the stories out of him if she really wanted to, but they were never things he brought up or spoke about of his own volition.

Taking another drink of his whiskey, he chuckled at her last comment and coughed slightly as he swallowed the drink, clearing his throat as he watched her. "Oh, never, i've just been working up the courage to come get another drink from this place." He chuckled, setting the glass back down as he watched her, an enjoyable tone to his voice as he did indeed enjoy speaking to her.

William Drake

Location: Egyptian Museum

Scoffing in a rather amused fashion as she snatched the book back out of his hands, he half-heartedly paid some mind to her explanation of what was in the book. She was right in her assessment, the contents didn't particularly interest him, well, they did, but not to any great degree. In his mind the contents wouldn't lead him to anything new, no great treasures to be uncovered. That was what he cared about, he saw tombs full of gold, jewels and all things rich and, probably cursed.

Following close behind her, he smirked as she pushed the papers into his chest, taking them as he began to look through them, smile falling as he realised all the work that was to go into what she had given to him still. However, realising a way to turn it around on her, he smirked as he looked back up to her. "Left it all unclear so i'd have to spend more time here working it out with you? You could've just asked for the company." He winked over at her, quite curious to see the reactions she gave him as he stood there, watching as she picked up the phone.

Realising who she was talking to, he struggled to stifle an amused chuckle, but it seemed she had a reasonable idea of who the culprit was despite his relatively failed attempt to remain innocent. As she hung up the phone and scolded him, he shrugged his shoulders, reaching into his pocket and pulling out the Jeweled Scarab. "I saved him time, there was only one thing worth retrieving in there anyway." He said, shifting it between his fingers as he showed it to her.
@frapet

I'm afraid not, I must have forgotten to edit the original OOC and say the spot was taken. We still have two available slots on the Imperial side, however!
