Sodalite had already made her decision, but that didn't keep her from listening to what both Aquamarine and Spinel had to say. A soft smile made its way to her lips as she heard Spinel talking about being on Aquamarine's side. "Spooky White Gem." Sodalite chirped. "You certainly won't be useless. It's just a bump that we want to help you get over. Destroying the bump might be just as easy, but it isn't as fun, and you can't look back at the bump and remind yourself of all the things you did to get where you are." She wanted to help in getting Spinel to stay with them. It was mostly because she genuinely enjoyed Spinel's presence, as scary as she could sometimes be, but it was also because she wanted to atone for not participating in any of the battled beforehand. She felt like she had just been standing around while everyone else did their stuff, and it made her feel bad.

I'm half tempted for Sodalite to Nope it as well.
@RaijinslayerWe could also go with the Illusion of freedom. Maybe bloodstone said all that to get the characters to think what I said, but in the reality of things, it prohibits more than it allows
But think of it this way. Bloodstone speaks about how he removed her impurities, her emotions. It sounds very monk-ish to me, and how they detach themselves from the world to truly become at peace. By removing any and all tethers, he allowed her as much freedom as she could have, no longer having anything internal to bias her choices of life.
