Weapon: A pair of larger-than-average folding fans (have 15 inch radii). She keeps them in sleeves attached to both sides of her waist.

Elemental attack:
'Blades of Wind'
- Air can be shaped into rapidly-spinning discs with sharp edges to cause slashing damage to a target.
'Invisible Force'
- Quick and momentary compression of air can be used to propel the user in their intended direction as well as deal bludgeoning damage to a target.
Biography: Ailin grew up in a state east of Redensia and was the younger as well as lesser favored of two girls. Her overachieving older sister was admired and well liked by many in her hometown. Unfortunately, the two were even treated differently by their own family, especially by their mother, who evidently devoted more of her time and attention to her older sister. Ailin was twelve when her sister was killed in a fire, after which her grieving mother started to display abusive behavior towards her. Her father, worried for the safety of his daughter, then took her and left for Redensia, where he restarted his crafting business and taught Ailin the trade. It was only after the start of her new life when she discovered her wind abilities while defending a couple of younger children on the streets from bullies and ending up hurting them more than she had expected to. Keen to make the most of this newfound gift, she readily accepted the invitation to the academy which came soon after.
