Yo look what I found:

Looks like a future portrait of our main couple here. Spooky right? Like what were the chances?
Eliezer did understand Raven's anger towards his family and her initial desire to harm them, but the clash in their interests was apparent. The sensible thing to do would be to stop seeing her so that he would be at peace knowing he had done all he could to keep his family safe. However, the fact that she had revealed such information to him was leading him to believe everything she had said about only wanting to be with him now. In addition, Raven could be the change that Dainia sorely needed. He could ask for advice from those whom he regularly confided in, but the decision would ultimately be his, and he would have to take responsibility for any consequences resulting from that decision.

He nodded and stood with her when she expressed that she needed to return home. "Oh, of course. I apologize for keeping you from your duties, but do write to the palace when you get the chance, my lady."

He returned her kiss with one on her forehead, and then watched as she happily left. Seeing her in such a mood, a light smile of satisfaction crossed his own face without him realizing it. Perhaps he should return to the village one day and bring gifts to surprise the orphans under her care. He was certain that she would greatly appreciate such a gesture. Was he finally feeling it? The desire to make another happy without an obligation or the thought of one's personal gain? This was care, or even love, was it not? Unfortunately, he soon fell into the trap of attempting to rationalize his current feelings for her, as he would do with any other inexplicable feeling he would experience.

What was it about her exactly, that made him feel such a way? Could other factors have influenced this? With such questions in mind, he was becoming aware of how his doubts in himself had caused him to be so skeptical of Raven's love for him. Deep down, he had never believed that he was someone who could be loved. He had always thought that he had a clear understanding of who he was as a person, of all his capabilities as well as his limitations. Clearly, there was still more about himself that he has yet to discover. His thoughts were interrupted when the butler startled him. Allister made some comments as he collected the dishes, and Eliezer watched him for some time before speaking.

"Your concern for my emotional well-being is greatly appreciated," the prince began before he let out a soft sigh, remembering the odd interaction between his butler and his lady. "It is apparent that you have knowledge about Lady Omrea that you have not revealed to me. I implore you, Allister, tell me what you know."
In spite of being quite sure that the words of her friends towards the waiter were harmless and just for fun, Delphine had observed that 'Alex' had responded rather strangely. He said nothing about being recognized, or whether or not he knew them. He did not deliberately make it obvious, but it was clear that he was uncomfortable. Perhaps he was not on good terms with her group after all, but if there was any animosity between the two parties, she was feeling none of it. Curious if there was anything that she was missing, she decided to prod the students at the table for more information about this young waiter.

"We know nothing, honest. Like I said, kid hardly says anything to anyone," was the reply.

So no interest, no gossip, nothing. Still, he did not exactly react well to her friends. Maybe he was the one who has something against them. It could also be that he had recognized her and had gotten nervous, but she could not recall anything she had done to make him feel such a way. She had been nice to him, had she not? It did not add up at all, and she wondered if she could catch him the following day to figure out what was up. She continued to be friendly to him, giving him a pleasant "Thank you," and another warm smile as he served them their drinks, and hoped that he would take it a little easier.
Because you got me thinking of an acceptable way to start a sentence with the word "because", you are banned.
