Wyn had half expected her not to respond. He was in no position to make her tell him anything, after all, but give a response she did, though it was rather vague. She wanted to protect him? There must be a reason why she took him by force instead of approaching him with a warning about whatever he was in danger of. It was likely that she did not want him going to the police for protection, which would mean that this 'revenge' she was planning was probably illegal. The fact that she had anticipated his unwillingness to go along with whatever she wanted to do gave him a really bad feeling about what was to come, but he fought to suppress his apprehension as he continued to assess the situation.

A data chip? He remembered that his biological father had been involved in some questionable stuff, but he had no idea what exactly, and he was certain that the aforementioned had not handed him anything close to what could be considered a data chip. He then thought back to that parcel - that must be it. He had not been in contact with anyone or anything related to his original identity since he took on his new one, until recently, and some stranger snatches him off the street right after that. If there was any possible way out of this, he should at least try it. He was pretty good at putting up a façade, due to more reasons than one. Just act dumb - it was worth a shot.

He rolled over, leaning back against the partition between them, but he was still right next to the grill meaning they could still hear each other. "Protect me? You know, for a moment there I thought you actually cared about me, but why would you? I don't even know who you are, but you seem to know me. Unless you don't because you have the wrong guy. My father never gave me any sort of data chip as far as I know, and I've hardly seen him since I started university."

Wyn was confused to see that there was nothing in the trunk. Before he could turn to question the young woman, a hard shove from behind sent him right into the trunk before he heard the door slam shut behind him. It took him a moment to recover from the sudden hit and fall, his head hurting more than before due to the impact. He instinctively scrambled to the door to leave the vehicle, and discovered that he could not. He first asked himself what was happening, but thinking back to how he was baited to the back of the van before he was pushed and locked in, it was obvious - this was an abduction, but what for?

As a performer, he was pretty much considered a local celebrity on campus, but he was not that popular to have crazed fangirls wanting to kidnap him. Plus, that only happened on television, right? Or could it be... no, they could not have found him. He had told the same made-up story of his childhood so many times that he had almost forgotten about what really took place. Everyone he had been in contact with before the incident was either dead or had no idea what happened to him. However, something else then struck him - could it have something to do with that parcel he received the day after his twenty-first birthday just a while ago? He had not properly looked at it yet, but it had something to do with his biological parents' belongings. Perhaps they were able to somehow trace him from that delivery.

Wrapping his fingers around the grill that separated him from the woman in the driver's seat, he dragged himself closer to practically yell at her. "Look lady, I don't care how many guys have told you that this is okay if you're cute, it's not! You going to tell me what you want from me?"

He did realize that those words would probably make it sound like he was trivializing the current situation, but if he did not try to cope with this using some humor, he would completely lose it.
Adelina was hardly impressed by what she thought was Shadow's attempt to shock her out of her current concerns by telling her that Eliezer and Hildebrand was in the past. It obviously sounded like nothing more than a fib to her, and she was looking forward to hearing how he was going to explain it. However, once they were seated and he took his mask off, her expression softened out of pity for the assassin, and she found herself listening to what he had to say next, despite it being unrelated to the whereabouts of the prince and the knight. As one of the well-to-do individuals in Dainia who would always try to aid the poor of the kingdom, she was touched by his story, but now feared the Moon Raven even more.

Shadow's scars, and what he had just said about Raven's tendency to fly into blind rage were sufficient evidence for Adelina to tell that she was a very dangerous person. Were these assassins truly protecting the prince by allowing someone like her to even be near him, much less be in a relationship with him? Even if she really was in love with him, did this claim of love warrant trust that she was never going to hurt him the way she had hurt Shadow, or worse? She was worried for Eliezer's safety, both due to the current situation and the fact that he was romantically involved with someone who seemed to be an unstable killer.

She reached up to touch his face, but stopped herself, looking away as she let her hand fall to her side. "I'm deeply sorry for all that you and your companions have been put through, but you know what the Moon Raven has done to you. Why do you risk putting Prince Eliezer in the same danger by allowing this 'love' between them if you claim to be keeping him safe?"

Eliezer and Hildebrand had managed to find a carriage in which several guards were transporting goods to the palace. The vehicle had been stationary while most the the guards were away from it attending to other business, and the two had managed to get into it to find some appropriate apparel for disguises before travelling with it back to the palace as part of the group. Once at their destination, the guards poured out and set to work unloading the carriage. The prince and the knight managed to slip away from the hustle and found a secluded spot where they could discuss their next objective.

However, before they could say anything to each other, they heard hushed voices coming from around the corner. Cautiously peering out from where they were, they saw one of the ministers conversing with a female redhead in black, fitted attire. Both Eliezer and Hildebrand realized that there was something about her appearance that reminded them of someone whom they knew. They could not make out the words exchanged between her and the minister, but they saw the latter handing her a bag of gold before she went on her way. The two then nodded to each other, nonverbally agreeing to follow the minister who happened to be going to meet the king.

King Hendrick of Dainia was known for his cold, aloof demeanor, one that his elder son had taken after. He looked over all who were at his table, before responding.

"It is time for us to rid Dainia of this threat. Tonight, we take Wynton Forest, and we eliminate the Lunarian heir and her family," he announced. He then turned to the captain standing by his side. "Ready the troops, Captain Werner. You shall leave for the forest at sunset."
