Currently reading through the Repairman Jack series by F. Paul Wilson. Great read for those who like urban supernatural lit and the writing is done well.
So you could be in charge of the law keepers in haven. Imperials may have their hooks stuck in but the keepers aren't technically empire.
Okay. So the Imperials swoop in and essentially take control of the police force, but what does that mean for the Law Keeper's status/position within Haven? Are they being used as retainers? Or, are the LKs still technically "the law" as long as they enforce what the Empire is pushing down their throats?
Kind of like: "Sure, you can all keep your jobs but you need to do what we say, when we say it..."
How goes the review process?
