It would be nice if it would be possible to mix magic and science. It'd be a great amalgamation, just imagine the hero possibilities with it! The Paladins x Overwatch collab that was never meant to be.

The intro says it's a separate division. Also yeah, that's a pretty good point. I mean some people would be accepting of the recruits, a little if say they were related in some way or another to the older heroes, but that's not saying much.

Not sure if I like the 'magic' part and the 'Paladins x Overwatch collab' part. Since this is advertised as an Overwatch Universe RP.

My view being that everything in Overwatch is science and tech based, even if it sounds nigh impossible in the first place, so there's no 'magic'. If you're going to go down the road of a two game collab, then I'll rescind my interest.

I'm pretty interested.

Few questions:

- Are our characters allowed to be associated with an existing Overwatch character? (Assuming this doesn't mess with their original lore)

- What kind of power limits do you have? (I'm sure there will be no magic, because everything in the universe is done through "The miracle of Science". Excluding whatever Reaper does)

- What kind of setting is this? Is it like an academy thing, or a small operation group that does vigilante-esque things or even works with the military? (Despite the fact that nobody wants Overwatch anymore, why would they want Delta)

Oswyn was quite amused by the other man's reaction to his tone, although he managed to keep such an expression hidden behind his blank expression. The alchemist liked these types of people.. It was easy to elicit a reaction from them and it made everything that little bit more amusing. In the back of his mind, he wondered if the man was actually going to attack him.
'So he doesn't know all that much either.. Of course, he's wrong to an extent. If they had been drained of both Ki and Arcane energy, I wouldn't have been able to help.' He thought to himself.

"I merely helped to make them all be quiet. Seems that didn't work." Oswyn replied simply. Maybe it would've been better if he didn't help. He could've restocked by now if it wasn't for all these curious people.
"Also, I'm pretty bad at remembering names." He added with a shrug.

'Especially the names of people I don't give a shit about.'

She had been approached in this way a few times before, however she never really understood the premise behind such actions, so she usually saw them as acts of charity or kindness. Sometimes the man offering would stop talking to her midway after noticing the scars on her skin, but to her, the scars were nothing but evidence of experience. Perhaps scars were undesirable when searching for mating prospects? Beasts were much simpler to fathom in that respect. They just mated with the strongest of their kind, not really caring much about appearance.

"I think.. I'll just have the same as you." She answered simply, giving the elf a small smile. She didn't know much about alcohol, as she never really drank much of it. According to what she's heard in taverns, drinks tend to vary in taste depending on where you went, which sounded quite similar to food. The tamer wondered if this man would also lose interest in her since she had visible scars along her arms, not that she cared very much.

I'm interested, however I'm not sure how tabletop mechanics work in forum rps. I assume the actions taken by characters during combat are more like 'intention' rather than 'I just do a thing'?
