Seles Town

Faeri heard her words. He even let them sink in but at the end of it all, he found them to be just that... words. Perhaps she had experienced sadness or pain, some sort of torture. Maybe she had but none of that could compare to his own. And that was made true by her own lips. She had a mother and a brother; he had no one. Not a single soul to call friend or family.

Faeri sighed a angry, desperate breath.

Now I'll have to remember that name again, he mumbled in defeat. I despise that name. Its like bee-stings on my tongue.

Another sigh fell from him as he swept up his gnarled staff, pulled his hood ever deeper over his head, and started off to find ally or corner to sleep on. Shadows lined his sights now, obscured by the thin, woven, obstruction that was his hood. The material that his cloak was made out of was, horribly irritable, but it kept--what he realized now--him alive. Kept his ire towards the human just on the surface. Most of them knew he was not to be trifled with. Most of them was not all though.

His thoughts went to the select few that braved his words at stage.

They too will know. A grimaced scratched his fair features as he fell in with the leaving crowd.

"I wish I hadn't remembered that name..." he whispered, feeling a surge of buried emotions bubbling inside; tears threatened to fall but he held all but one back.

The library was grander than he thought it would be. If nothing else, The Jedi had a ravenous appetite for flare. In his studies and teachings, Ben was taught the Jedi was simple beings, men and women of meditation, and delicate diplomacy. But this library spoke different words. As decrepit as any ruin, the library still had regality to it. Stairs spiraled in the far off corners, connecting on the second and third floors overhead. Even then, some of the shelves went even further up. It was then that he took notice of the torn, charred, and ragged tapestry that was once radiant pieces of art.

Ben strode forwards, placing a hand on Odette's shoulder to ease the excitement that wafted off of her in the Force.

"Easy now," he started with a cool word. "Try to stay on task after we leave each other."

Artoo beeped a long series of sounds before strolling along side him. His obvious doubt that she could made Ben smile in, pseudo, agreement. With a preternatural leap, one that he was sure was never allowed inside, he clear the first floor and landed on the dusty flat overhead. A curtain of dust flow outward from his careless drop.

He grasped the graceful railing and looked down at Odette. "I'll start up here, Odd. Artoo and you should look together down there."

The upperlevel was far more expansive than the below-view would lead one to believe. He sauntered through isles of books, scrolls, and an immense collections of holotech. The map areas were the only ones that received a thorough investigation from him. When he felt time slip then nudge him, Ben jogged over to the railing again to peep down Odette. He hoped, so very desperately, that she was having better luck than him. He had never been good at physical research, she however was far better.

He could hear Artoo beeping at her, though it kindly and cooperative. That was good... that's how he wanted her to be treated.

Maybe... he thought, letting it trail off as he reached into the fringes of the Force for a clue to the map.

@AHeartlessNobody lol thanks.

I felt kinda like Ren earlier. The picture reminded me that even confusion and struggle could lead to immense power when concentrated and focused.
@AHeartlessNobody I posted but I'm having trouble getting any really good ideas rolling. Though its simple enough, my brain just isn't comprehending at the moment.

I'm crazy unpredictable like that sometimes. Wish I wasn't lol.

Ben kinda felt invaded on. Luke had done this before, multiple times if he was to be honest with himself. It felt like his privacy wasn't his own sometimes, others he knew was coming from a place of affection and love. This was one of those times, he whispered to himself. When he felt a the Force nudge him, hinting at Odette's gaze, he looked.

Her questioning eyes raised a small shrug from him, it was barely noticeable.

It wasn't until Luke had brought group to a stand still had Ben let himself drift in the Force. He had come to realize that if he was to control his destiny, that he'd have to get over his fears. That included diving into the Force fully and allowing it to permeate every inch of him. Since Luke had been stressing that he control his emotions, he'd been thoughtful of just how far he should go... now he wasn't. If only for a moment he would dive as far as possible, allow it to surround him and weave its entity through him.

For a long while he was open to a infinite amount of feelings. At first he winced from the overdrive then quietly accepted it as he realized they were his own.

He didn't get the chance to fully explore it all before Luke had finished explaining everyone's jobs, duties, and whatnot.

Ben walked over to Odette only to stand a head or so over her. "What now? You lead me and I'll follow."
@AHeartlessNobody Lol I understand ^_^

I was going to try and get a post out but I'm just now realizing how tired I'am. I can barely think so I'm going to head to sleep for now. I'll kick one out later depending on when I wake up. I gotta work tonight so the latest will be tomorrow morning around 8 or 9 am.
@AHeartlessNobody Your siggy keeps tempting me to show signs of Kylo Ren lol.

I must resist the power of the Dark Side. I will lol.

I think it's going to be fun to see how we go about this. Finn and Rey sure but Poe is a long shot, though he is an exceptional pilot. Maybe he could be a force-sensitive. A lot of people thought Han was force-sensitive too ^_^
Michael Sonnen

A thunderous roar bellowed heated rock and dust, scattering the fine material against him and down the long dark maw of the tunnel. Michael felt tiny bits pierce his skin. The feeling was like pin pricks, pin pricks he could take, that pain was small compared to what he had been through over the years.

He raised to his feet cautiously, looking for any hint of weakness in the walls of the mines; explosions could rock the very structure of any mine and that brought a tinge of fear to him. To die in the mines without doing anything avenge Courtney's death would be ashame. He couldnt' imagine forgiving himself if he had.

Michael tossed that thought aside as he neared the charred, smoldering entrance of the once sealed doors. Inside, he saw spacious elevator shaft freighter. It was... old, how far back he was unsure; his education in historical tech was fruitless and not at all touched on. His lips pursed tightly as he pulled himself through the blowned hole.

Is this what they were hiding? he asked unbelieving. Why hide this?

He paused for a moment before stepping into the elevator and absentmindedly checking to see if it worked. His powerful hands motioned towards a random button, his thumb pressed down on it without caution. Soon afterwards he chided himself for his one-track mind.

"Maybe they aren't hiding this? Galatec could be pushing me... do they know they can't brainwash me?" His right fist clenched at his side while the other thumbed the scar on his nose.

I'll fight to the death.
@AHeartlessNobody Well golly when you say it like that, you make me believe too lol.
