You could respond to what sezir's character said.
Going to Momocon this weekend. Will try and post when able (need others to post first though.
Posted. Normally I would have Serin go up there to talk, but them being powerless against the enemies they fought is still kind of getting to him, so she's training her head off. If someone wants to go down there to talk to Serin though be my guest, I am up for it.
Elim wasn't talking with the others. No instead she was quite busy below deck, training with a determined look on his face. They were utterly powerless to stop that large creature and probably would have perished if it hadn't been for not only that strange blade, but the people that showed up afterwards to dispatch it. Those people were most likely stronger than that armored creature in the second and stronger form it adopted. If that was the case and it was people like them that were after their little group then they stood no chance. Even those weaker Heartless seemed to put up a decent fight against them and those things were most likely small fry.

Luckily this space below the deck seemed to be outfitted with exactly what Elim needed for training, which wasn't much. Just some objects he could set up as training dummies to practice on. They were good for practice, but Elim really wanted to test his blade against more of those Heartless. After all her teacher once told him that an hour of battle is like one hundred hours of training, or something along those lines anyway. Still training was good for sharpening one's technique and basic strength building and that was what Elim was taking the time to do. He was stuck here with these people for now, so Elim would just follow them until a chance to get back on the hunt for his prey presented itself.

Of course its not like Elim hated their company. No, not at all. He just would rather be chasing those who took everything from them and cleaving their heads from their shoulders. With this thought his flame cloaked blade slashed straight through the head of the makeshift training dummy, the young blue mage panting softly as he sat down. Currently he was not wearing his armor. No he had set it aside and chose a different ensemble for training. A white tunic and brown cloth pants. Essentially the standard outfit of any one from more medieval times, not that Elim knew that of course.

His, or rather her as without the armor one could see Elim's slightly more feminine physique that was hidden by the armor if they got a good enough look (which Elim didn't actually care about staying in disguise around these people), hair done up in a ponytail as usual so it wouldn't get in the way. Elim peered down at his blade as he sat down on the ground for a short breather, the reflection in its shiny surface showing a fiery glare as his fist clenched tighter around the grip. "Ill kill all of them...all of those accursed bandits...I swear it." This thought of anger, and a short breather of course, gave Elim new found vigor as he got back to training, testing different weapons this time. Warhammers, scythes, maces. The style his master taught him did not teach singular mastery of one weapon, but instead a spread focus in several different weapons since different weapons were best for different opponents.

He even tested something else. A bow. The sword could transform into one, but no arrows were provided. No Elim used something else. Magic. By pouring magic into the bow arrows of wind or fire could be shot from its string. A good technique, but one that was by no means battle ready since Elim just thought of it. That was what the ship travel was for though as Elim kept up training, only stopping for short breathers to drink a bit of water every now and again. Elim had no intention of going up there with the others to converse. If they needed him he would be down below, using his time wisely. He would let the others plan their course since with Elim's more backwoods world origin there was no way she could provide any viable input and he knew that. All of this stuff about Gummi Ships, Keyblades, Heartless... all of it just flew over Elim's head the entire time.

So until either someone came down to talk or they arrived at their first destination Elim would keep to herself down below deck, training and preparing herself as best as she could for whatever fights that lay up ahead before them.
Oner was the one who was manifested for their journey in the sugar themed game, using his blade skills combined with the Diaja spell or the strange and incredible control he had over Ultima to help fight off the Cy Bug and Heartless attacks. Despite his small arsenal of offensive spells Oner was no pushover and could indeed hold his own, so when he was manifested he wouldn't be slowing them down. Oner, unlike the others, was quite fond of this charming world. Well not as fond as Reno was who would have probably have at that entire ice cream mountain if he had been manifested for any longer, but it was a nice change of pace from the somewhat more grim worlds they visited like Treasure Planet, Prydain, and Narnia.

It was then that Thomas not only explained to Sergeant Calhoun what the Heartless were, but also asked a question on how to find the hive. Oner came up with an idea. Not one he admired, but an idea nonetheless. "I might have an idea..." He spoke up, making a small stride to catch up a bit with the group as he had been taking up rear point as he took in the various colorful sights, sketching them as he did. Snapping his sketchbook shut and making it vanish with a flick of his wrist, Oner walked with the others now instead of a bit behind them.

Before Oner could speak though about whatever his idea was in the blink of an eye Reno was standing, or rather floating, in his place. No slow change. Just in one moment Oner was there. In the next, Reno. "We just bring them here, it'll be easy if we make something big and flashy." That probably wasn't Oner's idea, or it might have been, but was also probably not exactly what Oner had in mind. Knowing Reno though, the boy with no restraint or tact and with, as Belle once put it (yes I am referencing one of Belle's thoughts about Reno from before the final boss battle on Prydain, deal with it), 'the guile of a brick wall', probably misinterpreted whatever Oner's exact idea was. With a grin the young boy floated a bit backwards, the markings on his face glowing with that same darkness from before as it gathered in his hands, the lines on them glowing as well. After just a moment's worth of focus he aimed his hand towards the sky. His eyes gleamed pure as a serene night black for just a single moment as he uttered one word. "Yami"

With that a large beam of magical energy that was black as the glow coming from Reno's markings shot from his hand in the same style as a Mega Flare, shooting into the sky. Since it was black as night in what looked like a world without any black in it whatsoever it would probably stand out as Reno poured more energy into it to make it bigger and shoot even further up into the sky, the power emanating from it being quite immense. After a few moments he stopped, letting the beam finish its course as he looked up at the sky, then at the others, a grin on his face. "Someone ought to have seen that right?"

Without waiting for a reply, or anyone able to get one to Reno, in the next moment Oner was standing there, having manifested now in Reno's place, his fingers rubbing the circle on his forehead as he just sighed heavily. As Reno's other half and reflection he understood just how Reno could be more than anyone else here. Heck he probably knew why Reno gave people nicknames, but that would probably be harder to explain then explain then... just about anything. "That... wasn't my plan, but once Reno sets his mind on something well..." He sighed heavily, shaking his head. "There is just no stopping him."
Frag it, going with it, Bio can post for what happens and then someone can get mad at Reno for being a dunce or something (or however you all want to react).
Ugh writer's block.

I know I need to post, but not sure of my plan of having Reno just up and launching a Dark Mega Flare into the sky to bring the Heartless and Cy Bugs to them, then the party gauges where they came from and heads that way.
Genji watched and listened, raising an eyebrow as he saw Silas effectively pull a Bokken from mid air. "That looks like some sort of dimension magic if you ask me... I am guessing that's your 'Inventory' then if you are like a game character." The martial artist took note of what the Gamer said before he pulled the Bokken out of thin air. Of course, Genji waited for Silas to end his demonstration, somewhat impressed by his show of kendo. Somewhat. He was more fixated upon the energy that seemed to envelope Silas' sword after saying that command, watching while just sort of leaning back in a more casual manner. Judging from his reactions, the things they demonstrated didn't seem all that surprising to Genji since he didn't seem to be wide eyed or show other forms of obvious surprise.

After listening to Sasha's remark Genji scratched his chin for a few moments. "Well it seems like your power is a whole interesting bag of tricks isn't it. It would take a long time of training to learn how to put ki, or mana in your case I suppose from how it felt, into a sword, yet you seem to be able to do it with just a word. Im guessing that your power is activated through voice commands, judging from hearing Silas say a few things. Couple voice activated abilities with being able to grow stronger... an inventory...experience points..." Genji's brow furrowed for a moment as he scratched the back of his head.

"I have to say I have no idea what to make of your power. If anything right now you guys are weak, but if you can easily learn interesting techniques like shooting glowing bullets or that Energy Strike technique I have to say your ability possesses an incredible amount of potential. You two seem to be Natural Ability Users, people who are either born with their ability or it just comes to them." Genji pointed to himself.

"I'm an Acquired Ability User. I wasn't born with my power. Sure I had a somewhat higher aptitude for sensing Ki when I was younger and an affinity for martial arts, but my strength was obtained through training as is the strength of all Acquired Ability Users." He suddenly stood up, walking over to a large rock that was in the training yard like area they were in. There was a Psuedospace over the entire house actually, probably put there by Genji to make the place seem closed and empty for the day. Suddenly he focused for a few moments, his hand glowing with a sort of misty, green energy. With a focused burst he backhanded the rock, crumbling and cracking heard as he pulled his fist back, a decent sized hole in the rock where his fist hit. He seemed somewhat relaxed through all of that. He could probably do more than just a hole in a rock if he applied himself in that moment, but Genji felt no reason to in order to prove his point.

"What makes an Ability User an Ability User is that our Abilities essentially break the laws of normal world physics. Whether its strength beyond human limitations, magic, ESP, or other such extraordinary feats. Most people believe this is why the Interference Law exists. The world would fall into chaos if people with powers that broke the laws of physics were going around, using their abilities freely. Of course there are limits to what even supernatural abilities can do, like creating things out of nothing is impossible supposedly. However..."

He seemed to now be somewhat confused as he looked at the two of them for a moment, just sighing heavily after a few moments, fingers pressed against his forehead. "Your power seems confusing. I mean, you can see things above people's heads, get EXP, have an Invetory... Nothing like that has ever been seen before. Most Natural Abilities start off strong, but you two seem weak right now, which makes me guess that you have a more Late Bloomer style ability. It starts off weak, but has unlimited potential for growth. To be honest, I can't really make heads or tales of what your power is. For starters, why don't you tell me everything you can do that is game world like. After that, we will be able to plan on how you two can defend yourselves from those who may be after you."

If the two of them noticed there was a book next to where Genji was sitting before he stood up. It had no title upon its cover and appeared to have a simple brown cover with red trim. He was probably reading it before the two of them showed up judging by the bookmark in it.
