I remember saying that... I did say that... that was a typo, did not mean to say that, but I think I have a way of allowing it.

Get the Rare Discovery Trait, maybe you discovered a way to learn these two conflicting magic types and thus know how to combine these two forms of differentiating magic (as trying to learn both normally ends in failure, but perhaps you discovered a way how thanks to your Magic Affinity and Dark Contract)

If you do that, then I will allow it.

Rare Discovery does allow for these kinds of things after all.

The 1/10th of your age for Reputation is rounded down to the nearest whole number, so essentially every 10 years equals +1 Reputation.

What Profession do you want? You just said Profession...

What type of Armor are you selecting? (Chain, Leather, Scale, Plate, Padded, Quilted, etc) (I am guessing Leather since it is the type you have?) (Also there is Soft Leather/Hide Armor (as they are the same) and Hard/Studded Leather (like a Hard Leather Jerkin/Curiass), so which kind?) (Hard Leather gives more protection, but has a higher Armor Penalty).

Also if your Apt is one... your chara will be pretty dumb... but that's fine, not everyone in this era is all that smart anyway (that goes for most fantasy RPGs. Of course, you will be able to speak coherently of course, but you won't be able to read (not everyone can read in this world anyway)) You have to have an Apt of 4 to be able to read automatically. You can attempt to read with a Linguistics Roll, but other than that you can't really read naturally. I kind of like it this way.

Also you do not have enough money for a Master Crafted Rapier. You could take the Heirloom Trait if you wanted to in order to get one for free...

Also, your flaws.

Flaws

Obsession (+1 XP): You are deeply obsessed at a minor level with finding clues about your parents. You often speak about finding them or actively try to seek out the clues you are somewhat obsessed with. If you fail to do so every few days then you fall into a mild malaise and suffer -1 to Willpower until you satiate your obsession by either speaking of it or trying to seek it out. If you are ever presented with attempts to seek this you must make a DL 15 Concentration Roll to try and resist going after this attempt (if you want to resist)

Jaded (+1 XP): Due to your desire of getting stronger and not really interacting with others you are pretty jaded to other people. You suffer a -1 to all Negotiation and Performance Rolls.

Unique Madness (+3 XP): You are stricken with a strange madness that causes you to hear voices or thoughts in your head. You must make a DL 15 Concentration Roll to resist these voices or otherwise you will fall into a crazed state of madness, getting a -5 to all Rolls for the next few 'Rounds' until you calm down or stave back your madness.

Also for the Bard Trait it costs 4 XP

You get the following, a +2 bonus on all Linguistic, Knowledge, and Performance Rolls (this is just a bonus, doesn't give you free ranks in the skill), and a +2 to your Reputation. Furthermore you pay 1 point less for the Words of Power Trait and any other Song based Traits that you can come up with.

For Unendings Eyes

Your flaws are the following:
Minor Pyrophobia (+1 XP): You are somewhat afraid of fire. While small fires may cause a small bit of alarm, you are more afraid of bigger fires or fire coming at you. You must make a Concentration Roll (DL 15) whenever faced with an open flame or otherwise you cannot get near it (and may even be Intimidated by it).

Lawless (+2 XP): You are not really one for following the law. For starters you get a -2 on all Negotiation Rolls with any of those who uphold the law. This is -5 if they are aware of this in some way, shape, or form (like if they are incredibly perceptive or something).

Temptation of Violence (+2 XP): You are quick to violence thanks to a dark corruption within from your contract that tempts you to violence. For starters those who can sense power can find out about your corruption. Also whenever a negotiation attempt is unsuccessful you must make a DL 20 Concentration Roll or otherwise you will try and resort to violence, intimidation, and just overall coercion to get what you want (doesn't necessarily have to be violent, could be black mail or other things, but it just has to be Intimidation).

So +5 XP for your Flaws. +6 XP from your Aptitude, so yea you get +11 XP total, which gives you 56 XP to spend at Character Creation.

Depends upon severity of Flaw.

For instance, while you would get one XP for just a minor Phobia, something like being nearly blind or having a powerful curse or corruption upon you (as in it has some really bad affect) would give you 3 XP.

Essentially it depends upon how severe the Flaw it is (the max XP a Flaw can give you is 3)

Ah. You do realize that to get both of those, you would have had to get either Apprentice twice or get both Dark Contract and Magic Affinity?

That is alot of EXP on either way right there XD
