In this era yes (maybe later in the next era magic may be more accepted, or at least Arcane Craft anyway). i have mentioned this. Those who practice Arcane Craft know it isn't evil, but they don't proclaim it to the heavens that they practice it (the Scribes, in the open, are just an order of scholars).

Most common people generally view all magic as bad shit.

Of course, failing it in a town may also (if a guard notices you acting like a mad man) get you either killed (they might assume you are being taken over by some dark force or power) or thrown in a dungeon to rot.

This is medieval times. Remember that. Especially in these archaic evil times where all magic is considered super bad shit. Someone acting like a mad man, talking to himself, they are gonna assume something not normal is up.

Endurance is meant for physical ailments (poison, disease, cold, etc).

Willpower is meant for mental ailments (fear, and other shit like that. Right now, mainly fear, but trust me, it is the most given ailment. Not too many people with mental ailment causing abilities. Well... give it time and we will get to some monsters that can do shit like that).

Yea, waiting for that one moment when he doesn't get lucky. That, and when Ryu realizes that he is GIVING ME EXCUSES TO ROLL A ROLL THAT COULD POTENTIALLY KILL HIS CHARACTER WHEN HE FAILS.

Not that I don't mind (cause I support Character Death all the way, its one of the main reasons I run game system based Rps. Its easier for characters to die in those cause you don't have to set up death with the cause of death usually being thought up bullshit or important plot stuff).

But still. I hope you have another CS on standby, and not that one you showed me in that PM. Cause if Fiore doesn't get rid of his 'room mate' or his madness (yes, Flaws can be gotten rid of in game through in game means), I betcha it will get him killed.

I mean... it could be if you are trying to just determine value, but Appraisal is really just best for objects (or animals/slaves). Its more of a skill for a craftsman/merchant rather than a botanist/apothecary.
