This is a more archaic time, so there are no schools. People either learn from their parents, on their own, from apprenticeships, or even tutors or scholars (for the more wealthy who can afford such things).

So there are no real educational institutions. Your character could have learned alchemy from an apothecary or alchemist in his hometown that he apprenticed under or whatever else you can think of, but there are no 'schools'.

The Scribes. Its the only more known scholastic order out there (its not really an institution, its just an order of scholars)

Also uhh... CS looks fine I guess (your chara would be a very distant relative though of the Ban Family, her mother probably coming from one of the other smaller branches of the clan even.
