Anyway, I posted.

As they all talked they were pretty much wasting precious preparation time for preparing for the oncoming foe that could still be on its way, or perhaps was even already there. The horses were still quite restless, probably smelling the creatures not too far as when they were a bit closer to them all back at the fire the smell was quite horrible, especially for Allereun who was able to pick up a bit more from the smell that the beasts gave off. Suddenly all but Leifr and Vialesa would hear something at the entrance of the camp. The sounds of multiple footfalls. It was either those beasts or someone else, but in the darkness it was hard to see that far, and the footfalls seemed to begin to move a bit more into the camp now, it hard to tell how many there were out there, or what they were, from the sounds.
