As Leifr steeled his nereves to try and resist the pain still resounding in his being from the Ugling's dark magic that it had used on him, he would feel that it was fading a little bit, but it was still indeed there as he charged towards the Ugling that had turned its back to attack their mysterious new ally, or so one would presume that he was an ally, the Ugling seeming to be in alot of pain in the same manner that Leifr was in at the moment. Unfortunately, despite the creature's own haltered movements, it managed to somewhat stumble out of the way of Leifr's blade, the sword missing it completely, letting the creature still remain alive for now as the Ugling Sorcerer looked quite out of shape. The creature though was more deft than one could think in its pained state though, or perhaps Leifr's horse just a bit clumsy, as its hooves also missed the mark as well.

Fortunately though the pain now seemed to fade, the affect of the dark magic on Leifr gone now, meaning that his normal movements would soon return to him. Of course, the pain from all other wounds and damage he had took was still there, but that stunning pain resounding through him was gone for now.
Your lazy, slow DM shall post shortly.
Sasha still has 2 Talent Points left from Int Bonus, unless you want to save them.
When this new figure appeared Oner looked towards him, eyes narrowing. It was never easy was it? He seemed to be a fire user, judging from the fact that he just wielded fire. Still, the exact nature of his fire was unknown, Oner not being phased too much by the nearby rock and metal heating up. It may have been hot, but the flames of Reno's Ardor, which were blue, were hotter as Blue flame was many times hotter than red flames. "I agree. I doubt that our new company has no intention of speaking to us." Reno had Blizzard spells sure, all the way up to the powerful Blizzaja, and with his precise control over elemental magics putting out fires would be no problem.

Still, there was a concern of whether or not his fires could be put out through either normal or magical means. Of course, there was only one way to find out. First, Oner dismissed Bahamhut, the figure behind him vanishing in a small flash of red light. He figured the dragon deserved a bit of rest and that they could take care of this foe without his help. Still, as much as he wanted to lay down the first strike, he figured he would go on the defensive first. He first cast Aura on himself, then on the rest of their group, including on Belle right before she left, to increase their Speed, Magical Power, Defense, and Magical Defense all with the spells Hasteaja, Shellga, Protega, and Faithga as said unique spell used all of his positive affect spells at once with low Mana cost to him.

After that, Oner simply readied his own Keyblade, figuring that he could Transform if need be, but for now he would save that trump card in case it was needed.
Ren looked at Lucian as he spoke, listening to what he had to say about his own character route. "Well, if you do plan on sticking with Nature, I think Wisdom might be your route. I noticed that for Spirit based Skills the Wisdom Stat is more the way to go, especially since it helps increase MP Regeneration and overall MP amount. You might want to put more points into that Stat instead. Your Dex could use some work to. After all, all of this power will be useless if you can't dodge anything."

After giving Lucian his own opinion on what he should work on, which may have sounded rude or condescending in both tone and the way he said it, it was fair advice for survival, if Lucian wanted to listen to it. Ren wouldn't even normally give this advice, but they all needed to work together, unfortunately, to survive or otherwise they would die. Ren hated working with others in the 3D, but knew that with their situation he had no choice in the matter, so he figured if he was going to be forced into it, might as well do so to the best of his ability.

"And yea. I am going into magic. Water Magic is a good source of healing, plus if I could get Ice I could get some CC. I plan on using the Demonology Skill Book to learn how to summon Demons for Tanks, and the spells I am learning with Black Magic will be my DoT's, Debuffs, and single enemy attackers. With Magic being a primarily Int based ability all I need to do is keep pumping up Int and maybe put a few more into Wis or Dex and I should be good. Plan on at least getting my Int to 50 before I start spreading out my points a bit more to give myself some more Vit and even Str if needed."

Ren's explanation was basic, and simple. The great thing about this power was that gaming experience could be applied towards it, figuring out what to build and how to do so thanks to the knowledge they have gained from the people they have met.
Forgot to mention this, but hitting the 25 Mark in Stats will usually give nifty Talent Bonuses (like 25 Int will give +1 Knowledge) and is usually the point where special Skills are granted sometimes (its either that or 30 depending upon your current chara build)
Sasha began to try and focus while also try and mimic Genji's movements to see if she could perform the same technique that he did, taking his strange explanation into mind. With the Breathing Technique still active, and thus Sasha's MP still dwindling a bit, it would be a small bit easier to try and understand what Genji meant with the power it gave her possibly being a part of the technique, so moving over a Kobold to test it out, she would raise one of her blades and try to bring it down onto a Kobold.
Sasha Focus: 13 - 26 Focus - 5 Skill Bonus = -18
Power. The Breathing Technique helped her energy and also her power flow more evenly and freely through her body with each breath. Through basic intuition and the feeling of this through the Breathing Technique, Sasha would be able to understand that power wasn't just in the muscles. It was within the body as well. With that sharp exhale she would let all of her power both inside and outside become raw brute force in the next moment, immensely increasing the strength of her swing by using power that normally wasn't applied in an ordinary sword swing, power that she had, but power that she never used for this purpose.
Sasha Sword Slash: 40 - 22 Melee Weaponry - 5 Skill Bonus = 13

Hit! (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 70
The slash was powerful, very powerful indeed. With the Breathing and Ki Techniques adding more damage, plus the sword mastery Skill, not to mention Sasha's rather precise strike, she was able to essentially barely pull off the same thing that Genji did, slashing through the Kobold in one single, super powered slash, the beast's HP draining all the way down with that single attack before it disappeared into nothingness just like all of the rest, unfortunately leaving behind no Item when it vanished this time either, Item drops most likely being a Luck based thing if one applied Game logic to this.

Still, the other benefits Sasha reaped from her success were two levels in Short Sword Mastery, a level in the Breathing Technique, and two other windows.

Genji, after Sasha performed the technique, clapped. "Great job, you seem to have the basics of it down. Harnessing the strengths of both your Inner and Outer Ki and letting them flow through your body to give yourself an explosive bit of brute force for a single attack. A technique that lets you use all of your strength at once instead of just your physical strength. Its a useful technique against opponents with low physical strength, especially since it could cut through weaker opponents' defenses. However, it is just a brute force technique, and brute force when met with greater brute force is easily stopped."

He then looked towards Silas. "Why don't you give it a try next?"
I wanna say that Sasha still has a level up to apply, not sure XD
I shall post shortly.

Also, for the record, Leifr only got hit by the spell once, that was the first time, the second time was aimed at the mysterious figure

(In case that was confusing)
Two of them for him to deal with huh? This wasn't looking good. Four were fighting with Kasus and Serene and three were on Jared. This wasn't looking good at all. Sure Elim could handle himself, but the others maybe not so much. Well, maybe not Kasus anyway. As Jared fought his three, getting aid from a reindeer, a man with a pick axe, and the small Frost Golem Elim was fighting two of them by himself. The Spear did indeed seem to be the best weapon to use on four legged beasts, but now two were around him, one behind and one in front.

It took a couple of moments to transform his weapon as he thought of trying for a weapon that could deal with flanking opponents, precious moments he didn't want to waste whilst surrounded by two opponents, wolves especially. So instead he tried for a different approach. With an arcane word chanted, flames suddenly burst to life around his spear, licking and moving about the surface. After that, Elim began to spin the spear quickly, in a few moments having what appeared to be a ring of fire in his hands as he span the spear quickly, the wolves seemed to back up at first.

Unfortunately these were not normal beasts and thus not afraid of fire. They were more likely just looking for an opening as soon both of them lunged. Just what Elim was waiting for. He ducked low, spinning the spear above his head. The flame covered spear-head slashed one wolf as the other was slammed by the end of it as he ducked beneath their lunges, essentially focusing on counterattacks for now as both wolves fell backwards. He took this moment and, with his own lunge, stabbed the wolf that got slashed by the flaming spear head first, plunging the spear deep in as it vanished in the same eldritch, as Elim didn't know what it was, mist that the other Heartless vanished in.

There was a neat benefit to not having to worry about a corpse. While yes, no meat or pelts could be salvaged, in combat he didn't have to worry about pulling his spear from the carcass, which was useful as the other wolf had quickly regained its balance and tried to lunge for Elim's throat now. Unfortunately it did not work. Elim held up his spear to parry, the creature biting upon it now, but being forced back as the fire on his spear burned the creature when it bit. A swift kick to the side of its head knocked it backwards a small bit and let Elim use the momentum of the kick to spin and plant the kicking foot on the ground behind him.

This gave the blue magus enough distance that, with a shout, allowed him to plunge the spear straight into the creature's head at a diagonal angle, the spear sticking right through it and into the ground. It had been a close call, Elim nearly getting hit, but he had a good amount of experience fighting wolves before, as they were pretty common in the wilds of his world. He wondered though, if they went to other worlds, how long he could use that card with things being like his own world. Well... he could cross that bridge when they came to it. For now, there were six more wolves to deal with.
