Keiko listened to Sasha discuss their various roles, staying quiet until Sasha spoke to her. It wasn't that she was a quiet person, she was just observing for now. In truth, she was also doubtful about bringing these people along since they were still quite inexperienced, but she wasn't one to go against Keiichi's orders. If need be, she would have them retreat if things got too dangerous.

"I do not possess Spells". Keiko's voice was quite pretty and gentle as she spoke, but she also spoke in an intelligent manner. She had no idea how Sasha came to that assumption, but she wasn't going to ask. "I am a Spirit Medium. I commune with the spirits and can borrow their power and request their direct aid. For example... please stand still for a moment".

She focused for a moment, putting two fingers in front of her chest. In the next moment what appeared to be paper talismans appeared in her hands. Muttering something quite quickly, it sounding like some sort of spiritual chant, beneath her breath for a few seconds, some form of power began to focus itself into the three talismans. With a wave of her hand they all flew from the two fingers she was holding them between at Silas, Erica, and Sasha, hitting them in the heart.

"Please Protect Them" She chanted, the talismans glowing before what appeared to be some sort of aura enveloped their bodies before vanishing, the talismans vanishing as well into the aura that had disappeared.

"Those are protective talismans, made by borrowing power from Guardian Spirits. They should protect you from several blows or one serious blow. Granted you still shouldn't try to get hit, but its always good to be prepared. I prepared them for the operation today, and I have more if needed", her expression growing a bit more serious and concerned as she said one more thing, "but lets hope that they aren't needed". It was a good hope to have.

"So I will be providing support from behind through the spirits as I can summon them to fight with you, or use their power to aid your own abilities. Of course... I can still fight close quarters if need be, but" she seemed to put a bit more serious, intellectual emphasis on these next words, "your goal is to find answers according to what you all said earlier, reconnaissance essentially. It is not to fight. Keiichi and the others are providing the distraction, but that doesn't mean that they will draw the attention of all of the enemies. We should focus on stealth, moving quietly and quickly. If there are enemies, we get the jump on them before moving on. So once in, we all stick together, move quietly, and stay out of conflict. Understood?"

She didn't want to seem bossy, and didn't actually. Her tone was intelligent, her words showing legitimate facts. The Gamers were here to find the answers that the Void Wizard told them that they could find, not fight everything that breaths. So Stealth was probably a good option to consider, especially since if they used it and ran into an enemy, they could get the jump on them before they were noticed, making any fights quick and instant.
Touma looked towards Mike as he asked his question, Keiichi and the others going over a quick checklist of what they needed to do, so Touma was the one to address Mike's question here as he had been looking at Ren's group as they talked, looking as if he was gauging their strengths, looking a bit pleased at how things were going. "Yea, you guys are newbies right? If Hunters did attack you then there is a chance that it is connected to this base here, and as for your second question..." Touma paused, scratching his head. Slavery was a sensitive subject, really hard to explain despite it being simple.

"Maybe a source. This base appeared here not too long ago, so there probably hasn't been too much slave trafficking through here. What we are mainly concerned about is how these guys have gotten resources beyond the normal means of hunters, and are even bold enough to encroach upon the Void Wizard's domain. I mean, that guy is someone that even ten of me couldn't beat, as he's badass enough to be his own one man army that watches over the land in the Port Island District".

"That's right". Keiichi walked over, Touma having finished speaking by the time the others were finished discussing teams. "You might be aware of this already, but everything in the Abyss is ranked based upon monster killing efficiency. From F to S. There are those who are so powerful though, they are known as Unknown Ranks. The Districts of this city are watched over by various groups. The Ban Family keeps watch over the Residential district. We, the Enforcers, have our base in the Entertainment District. The Void Wizard, by himself, protects the Port Island District. The Business and Industrial Districts are both neutral Auction territory where anyone who pays enough can do whatever business they want in the land without interference".

After that bit of addressing Mike's question, and giving them all some useful information about the city through it, Keiichi assumed that the teams had been set. Keiko went with Silas' group and Henry with Ren's.

Saya stood up now, the mirrors vanishing as she walked over to Keiichi. "There are 22 humanoids inside. 15 are around Rank F, 4 Rank E, and 3 Rank D". Her voice was a bit quiet as she spoke.

Touma smirked, hitting his fists together. "Some Rank D's huh. Looks like this'll be a fun night after all".

"Did you manage to gather how they managed to make a Psueodpsace like this, something that should be out of the means of ordinary hunters?" Keiichi seemed concerned that there were Rank Ds among their midst. Hunters were usually thugs, Rank F - E. Rarely were there any people who were Rank D and stayed Hunters.

Saya simply shook her head in response.

"Alright, remember the plan. Either Ten minutes after the distraction or on Saya's signal, you all go in through the side entrances. I recommend heading to the top floor if you're able to. We will try and direct chaos to the middle floor" He looked towards the Gamers, giving one last bit of advice. "If any of you need to communicate with any of us, just do so through Henry or Keiko, and make sure that you aren't separated from them. This is a team operation and we all need to stick together..."

Keiichi looked at Keiko and Henry, not saying anything, but giving a nod instead, the two of them nodding back in return. After that, Keiichi drew his bokken and simply said "May Fortune and Justice favor you" as if it was some sort of motto. After that, he, Nero, and Touma ran towards the building and barged into the front.

The Operation had Begun

"Alright you three" Henry looked at Ren's group. "Follow me, we need to be in position to enter or retreat on signal". Henry's group of Ren, Mike, and Lucian would go to the right entrance.

"Lets all be careful, alright". Keiko spoke now, taking her group to the left entrance, Saya going back beneath the tree where she had been meditating beforehand.

The next ten minutes for the Gamers would be to get out any last discussions of abilities, questions to the Enforcers with them, or perhaps take care of any last minute preparations that they needed to do. For now, the operation had begun
Reno just looked up at Jake as he was carried, glad that they were running away. He wasn't one for battle, as fighting always hurt everyone involved, whether physically, mentally, or emotionally. He never understood why people fought. Why people desired to be stronger than others. Why couldn't everyone just live in peace? These thoughts went through Reno's head as he focused on replenishing both his Mana and Oner's Spirit. It was all of this that made him off guard when that Elven woman suddenly appeared, as Reno was always quick to react to anything. The moment she attacked, everything went dark.

Fortunately attacking the marks in a physical matter didn't actually do any more damage than attacking his actual body would. If anything, it was focusing there that saved Reno from taking more damage than he would have. Granted only a minuscule amount, but every bit counted. After they were deposited and left alone, Reno being unconscious, a flash of light would envelope his body, Oner now lying in his place as he slowly sat up, clenching his fists. "Heal". With a wave of his hand, the powerful healing of multiple curaja spells ran over the whole party as Oner spent every drop of Mana that his fully recharged mana reservoirs possessed to aid the others in healing their wounds, fatigue, and pain, even able to use this on Reno by touching the mark on his forehead.

After that, Oner said nothing, closing his eyes as he turned inwards to his thoughts, or his and Reno's, as he meditated and focused his body, mind, and spirit. Was this journey truly for them? Two people who wish to fight to protect others, yet both who dislike battle? He remembered something that Serin, their foster father, had once told him. That no matter what sort of craft or trade, be it magic, swords, or even cooking; there is always someone out there who is better than you. These words struck true more than ever. Their opponents had been easily falling to Reno's incredible magical might before, and the enemies here were no match for his and Reno's newly combined might.

Had he grown arrogant? Were they arrogant to always hold back in fear of hurting anyone? No matter where Oner traversed in the vast expanse of their mind, there was no true answer to this question that he could come up with right away. Should they discard there desire to not harm others, a hypocritical desire? All of these thoughts were moving through Oner's head, the light swirling through the marks on his body like a slow, yet turbulent storm as he contemplated and meditated.

One of them seemed to support Keiichi's thinking while another seemed to want to go ahead and go on with their Quest, and another seemed wary of the group, that one being Silas. Mike having to mutter Observe very quietly as to not sound completely weird for saying it five times, as there was no point on using it on Keiichi since Mike had used it on him before. Mike obtained the same info that Lucian did, minus the personality details and a bit of a smaller description on their abilities since his Level in Observe, which went up by 1, wasn't as high as Lucian's was. When he tried to observe Saya, however; a mysterious thing happened. The following window appeared.

It was unclear as to why this may be. Perhaps his Level in Observe wasn't high enough, or maybe it had something to do with her Class, which was Clairvoyant. She seemed even more mysterious than Nero was, who had the following Observe Data when Mike used the Skill on him and had no MP listed in his stats for some reason, but had a ridiculous amount of HP, even more than what Boss Mobs possessed. He was probably quite powerful, even if his stats said otherwise.

"Nah, we won't do that unless you want us to, we're just here to squash this Hunter base". Touma looked at Silas for a few moments, giving a few nods as if he was examining Silas over, trying to garner what his strengths were. After this he looked back at Keiichi. "Why not let them come along Keiichi". It appeared that the way they talked to Keiichi that he may have been the leader of this outfit, despite being younger than all of them at the age of 17. Touma was the one who had stepped forward to speak, a grin on his face.

"Touma, you kn--" Before he could continue, he was cut off by Touma.

"Now now, don't be such a hard ass Keiichi~" He laughed, placing an arm around his shoulder. "Even you yourself said we would probably need a bigger team for this mission. They may be runts, but they seem to have guts and don't seem to be all that powerless".

Keiichi considered these words for a moment before heaving a heavy sigh, shaking his head as if he was perplexed why he was about to say what he was going to say. "Alright, you all can come along. With this way, we can split into teams". Keiichi moved the arm off of his shoulder, taking a few steps to the side of both groups as he looked at them all, formulating a plan.

"With a team as big as this, stealth will not be entirely likely, so Touma, Nero, and I will go in first and create a big distraction, hopefully wiping out some of their stronger fighters or disrupting the normal flow of their base".

Touma responded positively to this plan with a "Hell yea! Now you're talking" while Nero said nothing. Keiko seemed to sigh and shake her head, mumbling something inaudibly beneath her breath.

"Naturally Saya will stay out here and relay information to the rest of us, including Henry and Keiko, who will each go with your group". It was unclear as to why Keiichi was leaving this girl, who was Level 5, outside of the enemy base by herself, but he must have his reasons.

He looked to Ren and the others now. "You're group will split itself in half, Henry going with one half and Keiko with another. If the Void Wizard did send you here then he, or she, must have had good reason to and there is something large here that will benefit us all if we can retrieve it. So your two teams will each go in through one of the side entrances and move with stealth, hopefully not having to fight as much since the distraction team will be drawing a large portion of their strength away, since your teams will wait ten minutes after the distraction begins to enter". Keiichi seemed like a natural born leader, brimming with confidence and respect as he spoke out his plan, but he did so in a way that made him out to be humble and considered the strengths of each of his teammates.

"If all goes smoothly, we will not only take down the base, but also figure out why the Void Wizard decided to send you all here despite how dangerous it is. Even with your unique.. Gamer ability as I hear its called, I still think its dangerous, but its too late for that".

Saya, in the meantime, had moved away from the group, sitting near a tree as she closed her eyes and began to meditate, several mirrors appearing around her as her body began to glow softly.

"While Saya gathers more information, you all decide how you'll split your group, and choose carefully, but quickly, as we are running out of time".
Posted.
Lucian would manage to get out four Observes and Mike pull out his Crystal ball and begin to gaze in it. Five windows appeared in front of Lucian. Four being Observe Data, one being that Observe went up a Level. The four windows of data said the following.

Keiichi was dressed in a white outfit that was much like the outfits that the others, except two of the members of this group, were dressed in, as if it was a uniform of some kind. On his hip was a real katana and a wooden bokken.

This girl wore the same type of white garb that Keiichi was wearing, but naturally it looked like a slightly more feminine version of the uniform, having a slightly longer skirt instead of pants, the uniform for both female and male helping to provide protection and mobility.

This man wore the same white uniform that the others were wearing, but also wore a fedora and a red trench coat, unbuttoned.

Touma appeared to have a smirk on his face. Unlike the four others, he wasn't wearing the uniform at all and wasn't even wearing shoes. Instead he just had bandages around his feet, this one looking quite eager about something.

Before Lucian could use Observe on anymore or Mike divine any information with his skills in divination a shadow suddenly appeared under all of them, Ren's eyes widening. Unfortunately, try as they may, they would be unable to get away in time, the vision of all of them growing black before it returned to normal, Ren and the rest now in front of this group of six unknowns, or five unknowns and one known.

The man in black, who appeared quiet, seemed to have some sort of aura of shadows about him for just a moment, it being not far from the truth to say he might have had something to do with whatever happened. "And just who might you all be?" This man spoke, his voice dead serious and cold, the dark claws on his hands gleaming. Above his head was simply 'Nero Lv 33' and above that 'Shadow Manipulator'.

"Hold on Nero" Keiichi stepped forward, looking at Mike. "These are not our enemies, but they also should not be here..." Keiichi sighed heavily, shaking his head a little. "Why are you all here? Its dangerous walking right into the territory of the very people who are after you--"

"Like delivering yourself in gift wrap to the enemy" Nero interrupted, Keiichi looking towards him.

"Not... exactly what I wanted to say, but yes, that is the case..."

Now that the Gamers were closer to this group of six, they could get a good look at all of the members of this group now, one of them being a bit different than the rest. A girl who looked a bit young and was only Level 5. Saya Fushima was her name, and above that was her class, Clairvoyant. It was unclear as to why a Level 5 was here, but her class was also a bit strange as well. She was wearing garb similar to Keiko's.

"We are here because the Void Wizard asked us to come here, at this exact time of midnight". It was about 12:01 AM right now. "And I think with you all here I know why. The Void Wizard might have known you all were coming here, so sent us here to get your help in finding out whatever he wanted us to find out, as apparently he told us that we could find some... answers... here". Ren knew that his explanation might not have been great, but Keiichi and Mike seemed to know each other, so he hoped that this group, who seemed much more powerful than the Gamers, would trust them.
Ren Negotiation: 16 - 44 Negotiation = -32
"The... Void Wizard?" Keiichi seemed a bit taken aback. Before they could decide upon it, the slightly shorter girl spoke up, this one seeming very quiet in tone of voice as she spoke.

"They're telling the truth..." It was unclear whether she believed Ren or something was telling her otherwise.

"Its incredible how the Void Wizard was able to find out that we were doing our mission at this time if what you say is true... but if Saya says its true then it most likely is..." Keiichi sighed heavily, shaking his head. This still wasn't a good thing regardless, Keiichi wondering what the Void Wizard was thinking. "Still, even if the Void Wizard suggested that you come here you shouldn't, its still too dangerous and I suggest that you all turn back now".
The Enforcers

That insult went right over Reno's head. "Well of course they would, i'm not really good at hitting things with swords". He grinned, his obviously innocent self showing here, Reno looking as though he was completely unaffected by the fire from before, Oner having used his energy to make sure of that. Of course, the other insults about them being worth time and effort also went over Reno's head. He never really cared for such things such as combat or battle, but his answer to this elfin woman's inquiry was obvious, his own elfin ears moving a small bit as he pondered.

"Well, I'm not really a warrior and I don't really like fighting". He gave a nod, looking at the girl and Jake as he moved over to them. "After all, whenever people fight, someone always gets hurt, and that's not fun at all". He had a slightly serious expression on his face. "I am only fighting though to protect my friends, and fighting for the hope that one day..." He looked at his hands, a blue fire forming over one of them before vanishing after he looked into it for a bit. "Our universe will become one where Power isn't necessary. Where people don't need to fight". He gave a smile as he looked back up at both Jake and the opponent they had been fighting.

"I know that it may be futile or hopeless to want this type of thing, but I do not believe that it is impossible, and thus I want to do all I can to make a world where we don't have to fight at all". It may have seemed like a childish dream, but Reno's eyes and expression were both sincere and wise, wise beyond his years. While it wasn't often, actually it was incredibly rarely, Reno would have moments where he acted much wiser than he usually did.
