The way was shut, it was made by some woman in a blue dress, not that Elim knew this, but the collapsing of the bridge effectively separated them from Jared. As if that wasn't bad enough, now they had a giant Frost Golem to deal with, or what looked like a beast made of snow more than anything. A smirk formed on Elim's expression. This would be easy enough. "So this world does have Frost Golems after all... interesting". Elim unsheathed his blade, the blade glowing as it once again transformed into a large Glaive. A quick chant of the word "Fire" and the weapon's blade was engulfed in flames.

This creature looked a bit like that much smaller one, something made of snow rather than frost or ice. Whoever made this thing certainly chose a shitty material to compose it out of. It didn't matter how imposing this creature looked, a weapon of hot metal would slice through it like butter. Of course, that was if it was made of snow. If not, then just a fiery weapon would still deal more damage. "You heard our 'leader', get her Highness out of here, ill take on this thing alone, the rest of you will only slow me down". Elim still wasn't pulling punches. Sure he had agreed with Jared to help train them, but he hadn't had the chance to train them yet, and in his own eyes the way they were now would only just slow him down.

Deciding to test the waters and his theory about this beast, and not really caring about any responses the group had to Elim's demand for them to leave, Elim charged forward, weaving back and forth as carefully as he could, yet quickly to avoid any crushing fists, as he wasn't going to hold back, not that he ever did. Large monsters like this were usually somewhat slower, or at least their attacks were easier to predict. Not only that, but the legs. By taking out the legs this thing would undoubtedly be alot easier to vanquish. The legs first, then find the core of this thing and destroy it.

So after ducking low he ran, slashing the left leg when he got close with the fiery hot weapon, using the momentum of his first slash to slash the second leg. Elim wasn't going to stop there though. Gritting his teeth, he would keep up the assault on this creature's legs exclusively until the beast fell, as that was his first plan, and he wasn't going to stop until this thing was on the ground like a helpless beast, a small part of Elim hoping that this wouldn't be easy as normal magical logic dictated.
Ah, thought we had all made it into the castle (or at least more than Jared anyway)
so is the party in the castle or not?
Also if Aeron and Bio don't post soon, I am skipping their turns and still making their characters open for being attacked.
"Just get ID Create to Level 10". Ren ignored Mike's tantrum for the most part until he pulled out some strange book and began to talk about Hyperbolic Time Chambers. "Once you get ID Create to Level 10, you will be able to create a Time Compression Pseudospace that gives you two hours for every hour you spend in there. Just a warning though, the longer you remain in one, the more it detriments your abilities and makes it harder to train thanks to an ailment known as Time Compression Stress". Ren explained this calmly and quietly as he was in the middle of using the Meditation Skill to restore his MP. It would just take a couple minutes probably for Ren to be back up to full MP, since Meditation boosted his already high MP Regeneration to even higher levels.

Henry only slightly listened to their conversation, and instead was examining the dead corpse of the Spatial Mage and the unconscious and bound Necromancer. He was mainly looking at the strange rings on their fingers, a perplexed look on his face. "These rings are real pieces of work... they contain some pretty powerful dark magic, things that regular Hunters shouldn't have". He sighed and shook his head as he discovered that they weren't coming off. Giving up on that for now, he stood up as he also pulled out four Potions from each of the unconscious foes. He handed Mike, Lucian, and Ren two potions, a red one and a blue one, before pocketing the remaining two, figuring that they'd be useful for later.

"Seems they also had a good amount of money to get instant healing potions. Its clear that these guys aren't your ordinary pushovers, they're pushovers with resources beyond their stereotypical means". A usage of Observe would reveal that they were Quick Healing and Quick Energizing Potions. The Healing ones restored 100 HP and the Energizing ones restored 100 MP. From the way Henry worded that statement, instant healing potions weren't that easy to come by, which was something Ren had never thought of since he was able to get alot from Boss Mobs, guessing that there wasn't information on the Auction about how the Gamer Power could produce free items.

After five minutes, since everyone didn't use a whole lot of HP and MP, their HP and MP would be at full. Also, Henry sensed the Curse that had been placed on Mike and was quickly able to Dispel the curse, which took an extra minute since it took the weaving of several arcane spells, but Henry figured it was time worth wasting since he knew that kind of curse could be a real pain in the ass, real quickly. Of course, this didn't restore Mike the three Stat Points that he lost, but it got rid of the nasty 30% Physical Stat Drain that he had from it.

"Alright, if that's everything, lets get moving. We've wasted enough time resting as it is". In a normal operation Henry would have never spent this long resting, but there was nothing normal about this. Plus he figured for the sake of the rookies here they could wait and rest a bit. Plus its not like the enemies were too tough, but Henry wasn't going to underestimate anything here.

With that, Henry's group left this room and moved forward, able to get to the next floor with little to no problems.
What balances out Merli's abilities is that he won't be able to use them as often (as using Magic takes energy), so at the beginning he/she won't have too much magical power to throw around naturally, but as they grow stronger her magic will be able to be used more often and for longer periods of time.
Just realized that someone else already has amnesia. Oh well XD

Is this still open? Cause it looks cool.

Well, it may be time for a reboot
I haven't heard from anyone really....
So they knew what Reno was? Well that wouldn't be surprising if they had watched their group and overheard their conversations. Its not like Oner intended for it to be a secret either. Of course, they didn't know what he was in the beginning, as the man who first came from this organization assumed that Reno and Oner were two souls in a single body which wasn't entirely too far from the truth, but at the same time was also pretty far off as well. The thought of wanting to fight for fun, being raised to fight, or seeking fights to test ones might were all concepts that were foreign to both Reno and Oner.

Serin had taught him Magic as both a pursuit of knowledge and as a way to be able to use it to help people. If anything, Oner and Reno knew why they fought. To protect others and the peace that they all deserve. To fight for fun though and to hurt others for enjoyment? That was a vile thought according to Oner, and even Reno knew that wasn't right. But its not like they could change someone just like that. They already realized that a long time ago. Oner didn't really think that the answer to Reno's question, of why this mysterious group was helping their own, but decided to just forgo mentioning this detail for now. If just Fighting was their reason for helping, then it was clear that Oner would get no more answers from them.

But still, may have been why they lost that fight, because Reno and Oner's reason wasn't there since they weren't fighting for peace or to protect others. Sure they were fighting with Jake to help him and that could count as protecting someone else, but ultimately it was a fight of self defense, a fight that Oner and Reno both thought was unnecessary and pointless. It was why they held back, which was perhaps arrogant of them. Would they need to go all out next time? Would that help next time? They would need to be alot stronger though, and Reno and Oner both thought of someone who could give them more power than they had now. The problem was finding the time to talk with this person.

Both halves of the Denizen knew that they would need to find the time though, and if they couldn't find it then they needed to make the time, and hopefully the rest of their Quest to gather the Signs would give them that time.
