As Mushi moved forward, aiming his wand at the wounded goblinesque creature it would be a bit hard to aim at two creatures fighting, Elik's large frame indeed giving the creature a bit of cover, but that wouldn't be too much of an issue if the bolt hit the beast. The moment he chanted the Weapon Skill name, the wand shone lightly before suddenly a bolt of magical energy was expelled from the wand and towards the creature, it being maybe around the size of a softball and blue in color, a bit of Mushi's own MP being drained as he used the Weapon Skill.

Fortunately the bolt hit the beast dead on, the magical energy making the creature cry out before it fell to the ground, being no more as the bolt had hit the beast dead on and threw it to the ground, the bomb in its hand rolling out of it. The body remained there though despite all of that, this probably being another element of the game's realism, the body not disappearing upon death, it probably being something that could be searched for loot, but that would have to wait until the other three were defeated. A window appeared in front of all of the players stating the following.

Since they were all in a party, they probably earned equal XP for all of the kills, especially since they were also all the same level. Still, this definitely meant that one enemy was dead, leaving the swordsman, archer, and what was possibly a wounded mage. This battle was going very smoothly thus far.

A window appeared in front of Mushi though after his wand's skill was a successful hit, followed by a second one after that.

Elim wasn't one to celebrate in battle, but even he was he would wait until he could confirm the enemy's death. That wasn't the case here as the a red piece of ice suddenly shot up, ice and snow forming back around it, Elim smirking. That wasn't as fruitless as normal people would think. "By revealing your weakness, you've sounded your death knell". They just needed to get to that core and smash it, simple enough. Of course, first they had to deal with the sudden large piles of snow that was catapulted towards them in an attempt to bury them alive.

Elim wasn't going to be a sitting duck. He quickly charged forward, gritting his teeth as instead of trying to dodge the pile, he used a bit more magic to intensify the blaze over the entirety of his weapon, spinning it rapidly above his head. This ring of fire above Elim acted as a shield. Of course, it wasn't perfect, some bit of snow still bashing into Elim, but he gritted his teeth and pressed onward towards the creature, baring the assault of snow.

"Your attacks are soft, just like that shell around you!" Elim cried this out loudly as once again, with a mighty spin of his weapon, he the fiery blade of the glaive slashed through the leg of the giant once again, but Elim wasn't going to give it a chance to regenerate. Instead of focusing damage onto both legs, he did it on one, making a second powerful cleave to cut the leg off completely, or so he hoped it would.

Either way, once the leg was off, the beast would have to drop to one knee, giving Elim time to get the other leg so that he could try and get on the creature's back after that.
Well, posted for the two who did post. First actual Critical of the game (getting within the range or a Critical Success, which starts at 0 and goes up every 10 points you get in Luck, which is how I found to make Luck useful aside from its many other uses).

Ominal got a 1 on that attack roll (on the dice) XD

Which aside from being a Critical Strike allows an extra affect. In this case, the one that made the most sense was knocking the opponent prone.
These goblinesque creatures were probably around three feet tall, meaning they would be a small bit harder to hit due to their small frames and heights, but that didn't mean it was impossible. Elik charged forward first, shield raised as he aimed to bring his sword down upon the creature with the bombs, his shield slowing him down a small bit thanks to how heavy it was. Still, he was able to swing his sword nonetheless, hopefully able to hit what was probably a swift creature.

Elik's blade struck incredibly deep and true, the creature with the bomb in his hand letting out a loud screech of pain as it sunk in deep. A visible, red gash could be seen on the beast representing the cut, but there was no blood. It was more like it was glowing red slightly. There being no blood was probably due to the Realism Controversy that happened in the VR Gaming world a while ago, with games that had realistic death and gore effects traumatizing players and even awakening serial killers that would have never been awakened otherwise. It was quite the hot topic when VR Gaming first hit the scene and was quite the common knowledge among those who kept up with that sort of news.

The company who made this ultra realistic game were sued and actually went bankrupt due to all of the lawsuits and damages that they had to pay for. Needless to say, since then people who made VR Games made sure to to follow the Realism Code as set up after that controversy happened.

So while the sensation of the blade sinking into the goblin could be visibly seen and even 'felt' in a way, like as if he was actually cutting into a real monster in a way that one would forget that they were cutting into a game sprite, the glowing red gash down its torso would instead represent the wound rather than a bloody wound. There were no HP Bars or anything of the sort that appeared, but it was clear from how ragged the breathing of this creature was and how it was clutching its chest after that nasty blow that it was probably near death and in really bad shape. The sword did sink in incredibly deep after all, the heavy bastard sword a bit slower, but able to deal some serious damage.

Right after Elik made that rather swift, deep blow a window appeared before him, that one disappearing after he would close it and then another one taking its place.

Apparently to unlock skills, or one way to do so at least, was through 'Special Actions', which probably meant that Skills could be obtained through experimentation or other such things. There was no time to figure out that though, as all four enemies were still up, but there was one that was probably near to being out.

Next to react in that instant chance they all had to attack was Ozwald, who moved swiftly and aimed to throw a knife at the robed creature, this one possibly being a mage of some type due to its robes, but it was impossible to tell, Ozwald getting closer so that his Proximity Shot passive would give a damage bonus if he hit.

The knife flew truer than true, the thrown knife stabbing the robbed creature right between the shoulder blades before it could even react, a red 'Critical' appearing above its head before anyone could even register it, the creature having been knocked down somehow by the sudden attack as it cried out loudly, the knife sticking out from a softer point in the body. While it wasn't dead, it being prone meant that it had to spend time getting up and was a bit more open to melee attacks. A few windows appeared for Oz after his attack.

With all of these windows appearing, Oz was getting quite the bonuses, the +1 Thrown Weaponry one literally making him feel as though he was now a small bit better with thrown weapons. It was quite a weird sensation really, suddenly becoming better at something, and literally feeling it, because there was an increase in a number. This game was incredible indeed.

Still, there were two unharmed opponents and two opponents that looked quite close to death. Either way, if the heroes acted quickly, they may be able to wrap up this battle before the enemy even had a chance to strike.
Changed Wands.

Weapons like those (and other supernatural weapons) will have Weapon Skills. Used just like any other Skill (by saying its name), only you need to have the Weapon equipped to use them. There are even some weapons or other forms of equipment that have Passive Skills as well (but these are extremely rare)
Sort of want Keiko's and Henry's group to go into that room at the same time... so im kinda waiting for Val to post again, but I may skip her (but not leave her open since she said that she was sick, which is completely understandable)

You wanted combat, I give you combat.

Hellz yea.

Time for bitches to die combat.
Or someone could just respond to the combat rather than the party invite then everyone else can catch up from there.

And no I don't speak Japanese, but you don't need to know the lyrics to enjoy a song.

As for watching anime, watching it in subs is not that hard if you're good at multitasking.
Silas, with all of his immense rage, channeled and focused it like a burning fire within and with that used it to stab the nearest helpless foe. The creature was quite weakened, and in alot of pain, but it was about to receive even more pain from Silas' blade, this one and the one that actually killed Erica still being the only two left after Erica pretty much destroyed, or so it looked like anyway, two of them.
Silas' Wrath: 0 (Critical!)
Somehow, as Silas imagined a fire within, he could feel something rising forth along with his anger. As he rushed the blade towards the creature, which hit without much effort thanks to it being chained and thus helpless, his katana, let out some strange power as he stabbed into the beast with his anger. Perhaps it was the Inner Ki Technique and his ability to thus channel Ki through that, spiritual power through the Tamashi no Nessho, which was a technique that burned spiritual power to increase one's fighting capabilities like fuel on a fire, and even the Breathing Technique that all aided this.

But the moment he struck, what looked like some form of greenish, bluish fire, but more ethereal really, burned the beast as he struck with the inner fire of his rage. The attack easily drained the rest of its HP as he impaled the beast straight through, this strange fire-like energy burning and blasting the creature apart from within, draining a good bit of Silas' MP, but also finishing that one "tumor" in the process as it was no more, the circle that summoned it still being there, but it was gone for now.

After Silas killed that beast, a few windows appeared for him, a small bit of Silas' HP also drained after that powerful strike.

Silas could still feel, if he was still pissed off that is, this fiery, although it didn't feel hot, power burning within him, Keiko just staring, a bit stunned and just utterly... shocked... at how Erica had just disappeared. It really was no time to be impressed with Silas' new power, Keiko probably not even noticing it really. She was more simply... overwhelmed... by the fact that someone had just vanished or died... or whatever the hell just happened, in her arms, leaving behind some strange treasure chest nonetheless.

With still one creature left, this one being at full health, it was time to avenge Erica and try to figure out just what to do next.
Anime music.

Also, now that we are back from the guild breaking down, feel free to start posting again (this is for everyone) since it won't be my post until we get to that combat I progressed us to in the IC XD
