Personality:
Rainer has a non-confrotational personality, best described as the kind of person who knows how to fight, yet doesn't like to. He's the kind of person who tries to empathize with others and help people see the point of views of others, due to the anxiety disagreements cause him. While he is slow to open up to people he does not know, those who gain his trust will find it hard to lose it, lest he feels that he has been betrayed on a personal level. He will stand firmly by his ideals and moral values, with those he trusts becoming akin to the ideals he protects. Because of this, his loyalty is unwavering, which causes him to somewhat expects (and also inspires) the same level of loyalty in return.
Rainer also has a tendency not to speak up very often, yet when he does, he reveals an intelligence that captures the attention of all those who are listening, especially because of his ability to empathize and efforts to relate to all those he speaks to.

History:
Rainer grew up spend much of his time on his own, either reading, listening to music or playing games. While he never was one for team sports, he did find that he had a passion for martial arts, enjoying the fact that he seemed to have an uncanny sense of balance and the ability to leap impressively high and far, a skill he also ended up using in athletics events at school, such as High Jump and Long Jump. He also found that, whilst not the fastest in the school, he was quite fast in the sprinting events. Athletics did not interest him as much as martial arts, however, and it quickly became one of his four major passions, the other three being the aforementioned reading, music and games.

Rainer would find himself challenging his body and imagination by attempting new forms of kick, attempting to jump as high as possible to land increasingly intricate attacks as well as annoying his parents, cutting up broomsticks and dog chains creating homemade Nunchaku, some padded with bicycle tire tubing for practice.
Apart from that, Rainer led a normal life, his favorite school subject being English where he constantly received A's, but otherwise being an average C-grade student. His home life was routine and normal with Rainer largely keeping to himself at school.
