hmmm, somewhat.

Its more like the two are their own beings, but they are also each other, like Persona for instance (I am thou, thou art I). They are two wholes that are also two halves of the same existence. They can combine their selves and merge to temporarily transform (resulting in a cool appearance change, again read Oner's CS) and combine their mights. As seen in my post when Oner (transformed) spoke, he spoke with both Reno's and Oner's voice, which is more like them both being out at the exact same time, them both being the 'dominant personality' as you put it.

Cause I don't really want Reno/Oner to be assumed as split personalities the entire time, especially with the drive form/transformation they possess obviously being something beyond a split personality or two souls inside of a single body.

And I really need to get a post out where Oner explains everything (including the fact that he and Reno are an existence that is not human), but with all the other stuff going on right now I don't think he is really going to be paid attention to, so its gonna be a little hard to do so.

I guess Oner's different appearance from Reno didn't affect Jake (or other people) that much?

(He has pointed ears (that are pretty much elfin) now, white circle on the middle of his forehead with lines going down both sides of his face and body from said circle, jet black hair... his eyes changed color) XD

Oner sighed as Ascot seemed to lose immediate interest in continuing the fight as he paid attention and played with Amelia. Oner figured that even Satoko wouldn't attack Ascot while he was playing with a young child. If she did, then that would leave Oner to question her sense of priority. Of course, none of that was said out loud. In fact, it was a simply a mere passing thought as he stepped off of the arena, just in time to see Jake, Thomas, and two other people he had never seen before arrive on the scene. Jake immediately went to questioning Oner, asking him of his identity and wondering just what had occurred here.

"You could say that I am Reno. I am Reno's reflection, his other self. Oner. Of course, Reno is also my reflection and my other self as we are the same person, but at the same time not the same". Oner scratched the back of his head as he began to try and figure out how to explain it. It truly was a hard to explain fact due to for Oner and Reno it was just a natural thing, natural like the air people breath. "Its hard to find a proper way of putting it, as not even that mysterious figure who came not to long before you all arrived, causing chaos when he did, had it right despite how much he seemed to know about all of the others". Oner just sighed and shook his head before returning his gaze upward towards Jake.

"But for all intents and purposes, Reno is indeed safe. Fast asleep and out like a light, but safe nonetheless".

I just think they are something that can be used in harrowing situations (when shit has gone south essentially)
