Personality: Hana is a very self-sufficient girl, denying help as long as she possibly can in the hopes of accomplishing the task on her own. She has an active imagination that is always working in overdrive, twisting her current scenario into some fantastic scenario, and she was almost always the heroine in her own mind. Though she was exceptionally shy with everyone at one point, this has dwindled to the point where she's only shy around people she likes. She's often considered peculiar, because she takes the phrase "finish what you started" to a new level. If she truly commits to something, of her own free will, she absolutely refuses to stop until the task is done, regardless of the odds.
Contrary to her determination, she also has a very relaxed side to her side. Hana, when caught at home, is actually exceptionally lazy. She tries her best to avoid working at home, indeed sometimes to the detriment of her grades, however if explicitly asked to do something she'll do it. She's a notorious night-owl, rarely going to bed before 2 AM when the choice is left to her. She is incredibly patient, however when driven to anger, she is blazing mad, and very rarely considers the effects of her actions after her bout of anger, leading her into some tough spots.
History: Hana grew up in Hokkaido, in a small town with one stoplight, a Food Giant and little else, except for the people living in it. Amy was always a short girl, and she got picked on a lot when she was younger. Her father was the manager of the local bank, so the family always had plenty of money. However, Hana's father was a military man, one of the first Japanese men to make US Army Special Forces to be exact. Minato Yamazuki always taught his daughter not to let others bug her, and to always make sure to act strong. Growing up, Hana took this to heart and began to participate in any sport she could to prove to others that just because she was smart didn't make her a nerd
Of course, the only sport she truly excelled at was running, since most of her height was leg. She was an OK sprinter, but more than that an excellent distance runner. So, she stuck with running and ran both Track and Cross Country, however in Middle School she discovered another sport. She was an excellent shot, as it turned out, so she joined the school's Shooting Team. Balancing three sports teams and her grades would've swamped many people, but not Hana. She was able to keep up with all three, getting better and better at running on her own, and shooting with aid from her mother. However, like most young girls, Hana was sure she fell in love when she was in highschool, her freshman year to be exact. This boy was 16, and his name Hikaru Tanimoto, a boy on her Cross Country team. However, unlike her, he didn't have much else in his life, so he was a gamer. When she found this out, she tried to pick up gaming in her off-time, which she had plenty of since none of her three sports were ever in season at the same time. She found that she enjoyed gaming, though she still loved her sports dearly and had absolutely no intention of being a gamer. Hikaru Tanimoto was forgotten within a year, but video games had become part of Hana's life.
After Highschool, graduating at the tender age of 17, she spent a year studying for the entrance exams for the university in Tokyo. Her studying paid off, and she got into the University, however once in her grades were stuck firmly in the B area, as studying was not something that came naturally to Hana. However, she got by and still is, and is enjoying the self sufficient life she'd never had before.
