You should look up a table top game called Rifts; I think you'd like it, might even give you some more ideas.

Forum: Casual Interest Checks
A mining town seems to be struggling; the once growing "Coal's Mouth" (pronounced "Coal'smuth") is suddenly struggling to keep people staying, never-mind working! There's rumors of the mines being haunted, along with cattle going missing, and disappearances, and strange noises in the night...
The people don't feel safe, and the town manager is forced to call for a detective, as well as a bounty hunter and some gunfighters to try and restore peace (or at least a sense of safety enough to save the town). But, this is all done under the assumption that these superstitious miners are just being chased off by mountain lions and bears.
How will the town's saviors fair when they dig beneath the surface and find out that terror, like the mine itself, runs deeper?
do feel free to comment with interest, I know this sounds a little campy (because it is), but I'll do my best to make it entertaining. ^_^

Title says most of it- Who likes Palladium Games, and if you do, which setting/game is your favorite?
My introduction was Rifts, but I've played some of their other games, as well, I particularly like After the Bomb, Systems Failure, and Dead Reign. I've even attempted Heroes Unlimited more than once.

ok, another week since the last posts aaaand nothing... Maybe next time will be better, but I'm calling this one.
Try not to feel, bad, anybody, the failure is all on my end. If I'd been more diligent and gotten it going while more people were excited by the idea, it might have gotten farther.
For now, I'm just going to focus on a single rp that I'm involved in, among my other personal projects. One at a time is probably best, for me.
Good luck to those struggling to write, and thanks for trying, I mean that.
