Going by her appearance (mostly the fact that she's not a wizzened old crone), I'd assume the latter. XD ...Although this is partially because having our Old Man Genocide analogue go missing at some point in the past seems like an interesting plot hook to me but um yeah.

...Really conflicted here since Buffy and Angel are my favourite shows ever, but I've honestly never cared much for Charmed. Hmmm. We'll see, I guess.

I must have missed that. ^^; Was too busy working on Keiko, and kind of posted that after I'd just gotten up. Whoops. Anyways, um, we'll see how things turn out I guess. Need to get a more solid idea first after all. Hmmm.

I actually couldn't remember if that was the case or not. ^^; Been a while since I've read Bleach, after all. But if Keiko does have a Bankai it's probably newly manifested and she doesn't use it much... Partially because I can't figure out what to make her Bankai actually do. Hmmm.

Also... SIN, out of curiosity, how many characters are we allowed? Since I'm considering making a second one either to fill out the ranks of one of the factions that doesn't have many (or indeed, any) characters, or a rookie Reaper, although I don't really have any concrete plans right now so it's fine if we're only allowed one right now.

So this is still WIP but I think I've got most of it sorted out. Just need to flesh a couple of things out a bit, but it's late and I'll probably be sleeping soon so that can wait until tomorrow.

• Name: Nekketsu Keiko
• Appearance: Like this! She stands at about 168cm/5'6".
• Age: Just over 200. Physically in her late teens.
• Gender: Female
• Class: Soul Reaper, Lieutenant of Squad 5 (arbitrarily chosen, will change to a more fitting squad if one exists)

• Powers:
•• Kido: Whilst Keiko is decently skilled in most Soul Reaper disciplines such as swordplay and Shunpo, where she really excels is Kido. She is skilled in all three main types of Kido, able to forgo incantations for all but the most powerful Kido.

•• Shikai - Knock 'em out, Fuuraimaru!: Once her Shikai is activated, Keiko's Zanpakuto takes the form of a metal baseball bat, strangely enough. Whilst being hit with a solid lump of metal tends to hurt quite a bit, it is in fact a ranged Zanpakuto. Fuuraimaru is able to summon orbs of reiatsu, which... Well, it's a baseball bat, it's probably obvious what comes next. The launched balls have a small degree of homing capabilities and explode on contact. Whilst even Keiko herself will admit it's not the most impressive shikai out there, it has its uses and tends to be surprisingly effective for what it is.

•• Bankai - Bankai, Kanzen Fuuraimaru!: (WIP; will figure out the specifics later hopefully ^^;)

• History: Died, became a Soul Reaper, worked her way up the ranks thanks to hard work and guts, is now a lieutenant. She's still pretty new to the post and is still getting used to it. WIP, Will flesh out later.

• Details: The first thing that most people note about Keiko is her sheer, raw enthusiasm. She seems to be possessed of almost unlimited energy, and does not understand the concept of an indoor voice; it is believed by many that she is physically incapable of not being over-excited or, indeed, standing still. No matter what she is attempted, Keiko throws herself into it with overflowing passion, occassionally even excelling purely through hard work, effort and a stubborn refusal to give up when raw talent fails. Her boisterous demeanour often makes people wonder how she even became a lieutenant, which can often give her an edge when they underestimate her; she got the position through training as hard as possible, after all, and is far more competant than she would initially seem.

I'm working on a lieutenant right now, is that okay or would I have needed to reserve the spot? ^^;

Also I think I mentioned that I'd read up to the reveal of Soi Fon's bankai, so anything after that is probably going to confuse me initially. ^^;
