One of the earlier encountered monsters is girl who is a slug from the waist down. This is not the most nauseating monstergirl in the game by far. Uuuuuuuuuurgh...

Eh, if it means anything I'm okay with changing my vote for steampunk fantasy to high fantasy and just leaving the industrial revolution stuff with the appropriate races (ie. dwarfs or their equivalent).

Just expect me to throw in some weird curveball like giant suits of armour that basically act like mecha, or Nazi high elves, or utterly bizarre monsters if we end up with that. XD I mean I do have some less weird ideas (actually have a race of pseudo-Mongolian proud warrior types I like to insert into stuff lying around), but I like tossing in something a little wacky to make things less stuffy. ^^;

Anyways, top picks would be steampunk fantasy, soft sci-fi and urban fantasy, but I'm fine with any of them really.

• Favorite Book/Movie: For book... Basically most of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. For movie, my favourites are End of Evangelion, Fantasia and The Wall, all of which serve to make me look far more pretentious than I actually am. D:

Hell, one of my favourite fantasy settings (at least before they blew it up and replaced it with something stupid) gave humans and dwarfs stuff like steam-powered tanks and gyrocopters, and clockwork horses. And one of the evil races in it were a bunch of ratmen with, amongst other things, flamethrowers, sniper rifles, gatlings, lightning cannons, giant electricity-spewing hamster wheels of death... Ah, good times. ^_^
