Hiroko had never seen Sayuri act like that. Was something wrong? Then again, things had been pretty tense in Rokuro lately... Maybe she was just stressed out? She made a mental note to ask her about it later, and maybe see if there was anything she could do to help. But for now... Now that Asami had finally finished her ramen (she ate it so slow... Did she not appreciate good ramen or something?) it was time to make good on her word to her.

"So... You staying somewhere nearby? Or am I going to have to work off that ramen?" Getting out of her seat, she waved goodbye to Sayuri as she headed to the door, expecting Asami to follow her.

Peacock - Mahora, Miso Lake

Well, this didn't look like New Meridian. Peacock was pretty sure there wasn't so much food growing everywhere, for one thing.

"I knew I should've taken that left turn at Little Innsmouth," she grumbled, taking a long drag from her cigar, seemingly unconcerned about what any onlookers would think about a 13 year old smoking. Even if there weren't any Dagonians around anymore, something still smelled fishy, and not just the circumstances of her suddenly being here in... Foodland or whatever. Literally, something smelled like fish, and it was probably that huge brown lake. And probably that girl nearby it, too.

"Hey, toots!" An oversized white glove poked Kido in the side, as the other firmly pinched Peacock's nose. "You mind explaining what's goin' on here? I'm missing Annie: Girl of the Stars for cryin' out loud!"

Well, something had probably explained what was going on, but... It just sounded too boring! Peacock couldn't focus her attention on something so dull.

Character Crossover Crisis City (C4 Reboot)

• Name: Patricia Watson, although she's more commonly known by her codename: Peacock.
• Universe: Skullgirls
• Appearance: "Time to paint the town red!"
• Personality: Her tragic past and the mutilations she suffered at the hands of the Medici have all left Peacock rather unhinged, with a penchant for slapstick cartoon violence. She's a huge fan of classic cartoons, in fact, which has a huge effect on her personality and mannerisms; not only is she quick to pull out references and quotes from her favourite cartoons, but she's also rather brash, impatient and belligerent, whilst (somewhat paradoxically seeing her past) being rather lighthearted. Despite her love of cartoonish violence and the fact that she's a bit rude and combative, she's not one to attack people without provocation, and whilst still kind of rude to the people she truly cares about she'll do whatever it takes to keep them from harm.
• Powers/Skills: Living inside Peacock's tophat is the Avery System, a Synthetic Parasite taking the form of a cartoonish peacock dressed similarly to Peacock herself. Not only does Avery provide a spacial link between Peacock and the vast arsenal of Lab 8, but he allows her to modify said arsenal to better fit her own needs and sense of aesthetics; this of course causes her weaponry to look more cartoonish than they really should. The spacial-warping powers of the Avery System also allow her to create hole-like portals beneath her, allowing her to teleport short distances.
• Brief Bio: Patricia Watson and her best friend Marie Korbel were originally war orphans until they were captured by slave traders working for the Medici Mafia. Proving far too defiant and disobedient for their liking, though, she was horribly mutilated as an example to others; her limbs were amputated and her eyes were gouged out. Left for dead, she was rescued by Dr. Avian and the Anti-Skullgirl Lab 8, who reconstructed her into a biomechanical weapon. Her missing limbs were replaced with the Argus System, whilst the reality defying Avery System was grafted onto her, giving her access to a vast array of weaponry. The only thing they couldn't salvage, however, was her sanity; and thus Patricia was reborn as the Anti-Skullgirl Weapon, codename: Peacock. Unfortunately, this wasn't the end of her tragedy, as unbeknownst to her the new Skullgirl was in fact her old friend Marie...
• Equipment: Peacock's missing arms have been replaced with the Argus System, a Synthetic Parasite taking the form of long, slender arms with mechanical eyes placed at intervals; it is these eyes that gave Patricia her codename. The eyes not only provide her with 360 degree vision but are able to fire focused Z-Rays that have been fine-tuned to allow her to combat Skullgirls. Thanks to the Avery System, she is able to summon a vast array of cartoonish weapons, like custard pies, chainsaws, knives, anvils, giant revolvers, cannons, pianos, steamrollers, Moai, elephants... The list is almost endless. Most notable of these weapons are her "gang", the cartoon creatures Andy Anvil, Tommy Ten-Tons, George Bomb, Lonesome Lenny and, of course, Avery.
• Others: Not only are her teeth made of metal, they are literally a bear trap.
