Adrianne eyes were following Ansiel as the Sister of Battle walked rather nonchalantly into the apartment, before said heavily power armored Sister almost jumped into the air at the sight of her and reached for an equally overly large chainsword!

"Yeh, she is totally not compensating for anything... "

Adrianne thought to herself as she squinted at Ansiel with one eye from beneath her snow white hair, giving Ansiel a rather odd look as she tilted her head slightly to the side.

"Don't tell me the Inquisitor has placed a Kill Order on me or something." Adrianne commented as she noticed Ansiel's reaction, still not sure what to do at that point as she awkwardly stood there, armed with a dozen flying kitchen utensils and one very ripe vegetable!

"And if he has, I'm sure there's a perfectly good explanation for whatever supposed reason there might be behind such a brash dictate!"
How many posts should I wait for untill I post again?

Preferably the least as possible, like until one post interacts with you in some way :P

Right now I'm waiting for you to post!
Whatever tools and methods Salisthrielle might normally have used in "apprehending" Cath are probably not anywhere to be found within ordinary imperium protocols :P
I feel it necessary to remind everyone that Adrianne was exceedingly gentle in handling Cath by Imperial standards! ^_^
Good morning everyone ^^
<Snipped quote by Rithy>

Oh god Emperor help us, not another Vortex of Doom.

And today on Imperial Cooking, featuring Adrianne, we will show you how to make some delicious onion suip guaranteed to cure any thoughts of heresy, made possible through a secret pinch of rare spices, a small spoon of salt, and a dash of VORTEX OF DOOM!!!
Walking outside of the door to her room would be Adrianne, the snow-white haired Psyker now fully dressed in her usual battle gear consisting of a deep brown skin tight jumpsuit overlayed with a set of sectional plates in the form of a chestguard, long gauntlets and knee high boots fashioned in the usual imperial, gothic style. In her hand she carried her slightly bent psyker staff, and perched on her shoulder would be that of a psyber raven, a black feathered cybernetically enhanced raven constantly watching her surroundings through its one red, bionic eye that seemed to be constantly adjusting itself.

"It's probably time to regroup with the rest of the team."

Adrianne thought to herself. However, thoughts of the recent failed arrest attempt at the mansion also ran through her mind. Memories of how she had driven the Inquisitor through an imperial guard blockade at great risk, how she had severely beaten and then left one of their undercover operatives, and recently pissed off Sister Aviza by giving her a new cool tattoo.

Tallying her favors and ills, she was definitely leaning more towards the latter.

"I can leave the scrying for later. Right now I probably ought to generate some goodwill!"

Walking down into the main living room of the apartment, Adrianne would come to find that none of the other members of the team were currently present. Perfect. That gave her time to prepare before they arrived! Picking up speed, she would quickly head over towards the kitchen area, her psyber raven jumping off her shoulder to perch itself ever vigilantly on top of a frock holder. Reaching the kitchen area, she would flick her wrist as the shelves opened themselves up. Using her power of telekinesis, the psyker would quickly begin to prepare a meal, moving large amounts of pots, pans, knives, ingredients with her will alone.

However, she had not gotten more than halfway through the preparation when she suddenly noticed a valkyrie touching down on the pad outside of the apartment. Gazing up to look out through the glass window with her violet eyes, the psyker could see another woman approaching the doors to the apartment. A sister of battle no less.

"Another one?!" Adrianne would mutter to herself as she watched Ansiel approach the apartment, the psyker currently surrounded by at least 12 different knives floating in the air around her, as well as one tomato.
Then as the Valkyrie hovered a few feet off the ground it took a bolter to the knee and crash landed! XD

Why suffice with a simple bolter when you have a psyker in the party who can summon a VORTEX OF DOOM! :D

"If you're going to go out... it's best to do so in style!"
- Sanctioned Psyker Adrianne motivational quote.
"Ohhh, that's a long story... " Vashi replied, gently bobbing with her head as she walked, staff in hand.

"Or, now that I think of it, it's not actually a very long story. It's actually rather straight forward, mind you." She suddenly contemplated, scratching her chin with a thinking look on her face as she gazed out into the empty air above them.

"It's actually more like that the military tribunal finally realized, after almost ten thousand years, that maaaaaaayybeee magic could actually be a good thing when it came to guarding the balance of the world, which is the divinely appointed charge of the Keldorei given to them by the Moon Goddess Elune herself. Now, we do have Druids, some of whom are REALLLYYY powerful(and old, that's a thing about us that you'll learn), but they just don't quite pack the 'oompfh!' as does an order of trained battle mages. So, because the tribunal realized that we couldn't just sit on the defensive all the time if we wanted to restore order to the world, they managed; although they had a hard time getting their bigot heads out of their uptight butts; to accept the use of arcane magic in a limited form."

During her little speech, Vashi had gotten a little riled up and spoke with great enthusiasm, but also a little bit of sarcasm. Finally finished, she let out a small sigh, before looking over at Mei with somewhat of a bemused smile.

"So that's that, it really makes you think that it wasn't until the very balance of the world was threatened that they finally allowed us to practice magic, and we're still on probation in all but name!" Vashi couldn't help but frown a little bit at the end of her sentence, rolling her eyes to the side for a moment before looking back at Mei.

"Like I said, it's an elf thing that not many outsiders really understand. To put it into perspective, imagine that you accidentally set fire to the kitchen one day. Except that your parents were also near immortal and with an immaculate memory for grudges and bad things in general! And so thereafter, even on your 8346th birthday, they'll still remind you about that little incident, and not let you near the oven! That's pretty much how magic works in our culture."

Aye, I'll get a post up soon, just doing night-shifts atm so I'm a wee bit burnt out; never fear though, Cath will be patched up before she bleeds out...I hope.

I assure you, Adrianne was gentle with Cath, and was perfectly within Imperial arrest procedures. Your job should be easy :D
