Current Friends are out partying while I'm watching cartoons and writing up RP post ideas in my bathrobe. Perfect Saturday Night.

I currently made a sci-fi/fantasy space opera hybrid. Come check it out! roleplayerguild.com/topics/1..

@RumikoOhara Awesome. While this RP hopes to take a little bit of all of those franchises that you've mentioned, I'd like to include some fantasy elements like spell casting and mythical beasts as well.
Thanks, @BurningCold that's good to know. I was thinking about posting this interest check in other categories like free and advanced but I didn't want to spam even more than I've been.
Bloodborne + For Honor. This hybrid will trigger you to the maximum. Get killed a lot in story mode. Get booted out of every other match in multiplayer.
Hmm. Maybe it's a slow post day today? Even if you're not interested, discussion is also appreciated.
Here are some visual references. Apologies for dumping info in separate posts. I'll promise to put all of this under one OP in an OOC if enough people want to join.

I was originally going to put up character bios about Captain Angela Abetchi and her two crew members (at least the ones that's been with her since the beginning) but I don't want to spoil their origin. I'd rather have that revealed when RPing. The gist of what the stowaways would know:

Captain Angela Abetchi is a commercially licensed freight hauler that went AWOL from Toliath command for quite sometime. She has a crew of two people: Axon and Dendrite, who help maintain the Delilah - a large, retrofitted frigate with a bunch of slapped on bells and whistles to help navigate through Toliathian security undetected. Axon is a cybermancer that operates well within the Cryptum of the extranet. He is constantly hacking Toliath cyberspace, doing everything he can to keep the Delilah and her crew flying under the radar. While Axon helps with navigation and cyber security, Dendrite is more hands-on with Delilah as the designated ship engineer.
Information about the Tolathians:

Their origin story is about as mythical as the road to Paradise Planet. There are terabytes of compendiums theorizing their genesis and rise to power, but all sources are kept vaulted deep within the Cryptum - the last remaining cyberspace unaffected by the Tolathian swarm code. You see, everyone thought the Toolies first struck at the Vetrasis, the core systems of the last known governing body of the galaxy. In reality, they came from everywhere and anywhere, spreading their viruses across the data stream like a silent pandemic. Fleet systems, intelligence cores, and space gateways from across the galaxy were instantly compromised, paving the way for the impending doom that waltzed right through the front door unnoticed. By the time the united factions of the galaxy had realized they were being attacked, the Tolathians had seized control of all the major star systems. How anti-climatic is that? I mean, yeah, people rebelled, but in the end the Toolies curb stomped everyone that stepped out of line. There's just no defeating their overwhelming numbers. Now, we're enslaved against our will, used as their permanent work force to gather resources for fuck knows what.

Notes:

Aesthetically, they look like artificial intelligence but their mannerisms are very fluid and organic. They are never seen with their helmets off. They emote through projected holographic interfaces and designs from their visors like shown below:

Their voices can be differentiated as old, young, male, and female. Some have accents similar to many of the cultures known in the galaxy, but if you listen closely, you will find that there is always a tinge of automation. How their government is ran is unknown. Their motivations as a whole are unknown to the general public, but as individuals, they are as complicated and expressive as any other species.
@vFear Right on!

Update: I've posted my idea in the casual section

roleplayerguild.com/topics/160859-star..
Still trying to get familiar with everything here. This sub seems more active than the other one I posted so I'll put my idea here:

The conclusion of a great interstellar war has ravaged the cosmos as systems are quickly herded under one rulership. Gone are the days of free space faring travel and exploration. In its place are trade routes and commercial fairways that run like a meticulous network of cogs. Planets of luxury, discovery, and free tourism are now under heavy scrutiny as all cognizant (and completely unaware) beings are subjugated to a life of servitude to the Toliath Federation...

"Fuck that noise." Captain Abetchi screamed into the intercom. "You're all that's left of whatever backwater mud ball your mother shat you on. I'd reckon a life of getting scraped around by Toolie dickheads aren't in the cards for you lot, lest you wouldn't be stinking up my stowaway compartments. But hey, if you're having second thoughts, please feel free to let me know. I'll be sure to hand your sorry asses over to the next Toolie outpost. I'm sure they'll give you a warm welcome - in and all around every gaping orifice that's potchmarking your cowardly hides while the rest of us make way for Paradise Planet!"

That's right: Paradise Planet. At this point it's a running myth among fleeting refugees, but space travelers with some actual kilometers in their experience-o-meter say it's the real deal. There are star maps littered across the galaxy, made to be pieced together like some god damned scavenger hunt. No one even knows if they actually lead you to the fabled safe haven everyone's gushing about, but at this point, people will do just about anything to escape Toolie sovereign...

This is what I have so far. We are survivors and escapees from the galactic insurgency of the Toliath Federation (Toolies) that have stowed away on Captain Abetchi's ship. She's not doing all of this out of the kindness of her heart, mind you. In return for safe passage on board her ship you either traded off something of serious value and/or swore into her cadre as a permanent crew member. Regardless as to how you got your ticket punched, buckle up, because you're in for a shitstorm of a ride. Any takers?
