@Altered Tundra That's what I meant - the GM is perfectly fine if you make a demigod. And I sure as hell hope you aren't a decent person if you have all these measly mortals around you. (I mean, seriously, who can't recite all of Paradise Lost after reading it once?)

@Tancuras This is actually why I'm (trying) to run my roleplay, The Accomplished. Rather than having 12&16 Year olds saving the world, it's a bunch of middle aged folks coming back from their retirement. They have a reason to be powerful.

I actually had some people enter characters though that I simply got that 'edgy teenager' vibe from. Sure your character is 750 years old, but by your CS they act like they are 20.

About Gary Stus - Kvothe is okay in writing, but I can see the issue unless it is pre established that your character is somehow a demigod.
