But these people have a point. You are probably going to have to either ditch your backstory and some of your non-magic abilities or ditch the baku part of your CS. It'd be better than trying to shoehorn stuff in.

EDIT: Being a demon would help, but who taught her that magic, and why? It only raises questions from me. Additionally, we already have two people who mess with dreams.

@Rune_Alchemist Can't only the five 'mortal' races use it, or can all creatures learn magic? (For example, a familiar like Iravis learning waterbending)

And yes, I'll tell you from experience there is a huge difference between knowing what to do in theory and actually doing it in a split second.

@Ashifili Contract doesn't grant magic this time around. You do it for other reasons, such as personal growth or simply boredom.

But the powers that are inherent to you will remain.

Honestly? She wants to die. Like, go into the afterlife and shit, not getting stabbed in the face. Her next life may maintain some of her memories and skills, but for the most part she's going to start out alone.

@Savo Honestly, if it comes down to a "we need someone to sacrifice themselves to save the rest" Iravis would probably volunteer for it. Largely because death doesn't really matter for her.

So yeah. She has a fairly high chance of it.
