"Couldn't dial it down even if I wanted to, Cass m'lass. My programming won't let me" O'Malley said in response to Cassidy's words as he led the way into the park. "And while I am aware that catchin' up with old friends ain't our main reason for comin' here, that doesn't mean we shouldn't take the time to socialize. A few o' the other animatronics and I used to help Scott out with this sorta thing back before Covid, and it often paid dividends to have a nice little chat with the people we met along the way. Now sure, we're not gonna have a lot to talk about with whatever's harming kids in there, but monsters like that tend to have minions at its beck and call. By all means put down the master the moment you see it, but we'd do well to see if the servants are malicious goblins eagerly aiding this evil or enslaved sprites bound to a task they despise with all their hearts before givin' them the same treatment."
Dimple smiled with grateful confidence as his prayer was heard and answered. He opened his eyes and looked down at the now distracted auroch. While he was in the presence of Rohkin, Dimple had still faintly heard the instructions given by the familiar face with the magically loud voice. The faeborg didn't have anything to cauterize the wound with, but he did have something that could hold it still. Diving down to ground level, Dimple drew his grappler, took aim at a space a hair's breadth away from one of the auroch's legs, and fired. When the grappler's hook shot past the leg, Dimple hit the retract button. The hook whipped back immediately and latched onto the beast's limb. Dimple then began flying as swiftly as he could in a circle around the auroch, looking to tie up all of its legs and limit its movement.
Dimple makes a Control roll of 16 with Hope to use his grappler line to tie up the auroch's legs.
Tolomeo pointed back the way he came, towards the wagon and the crowd that was slowly forming around it. "When I last saw it, the letter was nailed to the driver's seat of the wagon." The boy said. "If no one's moved it, you'll find it there."
After thinking over the next post so far, the post is likely to be small with just the owlbear's reaction. ^^"
So if the party is ready to move on from the Random Encounter, feel free to let me know.
Depending on the owlbear's reaction, Brutrumukk might want to do one or two things before moving on. All of these things shouldn't take more than a single post to do. After that, he'll be ready to proceed.
