I'm sorry for anyone who was waiting for me. Some real life stuff happened, but for now things seem calm. I'll try to post in my RP's ASAP.

You people... Sometimes I worry I'll get left behind in the OOC.
Hibiki Toho

Hibiki scratched her nose as she thought about being stuck in Smitten Kitten's body. "Well... TO be honest, I'd be kinda scared. Deep Ground is just a game, but to be trapped inside of it, it seems pretty scary. You know, since everyone just fights." Hibiki talked big in Deep Ground, but in real life she was a scaredy cat. Even her saving Itsuko wasn't really done out of a sense of justice or heroics, she was just scared for the girl and wanted her to run away. Hibiki just helped. "Though I like the idea that, um... That strong people actually do something. Instead of just waiting around or trying to manipulate things from behind the scene, people like Momonga actually go out into the world and use their powers to change it. Maybe not for good, but a lot of the people they fight are scum. Plus, I really like the idea of Ainz Ooal Gown! A guild for monsters and outcasts, who have worked together and become one of the strongest guilds out there! I mean, sure they're evil, but I admire their spirit. They could be good people if people weren't such jerks to them."

Itsuko then started grabbing some books for Hibiki and said that if she wanted, she could have any of them. Light Novels, mangas, comic books, magazines, anything she wanted really. Hibiki almost never tries to mooch off others, but this was almost too good to be true. She pulled her cheek to wake her up from this dream, but she didn't want up because this wasn't a dream. So Hibki walked up to Itsuko and hugged her, and because Hibiki was short she ended up hugging Itsuko around the stomach. "Thank you thank you thank you! It's so hard to get actual books these days! Everything is digital and online, but nothing beats flipping through pages. Itsuko you... You're so cool!"

When Itsuko asked if Hibiki if she wanted to go to a club with her. This, Hibiki hesitated. She was pretty sure Itsuko didn't mean a school club, otherwise she wouldn't have changed out of her uniform. Her parents always warned her not to go into the city at night because it was dangerous, though it's not as if Hibiki didn't know what happened during the night. She simply agrees that it wasn't her scene. But if Itsuko was going, then Hibiki didn't want to be left behind. Only issue was that Hibiki only had the clothes on her back. Hibiki was even more uncertain when Itsuko apologized, saying stuff like how she didn't know how hard it was to get things and that she always gets what she wants. Hibiki could understand where Itsuko was coming from; more often then not Hibiki had a hard time making friends too, since they either only wanted to be friends with her because of her parents, or they didn't want to be friends with a "Snooty rich girl". So Hibiki hugged Itsuko tighter.

"It's alright Itsuko. Sometimes... Sometimes people just get angry because they it hard. People like us who... Who are lucky enough to have it easy, I guess you could say they're frustrated. And they would be right, you know? They work so hard to just get the scraps we throw away, so... So that's why we have to do our part to help!" Hibiki stepped back and looked pumped. She wanted to tell Itsuko exactly how she felt about this sort of thing. "It's our obligation to help others when we could help them! I know they'll be angry, and that they might hate us, and that there are people like us but who are really evil, but there are people like you are really good too! Being strong, rich, smart, or whatever, the best thing to do is make others as good as we are. People hate us because they don't think we do anything, so we have to prove them wrong and show them that we actually do stuff, good stuff!" Hibiki spoke passionately. She wasn't as smooth as Smitten Kitten, but the fire was still there. But once her blood stopped boiling, she looked meek again. "So.... So don't be sad Itsuko. You're a good person. You just need to find something you want to do, and make it greater so everyone can enjoy it. Even if it's just something like sharing books with me."

Hibiki reached out to clasp Itsuko's hand. Whenever she felt sad or angry, Hibiki's mother or father would hold her hand with both of theirs. So Hibiki did the same. They also sang a little song, but Hibiki didn't remember what it was so she just held Itsuko's hand.

It was also around this time that Hibiki realized that she didn't have her bag. Which also meant she didn't have her wallet, or the keys to her house. She knew that she had slug her bag at those bullies who were picking on Itsuko, and she had forgotten to pick it up after they ran away. She also remembered that she left Train at school and didn't know where he was at. He was able to get to school on his own just fine, but Hibiki usually brought him back home herself so the teachers don't get him. Suddenly Hibiki felt a bit panicky, but she had to keep her cool for Itsuko. The only notable change was that Hibiki held Itsuko's hand a bit tighter.

@KoL
@KoL Flying around in a super awesome fighter jet that shoots nukes and lasers and then gets missiled in the face. Jk, but I'm going to bed now. See you all tomorrow morning.
Meirin Kurenai

All those things sounded wonderful to do... If Meirin wasn't wearing this dress. While it hung a little loose around the shoulders, it was actually quite tight and form-fitting, making it hard for her to move. She wouldn't even be able to use most of her weaving motions due to how restrictive the heavy dress is on her legs. She wouldn't mind talking a walk, though she couldn't move quite as fast in this dress as she normally could,\. She would be willing to swim if her body wasn't completely sore right now, and might get even more sore if she did something as full-body as swimming. The flying and dinner sound nice, though Meirin wasn't hungry right now.

She was starting to have second thoughts about dressing up, knowing that if she had simply worn her normal attire she could have done almost everything with him. Instead she dressed herself up in these weighty garments that made her about as useful as a glass doll. She hasn't even done anything and she was starting to sweat a little in her robes. Meirin especially felt a little sad after hearing ssarak compliment the dress at first, but question why she would wear it. She didn't know if he meant why she would wear this dress, or why she was trying to dress up in the first place. Either way it seemed like he didn't really like it. But she would endure and make due, taking note of what she would need to do next time.

"Oh, I just wanted to try something a bit different. I'll admit I'm not quite used to these clothes yet, but I didn't want it to gather dust in my closet so, here I am! Anyways, I wouldn't mind going for a flight. I wish I could do it myself, but... I like being carried by you."

Myrn Vaan'Atisha

Myrn was still bandaged up from her wounds against the Ridge Hounds. She insisted that she was fine, but the healers kept telling her to keep her bandages on and apply the medicine when she changed bandages. She wasn't one to go against a doctor's orders, but she found the entire process to be tedious. Fortunately she was at least healthy enough to get back to fighting, though she probably couldn't battle anything without reopening her wounds. So between classes and work, Myrn often just practiced her swordplay in the air to stay in shape.

But that wasn't the only thing she did. As a Vaan'Dred it was her obligation to learn more about the world's lore and weave it into songs and stories. And while hasn't yet actually made any of her own, she still did travel the world to learn about various cultures and secrets. The college seemed like the perfect place to operate since it was a veritable treasure trove of ancient histories and magic, but it was more than that. It was a magnet of the strange, exotic, and dangerous. Which brings Myrn to the naga.

Myrn had heard of the naga before, the snake-like people of Yarosmere. She has seen their goods from traveling merchants, their imagery in art, a knew a little about their fighting style by various mercenaries. But until she came to the college, she's never seen an actual naga before. Mar was the first, but she wasn't the last. When the nagas from the catacombs were allowed to stay at the college, Myrn wasted no time gathering up all the paper and ink she could get to interview each naga. Myrn wasn't afraid of them, in the sense that unlike some others, their reptilian features and general attitude didn't repulse her. If her short analysis from Mar was any indication, some people may think that Naga's are naturally aggressive and unpleasant. But that was obviously untrue, because despite being a total stranger the nagas were willing to let Myrn interview them.

At first she only spoke to those who had the time to spare, and only a few questions before they had to leave. But over the two weeks, Myrn has been able to curry some favor with the naga, talking to some very important figures. Myrn was going to speak to a few of them today. With any luck, she may even get to question the matriarch. So Myrn proceeded to the courtyard where the Nagas were staying at, her pen and paper ready to write down the answers to her questions. When she arrived she shouted out and announced herself. "Hello! It's me, Myrn! I came to ask a few more questions!"

I like to think she's more like Solo Wing Pixy. I'm sure KoL will understand that reference.
@KoL You could always be the side of the coin I guess? That would literally make you the edge.

Hibiki doesn't think Deep Ground is a bad idea, at least no worse than any other attempt at some sort of education and preparation for one's future. Granted she's also 14 and has been pretty sheltered, so she has no idea how reality really is. Nonetheless she thinks Deep Ground can be very good, both educational and entertaining, but it has been warped and misused to the point that the only way to fix it is probably to restart everything. A bit of Hibiki's darkside, but she doesn't think that things can get "better" right now. Not as long as the people at the top, like the kings, remain. A whole new era needs to be ushered in to make Deep Ground great again, and to do that Hibiki intends to wipe out any trace of the old corruption and power that was controlling Deep Ground before.

Like I said, she's fairly naive to think that this would actually work. She essentially wants to reset the world for it's best case scenario.
I left it deliberately vague what exactly Parum told Erika, since I didn't want to make up names if you already had some in mind. Let's just say that Parum knew and told Erika exactly what she needs to know.
Catarina was initially angry when she saw the guards draw their bows. She shielded Malkus the best she could, but she knew that even her armor wouldn't be able to deflect all the arrows from this range. But instead of shooting him, they shot at the undead they followed the group. The gates were open and Vivian summoned a tiger to rush Malkus inside, heading to the monastery. She didn't question it; a holy place was probably the best place to hide from zombies. It was a good thing it was late too; Catarina couldn't imagine the sort of trouble that could arise if people saw a tiger carrying a half-orc on it's back. When Catarina, Vivian, Malkus, and the tiger reached the monastery, the knights at the gate pointed their weapons at them. Mostly to Malkus. This made Catarina roll her eyes underneath her helmet. "Really!? Does he look like he can hurt anyone right now?"

Fortunately Vivian was able to do some quick talking and got the guards off their backs. She did so by showing them the chalice of silence, though Catarina was a bit concerned about why she showed that to them, and how it worked so well. While Catarina wasn't a priest, she knew this monastery was for the god Pelinor (It helped that she had been here once). She had no idea how or why showing them the Chalice of Silence, an artifact by Nerul, would allow them entry. Though Catarina didn't have time to dwell on paranoia right now and just helped Vivian get Malkus into the monastery.

Parum smiled widely as she bowed her head and followed after Erika. "I'll admit I haven't been here long, but I've a talent for learning the local area quickly. You should know that this city has quite a bustling thieves guild, and gangs roam the streets daily. Despite the lawlessness however, it can be used to our advantage. You see, the vampire whom you're hunting has both friends and enemies among the thieves and low lives of the city. And I can tell you their names..." Parum informed Erika of what she knew about the Thieves Guild of the city, as well as the various gangs, mobs, and crime families as well. She didn't know who exactly were under the orders of the vampire, but she was able to tell Erika which ones had the best influence and would be most useful for their hunt. The best thing Parum told Erika, however, was the name of the leader gang of thugs she fought earlier that day. Knowing his name, that was one step closer to figuring out where the vampire was.
@Caits I feel that Cassie and Hibiki have a sort of "Opposite side of the same coin" feel about them. Both are idealistic, but Hibiki accepts Deep Ground for what purpose it serves. She just thinks that everyone would benefit much better if they worked together instead of keep screwing each other over. Of course, Hibiki isn't entirely innocent of screwing people over, as Corpse Collector could attest.
Zarya only had to listen for a few minutes before things got interesting. It seemed that the merchant was accusing the kharnate man of being a thief based off the fact he got his goods from Rebache. Zarya had also heard some information about Rebache, mostly that there has been a lot of bandits sighted near it. It didn't take her long to figure out that the merchant thought that the man was one of those bandits who looted the village and was trying to sell the goods. However unlike the merchant, Zarya knew this man was not a thief. For starters he was from and looked like he came from the kharnate; unless he brought an army of horsemen with him, she doubts that he could have raided the village alone. Not to mention the boy in the wagon, who was likely the same boy who had been telling others about his village. He looked meek enough to be a mere village boy and not say, a poorly dressed bandit.

Some guards came to approach, and that's when Zarya stepped out and called to them. "Wait! This man is no thief. He is my guardian, and we have been tasked to seek help in liberating the village. These goods are merely what was given to us as payment." Zarya lied smoothly, her words flowing with intoxication like a fine wine. She knew she was taking a risk trying to lie on the behalf of these strangers, but she was certain that she was going to be far more successful in convincing the guards to back down than the kharnate man was. Not only was he a foreigner, but he was much more heavily armed and dressed for plundering. Whereas Zarya was dressed in finer, if simple, clothes that would make her seem like a merchant's or some sort of low nobility (Which she technically was). Not to mention the her sword on her belt, which was finely crafted if a bit dull. Certainly not the weapon of a mere brigand, but of someone who carried more honor. It helps that she looked and spoke like a native, so the possibility of someone like her hiring a kharnate mercenary to protect her and help liberate a village was more likely than some others.
