I'm sorry for anyone who was waiting for me. Some real life stuff happened, but for now things seem calm. I'll try to post in my RP's ASAP.

Whoah! Hibiki is awesome, she doesn't even know how close she got to nailing Itsuko's whole character on that last post. She just picked the wrong feline, that's all.

Thank you. I imagine Hibiki as the curious cat who doesn't know what danger is, so she would be the type who'd play with a tiger without really knowing what she's getting herself into. Which is why she's made herself the enemy of players like Corpse Collector and Moon Rider.

<Snipped quote by TheWindel>

I didn't write that well...

I couldn't get what I actually meant out...like...well when I was in high school doing well, there were some students that struggled with some stuff but they were being ignored, and I noticed...and helped them out. I didn't think oh well not my problem....

I shall think about how to change that

I understood what you meant, though unfortunately I can also tell you that outside of highschool, competition hits you hard. I didn't like the whole dog-eat-dog mentality when I tried to get a job in journalism, and you either acted as stooge for someone who'll vouch for you or you kept knocking out the competition because being "better" than them wasn't enough. Even if you just wanted to help, at best they'll take advantage of your kindness, or at worse they'll let you take a fall for something you were helping them with.

I'd imagine things are even worse in Deep Ground since that actively promotes social darwinism. Which is what Hibiki is trying to fight against.
@KoL I posted. I forgot to mention you in my post so I'll do it here instead.
Hibiki Toho

"Everything? What about everything?" Hibiki tilted her head when Itsuko mentioned why people didn't like her. While she didn't know Itsuko very well, or at all, Hibiki didn't see anything to dislike about her. She was actually kind of adorable in a way, like a nervous but cute cat that wants to play but is afraid of you. Hibiki was worried that Itsuko is just so used to getting bullied, she may have started thinking that it's her fault. "I like you, Itsuko. There's nothing wrong with you."

Riding in the elevator with Itsuko, she felt a little queasy. The apartment was very impressive from the outside, but now that they were going up and very high off the ground, Hibiki was starting to feel nervous. She never liked heights. Fortunately they managed to reach Itsuko's apartment before Hibiki had an accident. After taking off her shoes she was amazed at the room. Amazed at how messy it was. There was so much stuff laying around that Hibiki was certain she'd step on something if she went any further. She did recognize some of the books however, and there were even a few light novels that Hibiki had always wanted to read but could never find. She was quickly distracted reading through the first chapter of a light novel when Itsuko mentioned something about a party. She had been so engrossed with the novel she didn't know what Itsuko was talking about before she left.

Eventually Itsuko returned with snacks and a new outfit. She looked trendy and it made Hibiki rather self-conscience that she never really bothered to dress up. Taking a hot pocket and having a bite, Hibiki immediately yelped. "Ow! Bleeeh... Too hot." Blowing on the hot pocket she took another bite, this one more manageable, though she still ate slowly. Once she finished her hot pocket Hibiki took a can of soda and had a few sips "Hmm... How about clothes?" Hibiki picked up a fashion magazine for young adults. "You look really cool Itsuko! I wish I could go out and buy clothes for myself, but I don't really know what to look for. A lot of the time I just end up wearing whatever my parents give me." As she flipped through the magazine Hibiki also remembered the book she was holding. "Or maybe we can talk about Overlord! I've been looking for the light novels everywhere, but all I can find is the anime and manga, and not even all of the manga."
Sorry for the inactivity. I've kinda forgot about this RP, though I would still be interested in staying. I just need to figure out what to do with Ebon since right now he's pretty much a loner, and I want to change that a bit.
Hibiki Toho

”No problem! Let’s go!”

Hibiki escorted Itusko home, expecting her to simply live at the dorms. She was surprised to see that Itusko actually lived in a fancy apartment in the city. While Hibiki lived in a fairly well-to-do home with her family, this apartment seemed even more classy. A lot of fancy cars, a big lounge, and even some rather intimidating security guards. Even Hibiki’s own home only had a single guard, and he mostly just a glorified housekeeper. It helped that he was also Hibiki’s uncle.

Once they arrived to the lounge Itsuko asked if Hibiki wanted to come in for snacks. ”Sure!” Hibiki didn’t notice the woman that Itsuko kept glancing at. Hibiki just thought it was because Itsuko was jumpy. She seemed rather neurotic and might actually have problems, so Hibiki just kept quiet and tried not to make a big deal about it. Hibiki might ask more once they go in for snacks, since she at least knew that it wasn’t polite to talk about that sort of thing in public. ”And yeah, I don’t mind having your number. Do you want to write it down or should I give you my info first?” Hibiki figured that Itsuko was a student at Purple Crown, so she just looked for her name in the directory so Hibiki could send Itsuko her information. Then Itsuko could send Hibiki her’s and they could keep in touch.

”You can just call me Hibiki. That’s what my friends call me, so you can too.”

Meirin Kurenai

Meirin smiled as Ssarak gave her a gentle hug. Even if her body was beaten up, she would always enjoy his touch. At least this time he wasn't wearing his full plate. Meirin also took the rose he had and sniffed it, enjoying it's slight fragrance. It reminded her of her alchemy class, and how she actually spent her entire time trying to recreate a fragrance she smelled. She still never figured out what that was. "Certainly. I made sure to give her a good thrashing. I'm sure she's still laid out right now." Meirin did make the conscience decision to not mention she had sparred Annabeth. Meirin wasn't too certain the exact nature of Ssarak and Annabeth's relationship with each other and just assumed they were fellow students. She didn't want Ssarak to think she was jealous of Annabeth or anything and sought her out to fight. Though Meirin did have to admit she enjoyed fighting Annabeth. Of course, Ssarak could easily figure all of this out simply by reading her thoughts, since Meirin still hasn't done any sort of Ward training yet.

"I need to change out of something less dirty. If you just give me a few minutes, I'll be ready for you." Meirin skirted around Ssarak and went inside her dorm. Immediately the first thing Meirin did was discarded her damaged clothing, folding them on her table so she can mend them later, and first went to wash herself.

Meirin had a special rune to create water, which she'd use another rune to warm up. Once she had a small basin of water, she mixed in a few drops of soap she made in Alchemy class and started weaving. She created orbs of water, much like the ones she used to fight the knight, but this one was much bigger and slower. Since she wasn't using it to hurt anyone she could afford to be gentler. Using a trick she learned from Leith, she held her breath and engulfed her head in the soapy water. She then began to weave her hands through the air, which made the water orb spin around her head, cleaning the dirt and filth from her hair. She continued to weave with her hands, lowering it so make the orb of water slowly clean her entire body. It was very quick and after about five minutes she was clean. Dumping the water into a separate basin which she'll dump out later, Meirin dried herself off using her Aeromancy weaving.

Meirin then lathered her body with some scented oils. Most of them she had sampled from a few caravans from Yarosmere, but a few she did make herself. They had scents from different flowers, but her own were based off spices. Her own favorite was an apple and cinnamon oil, which she applied a light layer of at the base of her neck. Meirin then went to put on her new dress, but paused when she looked through her wardrobe. Before, she had simple clothes to protect her modesty, designed by the monks to remind her of home. But now she had more exotic designs, foreign clothing, and all of them were made to look good. It embarrassed Meirin greatly, since she did buy these specifically with Ssarak in mind.

Ssarak wasn't the type of man who'd care about Meirin's appearance, and that slightly bothered Meirin. Ever since she came to the college and learned more about the values outside of the monastery, Meirin couldn't help but feel insecure about her appearance. Meirin didn't know how to think about it since none of the monks at the monastery ever taught her about something like this. While a few had wives and spoke much about the beauty of life and nature, they never taught her about being beautiful themselves. The closest thing about it were usually cautionary tales about vanity, but Meirin wasn't doing this because she wanted to be beautiful and youthful for the rest of her life. She just wanted to look nice for Ssarak.

Once she was finished getting dressed, Meirin stepped outside in her new dress. She even did up her hair, placing Ssarak's flower into the bun. She felt a little embarrassed since this would be the first time she's worn this outfit, and it wasn't like her usual clothing. She couldn't fight wearing this dress due to how heavy it was and the chance she'll suffer a wardrobe malfunction if she moved too harshly. What made her feel even more embarrassed was her bare shoulders which she normally covered up. While she was still modestly dressed she did feel that she was exposing a bit more skin than usual. "S-sorry to keep you waiting. Shall we go?"
@Fallenreaper Meirin will take a Stealth Ring.

@Lucius Cypher Could Myrn get a bow of demon slaying?

I'll also try to get a post for Myrn up. Fallen, could Myrn have tried to talk to the naga and learn more about them or are they already gone? Maybe she could be talking to Mar to help her with her condition?

Also sorry if I end up multi-posting, the guild is being a bother.
Zarya didn’t know what she was doing here. These past few days had been just a blur. She hasn’t done much but drift from place to place, village to village, occasionally buying supplies or reading her book. The most exciting thing she’s ever done was fire a few arrows at robbers or small groups of bandits, usually with startling accuracy. But she’s never managed to kill any of them; the worse she did was things like fruit or small blades, letting them think that if she wanted she would have killed them. And she probably could too, if she ever had the mind to do so.

Yet despite her wandering, she never left the Veigar’s. She had nothing to go back to: no family, no responsibilities, no honors. She could simply vanish from the world and no one would notice. Yet for some reason, she chose to remain in her home country. Maybe she’ll find a new purpose to her life. Maybe it’d find her. Either way, Zarya rode into the city if Curaw to buy some new supplies. She was going to need a new cloak if she was going to stay in these tundras.

After dropping her horse off at a stable Zarya walked through the market. Many warriors and mercenaries were in the city, so much that it brought Zarya back to the memories of when she was just a page. She saw so many knights and soldiers in the grand castles and fortresses. Noble and strong defenders of the kingdom who fought evil and shined like fresh snow. But now, those soldiers looked a lot more like these mercenaries; lowly men just looking for money, either from a noble’s hand or a peasant’s purse.

As Zarya walked through the city and into the market, she spied a man trying to barter with a merchant. From his dress and appearance, he was obviously from the Kharnate. He was trying to sell his goods to the merchant, but a quick scan of the cart told Zarya that he was overpricing his goods. Not that it was unexpected from a good merchant; you always wanted to charge three times the base price of your produce. If you tried to sell it for only as much as it’s base price would be, you would never make a profit, only barely enough to make back what you’ve worked for. If you only paid for twice the base, you’d only have enough to make two more. By pricing your produce for at least three times the base price, you could make enough to not only make up for the cost of labor, but also to expand your inventory and have a little left over.

Still, it wasn’t Zarya’s business to get involved. She didn’t imagine that the man would succeed; even following the logic of how much he’s selling the goods for, he lacked tack. He was probably the type of man who expected a mean face and a sword on the hip could give him discounts, but all that would do is get the guard’s attention. Bartering required subtly, a gentle push and pull, not a shove and menacing with a blade. So Zarya watched to see if this man would succeed. If he didn’t, she might show him how it’s done.
Cool. Can I post?
I changed it to be more vague. Now she simply doesn't know why her father was executed for treason, and holds some resentment over it. This way it'll be more open ended as to what her father did and whether or not he was rightfully killed or not.

And don't worry, she won't be selling that book for a long while. It's a precious memory of a time more innocent and promising.
