Sure, I'll be fine with that.
HIBIKI & SHIZUKA

Hibiki and Shizuka were at the hospital resting when they received Eos's message. It surprised the two of them that they would be commanders, considering that neither one of them has any experience leading others. Sure Hibiki could organize a group of maids to clean up a house, and Shizuka has her way with animals, but leading an army was quite different. However they weren't going to tell Eos they couldn't, but Shizuka was worried. Hibiki was getting fitted with a mechanical leg, and she worried that her sister wouldn't be able to fight at her full strength. As if reading her mind, Hibiki put a gentle hand on Shizuka's head.

"It's fine sis. As long as you're with me, I have nothing to worry about. Now, we have a lot of work to do. Once I'm done here, there are many people we need to go see."

Holding her hand to her face, Shizuka looked at Hibiki sadly before standing up and giving the doctors their space. Hibiki would be laid up for a while, but she would be ready for battle soon enough. In the meantime Hibiki gave Shizuka a list of things that she needs her sister to do. Since they were within the capital city of the Machina, Shizuka would have much more free reign then usually, if only because if Shizuka did anything, she'd be quickly taken down. First Shizuka needed to check their weapons. Hibiki lost most of her weapons trying to capture Bastion, so Hibiki needed some new ones. Second, Shizuka needed to figure out what exactly they were going to be hunting down, and what intel they have about the Angels. Hibiki had some ideas how to deal with the angels, but she needed more about the demons. And lastly, Hibiki wanted Shizuka to research her holy rituals. While Shizuka has largely ignored her powers in favor of Machina equipment, Hibiki wanted Shizuka to study her powers. She said she'll need it for their next battle.

Getting the weapons checked was easy enough. Same standard issue pistol and plasma cutter. For a rifle, while they could still use the Cerberus, it seemed like Hibiki had another rifle that was just finished while they were at battle. It was something called a "Biotic Rifle", but what it does, Shizuka didn't know. She put it in Hibiki's equipment locker and would tell her about it later. Next Shizuka headed to the Machina headquarters and tried to gather some intel there. With any luck Shizuka might be able to meet with some of the others and see if they knew anything, or could help Shizuka.

Sorry for the extremely late reply, but I still don't have an image for that demon we're suppose to be hunting.

Hibiki returned Itsuko's smile with her own. While Hibiki had a lot more learning and maturing to do, she knew she was on the right path. Now that the serious talk was done, it was time to get back to business. "Right! Let's see, last time I think I was at the Ebony Stryker Guild hall. I'm a rogue, so I think I can hide there pretty easily. And you have a really cool name! Mine's Smitten Kitten." Hibiki didn't actually know what Smitten Kitten meant. She thought it was something along the lines of "Hell Cat" since she thinks Smitten means Smite, so she's a cat who was smite from heaven. Or something along those lines.

"We can totally go hunting for those bad guys too! I'm sure they're on right now, but with all this big stuff going on I doubt they'll leave their city. But that's fine, we just have to make sure they don't bother anyone else." Hibiki also didn't want to admit it, but she was a bit scared of actually having to fight against the Sweepers. As much as she hated them, she couldn't deny that there were a lot of strong people there. But like she said, stuff like that didn't matter. Sure Hibiki was scared, but she was still going to fight them. Maybe she'll need to get a bit stronger first, but if they came to her she wasn't going to be running. "Let's see, we'll meet up in the guildhall, and then we can try and make our way to the Red Kingdom. They're the only ones who isn't part of the big war going on, so I think it'll be safe there. Once I get my Outlaw Declaration cleared up we can figure out what to do from there."

Hibiki went back to cleaning up Itsuko's room until it was mostly organized. Satisfied, Hibiki sat on Itsuko's couch and made herself comfortable. She wasn't sure how long she was going to play, but since Hibiki could sleepover at Itsuko's she wasn't too worried. Closing her eyes Hibiki logged into Deep Ground for once in quite a long time.

Welcome back, Smitten Kitten

@KoL
As Parum was trying to gather information she heard a call for the travelers with Trear. "That would be me." The halfling said to herself. So she went and followed the guard to the ramparts, where she'd meet the governor and the rest of the others. When she arrived she could tell quite easily who the governor was, so she gave him a proper curtsy and introduced herself. "I am Parum, wandering minstrel. I take it that you have a quest for us concerning the dragon?" Of course they would. They, a group of four, managed to escort at least two families through this raided village largely unharmed. Well, personal injuries aside, they weren't dead. Which was a lot more than what could be said for many others in this village. And with the help of this keep and it's resources, Parum was a bit more confident that they could take on this dragon.

I'll try to post ASAP.

Yue quickly began to regret her words when Skyra showed off her scars. It's not that Yue was particularly horrified at the scars, and more sadden that Skyra had such a negative opinion about herself. Yue wanted to tell Skyra that she was wrong, that there was nothing unsightly about her. However the words of Yue's mother rang in her head:

"Never contradict your superiors unless they are specifically asking you to challenge their opinions. Whether they're making a bad plan or talking down about themselves, you must always show your support. If you know that what they're doing is going to be self-destructive, then you must be ready to save them when it happens. If they lose hope, you must remind them what they're capable of and their good points. Whatever you do, never contradict what they're saying. If they call themselves ugly, you just tell them that they are wanted. If they call themselves weak, you must tell them they're brave. And until they can trust you, their feelings must take priority over your honesty."

So Yue didn't say anything and let Skyra believe what she wanted. Yue merely looked down and tried not to make eye contact. Fortunately it seemed like the outburst did lighten Skyra's mood, or maybe it was the food. Either way Yue just sort stood off to the side when Krysanthe asked why exactly Yue was here. "I was informed yesterday by Ozpin that I should be staying with Team KESS for now. Since I came to Beacon so late into the school year, they may need some time to find a team for me." Yue didn't make it obvious, but she had a feeling she was suppose to be part of Team KESS. She figured this out simply because their fourth member was no where to be seen. She had met Krysanthe, Sepia, and Skyra, but she doesn't know who the fourth member with the name starting with E. And if she had to guess, Yue never will. Those girls just came back from their mission yesterday, and if their fourth member wasn't here then Yue could guess what happened to that person.

Admittedly, Yue felt somewhat uncomfortably just replacing their fourth member so soon, more so if the rest of the Team doesn't approve. Yue didn't want to feel like she was being forced upon them. Hence why she was trying to get on their good side with breakfast and kind words, with mixed results. Not wanting to make this situation any more awkward than it already was Yue quickly changed the subject. "A-as for me, after you are finished with breakfast, I thought maybe I could tour the school a bit longer. I'd also like to do a bit of training and meeting others too. If you... Need me, feel free to call me. I'll come as soon as I can."

Whoops. That's what I get for writing when I'm still sleepy.

@KoL Posted for Hibiki!
Hibiki Toho

Hibiki followed her friend home without incident. It still unnerved her to see so many guns in one place. These weren't just security guards, but soldiers. It made Hibiki wonder what sort of people lived here that they would need such heavy protection. But once they got into the elevator and into Itsuko's apartment Hibiki's worries went away. This place was still as messy as it was before and before she knew it, Hibiki was starting to pick up the various books and trash around the room and trying to clean up. When Itsuko asked Hibiki what she wanted to do she nearly jumped. "Oh! Right! I figured we could play Deep Ground for a little bit. I'm at the Black City right now and I could use some help getting out. I kinda... Used an Outlaw Declaration. And I'm not really on good terms with Moon Rider." Hibiki knew that since she was level 2 she wouldn't suffer the usual effects of dying as an outlaw, but that didn't mean she wanted to give those Sweeper scumbags the pleasure of getting EXP out of her.

As Hibiki tossed away some trash and put Itsuko's book back onto their shelf, her friend started talking about being a hero. Itsuko has been training for a long time, which would explain all her injuries, but it seemed like even with training she couldn't protect herself, let alone others. But hearing Itsuko say that made Hibiki's back grow hot with anger. "Being a hero isn't about winning, and... It's not always about protecting others." Hibiki took a moment to think about her grudge against the Ebony Strykers and the Sweepers. Hibiki couldn't say she was protecting anyone from them, and if she actually fought them Hibiki would probably die. A lot. But that's not why she was going to keep trying.

"There are all kinds of powerful bad guys in the world. Heroes are the ones who oppose them, even if they are alone and weaker. Sometimes... Sometimes it's better not to have to protect people and just keep attacking." Hibiki stopped talking after saying that. She didn't want to say it outloud, but she felt that if she had to protect people then she wouldn't be able to destroy her enemies. If the Ebony Strykers or Sweepers knew about the people Hibiki were close too, she knew they would try to hurt them. That's why Hibiki had to be cunning and at times, devious. It did make her wonder if that made her like the Ebony Strykers in the first place, since their underhanded and backstabbing tendencies were exactly why she was fighting them.

"If the heroes run and hide, who will stay and fight? Heroes are the ones who have to stand up to stronger people and make them stop. No matter what. If you only try to fight when they're weaker, or when you gather more people who are weaker than you, you'll just end up crying when someone stronger shows up." Hibiki looked at Itusko with an embarrassed smile. It looked awkward after her serious speech. "S-sorry! I didn't mean to seem serious. I mean, I guess... I want to be a hero too. But... Being a hero, it's not really something you need to train for. It's hard to explain... I guess if you're a hero, what you can do will be more than enough. So if you try and train, and what you train for isn't working, that doesn't mean you can't be a hero. Um..." Another awkward chuckle and Hibiki just sat down. She really wasn't sure where she was going with this. She didn't want Itusko to seem sad, but at the same time Hibiki didn't want to say white lies to make her feel better.

"I guess you got into a fight today, didn't you? That's why you were hurt in the food court. I don't know why you fought, and I hope you weren't trying to pick on someone else. But if they were picking on you or someone else, as long as you stood up to them you're a hero. Even if people call you weak or stupid, you did something most people are too scared to do. And being able to do that is what makes you a hero."
