I'm sorry for anyone who was waiting for me. Some real life stuff happened, but for now things seem calm. I'll try to post in my RP's ASAP.

@Hekazu I will have a post up by tomorrow. Gods my heart is pounding, how could my plan have already start to fall apart?
"A spy huh? Aren't spies suppose to be more stealthy?" Parum quipped, but in her mind she was both relieved and panicked. Relieved that she found Leosin. Panicking because he had been captured. Still, Parum could work with this. The camp is obviously still careless and fatten on the spoils of their victory. The fact they managed to infiltrate so easily was a testament of that. All they needed was to make a plan and perhaps they could escape from this encampment with Leosin in tow. Parum was thinking that perhaps under the cover of darkness would be best. Most of the bandits here appear to be human and again, she doubts that they expect any prisoner to try to escape. And they certainly wouldn't if they didn't have someone on the inside helping them out.

But Parum's plans were dashed when she noticed some cultists stirring about. Worse still, she saw Cyanwrath make brief appearance. She was too far to hear what had gone on but she could tell from where he had glanced that their ruse was being investigated. "Shit! No! I need more time, dammit!" Parum didn't expect Cyanwrath to have taken a personal notice of what was going on. Sure, she had expected him to be here, but to have seen Brannor himself? Parum feared that alone would unravel this entire charade. Parum needed to act fast. First she needed to find the others. Torus went to look for food so finding him would be easy enough. Orchid would be somewhat more difficult, but he didn't seem the type to try to hide away either. Parum was pretty certain she heard him yelling too. Finally she'd need to find Brannor and get him out of his cuffs somehow. So first Parum sought out Torus at wherever the field kitchen was at.

Libe has awnsered the call for Hunters as she was resting at her family estate. Unlike the other hunters yesterday, she did not partake in the revelry of drink and feasting. She didn’t consider yesterday’s work worthy of any celebration. All they did was lose a handful of misguided fools and overwhelmed some brute of a fishman, hardly a battle worthy of a swordswoman like herself. Hopefully this new hunt would provide a better challenge.

From what Libe gathered they would be hunting vampires. She knew a little of the beasts, though admittedly most of what she knew just came from tales. Their weakness for garlic, silver weapons, holy water, sunlight, holy symbols, running water, stakes in the heart, and decapitation. And Libe was fairly certain just about any creature could be killed by the last two. Still it paid to be prepared. So before she left for the hunt she visited another home near her family estate. It was the private home of the La’Spada family blacksmith, the very same one who crafted her blade. She came with a simple request.

”I am going to hunt vampires. I need you to silver my weapons.”

“Silver? Lass I hope you know that makes for a poor blade. You’re be better off swinging a broom at a vampire.”

Unlike the rest of the family servants, the family smith spoke candidly with the La’Spada family. It was his unique permission. Still Libe brushed off his concerns as she presented the daggers she usually had hidden in her sleeves. She left her sword sheathed on her back.

”If I had to I could slay a man with a spoon. But I will be facing vampires, which are creatures who are vastly different than your average man. Thus I need a weapon vastly different. I only need my daggers silvered. My sword, in my hands, is fine as is.”

The gruff smith chuckled but did as requested. He coated Libe’s daggers with silver, doing his best to ensure that the coating didn’t dull their cutting edge. Before she left he also presented her something else that may help her: a silver flask. Apparently it contained holy water from the temple. From the smell however Libe could tell it was alcohol.

“Aye. Holy Spirit!”

Libe met up with the other hunters and traveled to the location of their lair. It seemed unassuming at first, but Libe knew better than to underestimate her enemy. Like the fish monster, vampires were thinking creatures. Even if they had the element of surprise now, the vampires would quickly learn and adapt. Libe needed to do the same. When the door was kicked down Libe charged in and attacked. Seven enemies as far as she could see, not including one that was quickly dispatched by the marauder. Most had swords but a few had pitchforks. Even if they were farmer tools, they were still dangerous and long.

Libe charged at one of the vampires armed with a sword. It was more of a machete really, perhaps a falchion if one was generous about sword descriptions. One thing was for certain, they were designed for a chilling motion, which would make their techniques easier for Libe to counter. Sure enough her opponent opened with an overhead chop at Libe, taking a step back expecting her to run into the blade. Slightly better than novice in technique but not enough to defeat Libe. She simply ducked off to the side and let the vampire’s swing overshoot, causing him to open himself to Libe’s slash.

In one swift motion she drew her sword from her sheath and brought the blade across the man shoulder, going from his neck down to his hip. Unlike yesterday when she fought the smaller fishman, Libe didn’t make the mistake of underestimating her opponent’s toughness. She put her full body into this slice and ensures that her blade first cleaved through the vampire’s shoulder before she sliced the rest of her blade through his body. The only thing Libe had to avoid then was the shower of blood.

”So they bleed. Just like… Us.”

Libe had no time to contemplate what she just did as the other vampires began their attack. Bursting out from a room behind her was another, much larger and burlier vampire. His eyes glowed in the darkness, and he wielded two wood cutting axes in his hands with ease. Libe was certain that even if he wasn’t a vampire, his sheer strength would’ve allowed him to do this. Libe simply swiped the blood off her blade and deftly avoided a pitchfork as it was thrusted at her, as well as an axe swing as it whiffed through the air over her head. As both attacks missed Libe sundered the shaft of the pitchfork with a slash of her sword. After destroying the weapon Libe quickly pulled a dagger from her sleeve and stabbed the large vampire in a knee, causing him great pain as making him lose his footing. All Libe had to do then was sweep the foot and cause him to tumble to the ground.

With those two temporary neutralized Libe took a step back and looked at her opponents. Still more enemies to deal with, and likely more hidden within this complex. Libe could let herself be slowed down by mere fodder. Chances are there was a leader here, someone who was a cut above the regular vampires. Slaying my him would surely cement Libe’s skills as a swordswoman. But for now she needed to deal with his underlings first. Their leader will come in due time.
I can try to work on my own post right now.

Edit: Or at least I would if my internet wasn’t a bastard and lost all the work I just did. ToT

This might take a little while longer.

Survival

After having accomplished very little in grimm Stdueis, Yue headed to the surviva class. She had no one to blame but herself for her poor performance. She did not want to admit it, but perhaps her mainly duties have gotten in the way of her performance as a hunter; being able to attend to a party of hundreds or make a seven course dinner has no use if she can’t even stand her own ground against a massive Grimm monster when fighting alongside other hunters.

Yue tried not to let these thoughts bother her as she entered the Survival class. She felt that her skills could be of use here, even if she was more use to the refinement of a well stocked home. A maid should be able to take care of others no matter the environment, be it in the luxury of a lavish mansion or roughing it in the wilds. Seeing the cupcakes Yue could only assume they were gifts to the students. She would eat one, however her own strict diet found no time for fatty snacks at this time. But perhaps later.

Putting the snack in a plastic bag Yue heard the teacher ask everyone to follow her. Yue did so and watched with awe as Ms. Nuit showed them the advantages holographic training room. This was more impressive the. Any of the technology she had seen while training, and Yue’s family had some of Atlus’s best! She was tempted to applaud however this was a survival training class not a technology demonstration. The teacher explained a bit about the room and told the students to find a place to stand.

Yue did as ordered and stood off on her own. Then the area begin to flood and the first lesson began. Thy were on a flooding ship and they just gather supplies and survive. Yue notes the sheer amount of enemies around. ”There are too many for me to fight, especially in this element. Supplies, I need supplies!” If Yue knee the layout of this boat she’d try to find any emergency room. It would have basic supplies for something like this: life jackets, first aid, clean water. But Yue didn’t know and Ms. Nuit likely intended it to be like that. So Yue has to do her best.

With just a simple search Yue was able to find about fifty feet of rope, cooled tightly together, a large tarp about ten feet by ten feet, and some deck brooms. She had an idea how they could be used so she took them with her. More supplies could be found inside the shop but that would risk going inside a quickly sinking ship. Yue could take that risk. Instead she started looking for the life boats. If they could secure those first at least everyone would have a way off this boat.
Thanks for the warm welcome. I’ll try to get a post up first before I head to Discord. We’re all busy you know?
Hey guess who else comes back from the land of the dead.
Dark hair. Elven features. A prisoner. While these descriptions were very general, Parum couldn’t deny that this seemed too good to go to waste. Surely this man was Leosin, and all she’d need to do is find a way to get him out of here. The cover of night would be best, since right now trying to even interact with him during the day would be too suspicious. More so since, unlike the other prisoners, he seems to be crucified for some reason. If Larum had to guess he must have done something to threaten the cultists here. She wouldn’t be surprised if he was going to be executed soon.

All the more reason I need to act fast.[/color] Parum notes that Brannor had also spotted the same man. Perhaps she could use him to confirm his identity, or at least have a reason to get close. But even so Parum couldn’t get close to Brannor either, less she expose some prior relationship between herself and him. No, for now she’ll have to go on her own. Gather more information. But perhaps she could speak to him at a later time.

”Who’s the poor sod tied up over there? Some ring leader or something?” Parum has returned to the captain she had spoken to earlier for a few more questions.
With everyone on the offensive now Libe lowered her blade just a moment to observe everyone fighting. Firstly there was Anastasia and her crew. It was obvious to Libe who among her retinue were fodder picked off the streets and who were actual warriors if some caliber. It only sickened Libe more to see how heartlessly Anastasia three said fodder into the front line while letting herself and her own circle skirt around the beast. Libe wanted to shout, to command them to fall back and let the other hunters deal with the beast. Libe couldn’t stand the idea of sending in men and women knowing that they would die, no matter how practical it’d be.

Another who caught Libe’s eye was the brigand who called himself Maruader. From his name alone Libe figured he was a bandit who joined the guild either for fortune or amnesty, something Libe feared would happen. That the guild would be filled not with righteous hunters of beasts and defenders of the innocent, but lowly bandits and vile men who seek the guild as a means to escape justice. No doubt Marauder’s skills in battle and hunting were earned by fighting guards along the road and chasing down fleeing civilians. However that trick with the shield was… Cunning. Libe couldn’t say that was a bad idea but she didn’t particularly care for him when he got stomped on.

At this point the beast was being overwhelmed by the sheer numbers assaulting him. One of his arms went limp and his movements seem to get sluggish, though no less powerful. This was the perfect opportunity for Libe to strike. She dashed forward as the monster was about to slash at a few hunters, knocking them back before they lost their life. Libe armed her blade to slice between each talon right where the knuckles of the beast stopped. Even if this was a monster, it took the shape of a man, and Libe knew how to hurt them. How to kill them. Using the beast’s own strength Libe sliced her sword into the fishman’s fingers, dragging the blade down while letting the momentum of the monster’s attack slice itself against Libe’s reinforced blade. With the same deft motion she used to decapitated a lesser fishman, Libe sliced off three of the bigger monster’s claws, leaving him nothing but his little finger and thumb.

One Libe finished her attack she was quick to move again even should the beast be too weak to retaliate. At this point she knew that the monster was dead, but she was making sure that she didn’t get caught in the crossfire from Anastasia's minions. Even if they failed to do much harm without their buckshot barrage, Libe wasn’t going to risk the chance of getting brained because some fool missed his mark.
@Stitches

I wouldn't mine Libe having a squire of her own. Where should I meet her?
