1. "Acceleration"
Ryan has access to Acceleration, Acceleration allows Ryan to freeze, slow or if he would choose to do so, accelerate time. He's not sure why he can trigger this ability or how it works, but after having suddenly frozen time (and toying around a bit), he figured out how to utilize it at least. Moving in 'frozen time' causes intense strain on the body, experienced as heat building up inside. Exiting 'frozen time' overheated might cause him to go unconscious or even die. the speed of the heat build-up increases the further time is slowed and Ryan will not cool down in 'frozen time'. He can enter 'accelerated time' to increase the speed of cooling down, but moving through accelerated time causes him to appear and move as if in slow motion.

2. "Power-Acceleration"
Further powers up Acceleration making it possible to cause shock waves when attacking, increasing both pain and knockback.

3. "Blink"
Blink is a mastery of Acceleration. It's the process of repeatedly entering and exiting hypermode, which can give attacks some devastating results. Repeatedly Accelerating causes heat to build up even faster and has a habit of causing splitting headaches.

Skills:
Critical hits - Ryan brutally exploits his knowledge of human anatomy from his major -biology- when fighting. Surprisingly he has also occasionally used this knowledge to help his gang-mates recover after fights. (Improv chiropractor)

Sword fighting - Being practiced at kenjutsu, Ryan makes for a dangerous opponent when wielding a sword or anything as simple as a round metal bar the could be used like one.

Brawling - Since Ryan leads a gang occasional fistfights were...unavoidable. By now Ryan has punched enough people to number triple gang (though this also includes some of his own "daft" gang-mates.

Medic! - Ryan can patch up cuts and wounds using his knowledge of how the body recovers, but since his only actual knowledge of first aid is limited to what he's seen others perform he's not too impressive at it.

Intimidation - Ryan has a little gang and is well known around Aria bay, his name carries weight and some people are genuinely afraid of him.

College studies:
Major: Biology Ryan hasn't paid too much attention during classes, but he's always liked biology and despite his delinquent behavior he has a perfect attendance record (for biology). He excels in the subject of the human anatomy and is brutal in the exploiting of this knowledge when getting into fights with other delinquents.

Minor: Sports (Kenjutsu) Ryan is a sporty fellow, he is always up for some brawling, but with a sword in his hands his fighting suddenly becomes a lot less unpolished. He did a Kenjutsu scholarship and made it to the nationals, but he never actually managed to win any big tournaments.

Appearance: Ryan has messy dirty-blond hair that reaches down to his chin. He has a stern-looking face with green eyes, usually with bags under them. He is fairly buff, but not overly buff and stand at 6'2" tall. Ryan wears his gang's signature jacket, black with a spiked pad on the left shoulder and the gang insignia on the back. Under it he wears one of a variety of gory T-shirts and dark-red jeans. He carries around a wooden training sword and of course a (leather) bag.

Backstory: Ryan has been out causing trouble since his early childhood, seeming to somehow attract it. his relationship with his parents is fairly cold and has been this way ever since he would keep coming back home with bruises and classmates' angry parents. He rents a building he calls 'The Hideout' in the less crowded part of the city using money the gang scrapes together (doing actual legitimate jobs). He lives in this building with the majority of the gang, led by him and his 2 childhood friends.

He's got no sob story and detests people who keep complaining about their life, though he occasionally does it himself too. With his 2 childhood friends he forms a solid team that has led the way to dominance in the delinquent world, fighting foes armed with knives and wrenches more often than not. While he is a thug and definitely not a stranger to violence, he still works to ensure his gang-mates at least attend school so they are able to return to the more 'respectable' part of society would they want to, "instead of becoming complete losers".

Yukihara felt mildly annoyed. She had looked forward to going to this school, but upon seeing the crowd here to get their room assignments her heart sank. Worried about accidentally freezing more people she had opted to sit in a corner and wait for everyone to be gone, this caused her to arrive at her room way later than most other students. She still didn't regret her choice as she witnessed a punk-looking girl zap her way past the line, glad she wasn't in it. She hadn't been bored either since there were plenty of monster species she had never seen or heard of before. Of course, there were also plenty she had heard of before, specifically one werewolf stood out, and since Yukihara was in the room the entire time she couldn't help but overhear. Eventually the crowd died out and Yukihara went to the assigned room. All in all she was satisfied with how things had gone.

With a sigh Yukihara entered the room. It wasn't a bad room, though fairly standard. No one was in the room, but there were bags, she had missed her roommate. Yukihara lay down for a bit, but after 10 minutes she had regained her excitement and could no longer bear just lying on her bed. She got up and left the room, checking for crowds she was relieved to see the hallway was mostly empty. She wandered around the building for a while looking for a nice view. In passing she noticed some silhouettes on a rooftop, but decided to pay them no mind as she continued her search.
