We've got a dedicated group of RPers, waiting to get things off the ground floor. You could read this Interest Check, but it's a bit messy. The Plot Summary will be moved to the front page of this thread (and down below), just so you get the short and quick of it. The rest of the pertinent information will be neatly divided into Player Knowledge and Character Knowledge in the OOC.

Thing

Plot Summary: The Pariah Dreams are drawn together by the first Rift to interfere with their Corporeal Reality Shard. This Anomalistic Rift releases a creature into New Graeline city, one which begins seeking out certain individuals who have a corrupted Fate Kernel. These Prime Entities (the humans) are targeted through various means and inevitably (and quickly) suffer death (I figure these will be our intro posts. I was thinking it wouldn't necessarily matter if they all died at once, given the strange desynchronization of time between their reality and Navain...as well as the various other layers of metaphysical un-realms), after their death they are met by a Scribe. The Scribe transports them to Navain, wherein they will encounter the beginning of their journey. They will begin in the Hollow Egress; a scattering of ruins from New Graeline with a nigh-destroyed hospital serving at its center.

Within the Hollow Egress they will meet a character who offers them the chance to return home. As well as, probably, some exposition.

Otherwise, I plan for our characters to interact in the real world and attempt to discover what exactly is going on with their transitions between the two worlds and what impact their actions may have on the 'real world'.

@Kessir Tarkin The character looks good, but I'd prefer changes in the Title. Maybe something that isn't based directly on an already existing story. The Monkey King theme/powers feel out of place, to me, as well.

@pugbutter Oh, I rather like his ability set. I expect all of our characters to be fairly formidable, eventually. I expect you to handle it responsibly and stuff; because their Manifestations will become more potent as the story progresses.

Also, the Tarot deck implementation is a system I'm working on and plan to show off once I manage to get home.

Right now the element of the card is the category they're going to fall into; to assist me in utilizing the more abstract cards. Major will be handled differently, though I'm conflicted on how exactly I want to handle 'em.

@pugbutter I am so glad you said that. I hate writing any sort of bio. I will remove it, asap. It's totally optional for other folk, though.

Second: It is their corporeal form that moves to Navain. Death in Navain, though, may lead to them becoming part of the 'junk data' of the Layered Reality its self.

That also means my character is done.

Edit: As a note, you might be wondering how my character's ability is gonna work. I intend to take my Tarot deck and shuffle it for the intended effect, using the inverted meanings of most of the cards. I thought I'd explain this so it doesn't seem like I'll just be fucking around with the power.

Second Edit: Since I wasn't sure I made this clear, the death of a Pariah Dream does not mean that you have to quit or anything. Introducing another PD is totally plausible. Dunno why that crossed my mind.
